Anyway how are our food stores again?

Given we were mentioned in the past as having gone without harvests for the better part of three years... that means we probably store something like a thousand pounds of food. Per person, on average (kids get less, but working men get a lot more). 3 billion pounds of grain and other foodstuffs at any one time.

If we are at war with the Trelli, the RB should be protecting the trading outpost until we achieve naval supremacy. Once we won the naval war, we should send the RB to siege Trelli itself.

A vote for another storehouse Annex expansion will allow us to maintain the surplus food that has fueled our growth and feed our refugees. The new vote on grain will encourage the sale of private excess for profit. This will help maintain our safety net and control of the economy. Our trade dominance could be usurped by the khemetri in the long term if we incentivise coin over real goods much like global trades effect on local business. Economy of scale trumps all in trade dependant nations. Help me close pandora's box before it devours us all.

Found it!
Both people and demons were met with a stern faced wall of men and women in deathly silent crow masks. To those seeking refugee they were given food, water, shelter, and comfort.

To the demons?

They gave nothing and took everything!

These guys are fucking insane. I mean how badass do you have to be to charge into a diseased area you know has a chance of killing you without a shed of fear? Especially when you believe to be fighting demons instead of it's true mundane origin. I bet even some of the hardest warriors wouldn't do that.

Where was the three year part mentioned? The drought?

But yeah thats a lot of food. We need AN to confirm it though. Wasn't out land supposed to so beautiful that it struck awe in to those who first see it and that it was plentiful in food and water where the people have never known hunger. It makes me think that we might just be Atlantis if it was on land.

I've been wondering but what rumors are there that actually drive people to come to us? They have to have a reason to believe that they could start a new life here.

You know our diplomacy is terrible. There just isn't enough actions to keep in contact with people. What are they even doing? We haven't had an update on them for a while. We need a passive to get info, maybe we should do the Quarian pilgrimage thing where they go on a journey and bring back what they learned.

I'd say slightly less badass than the regular folk with no medical knowledge volunteering to be infected with the new plague killing people:
People volunteered to test treatments, and while far too many died - painfully, perhaps needlessly - these were losses against a foe greater than them, and more than one person passed on with a smile on their face as well as pained tears in their eyes - if their death meant the salvation of friends and family, then no matter how hideous it would be a good death.

(Seriously that update, and the one after where we gave the knowledge out to all, is definitely one of the People's proudest moments, imo)
