We got her the third one. Next time, we shall get her all the outfits!
 
I think part of why Mami looks so good in those outfits is how relaxed she is. She isn't "on the job" in her senpai role, with her hair-drills. She's relaxed, her hair in a simpler style, in casual clothes. Like, who doesn't look better when they're all relaxed and happy on a vacation? Those pics are totally vacation Mami.

I think the second pic is just a bad angle for the ruffle-thing along the bust. I've seen dresses with a similar style with the semi-detached sleeves, and they should work well for someone with Mami's body type. I actually have more issue with the harem pants she's wearing in the first picture, because (in my opinion) despite their popularity at times, they never have looked good on anyone.

I was rereading a bit. Was Hiroko a typo here? Maybe supposed to be referring to Akiko? I know it's a while back, but Hiroko has been nice, and it confused me.

Speaking of Hiroko, at our meeting tomorrow where we introduce them to the Shiogama group we should warn them about Walpurgisnacht and the more immediate threat of the Soujus.

Also, we should definitely meet at the same ice cream place we did the other time, just because the same person may be at the counter and it seems like it'd be fun to confuse her. Although I'm not completely serious about that.

Best case scenario she knows / knew a meguca, like Hitomi's mom, and is curious.

Fun case scenario, and the more likely scenario, Masami and Hiroko became regular customers, ordering ice cream like 10 times a day (hyperbole) at that store suddenly, and the woman at the counter is simply confused. The first thing Masami did after being healed was eat ice cream after all, and meeting for ice cream was Hiroko's suggestion. Actually, I wonder if Masami is sick of eating ice cream yet...

To me, the issue is that the dress appears to be constructed from wrapping paper or some other only vaguely clothlike rigid material.

Yes, I'm aware weeks are a long time. But also recognise that my update rate has, unfortunately, dropped severely lately - about one per week, in fact. Four -or eight- updates is not that long with respect to the thread.
