Nah, that's intentional: we want to manually do survey + ironworks so that we can get extra mileage out of reform and pick something else. Myranyn is ought to die sometime soon, so we should exploit him while we can.

Does that really matter? Our last two secondaries are currently in a tie between increasing stability/centralization, opening prolonged diplomatic relations with the Freehills, and having a famine. That is absurd no matter how you cut it.

May I ask people to reconsider voting for Ironworks? There's a good chance that we could build those and have a survey during midturn as a reform action.
If we get a reform action we have any number of other useful things to spend it on. Delaying ironworks for that sounds like a losing proposition.

I'd like to point out, famine will cost us more than one stability. Because in famine, when we lose econ to vampirism, we lose another stability, and we can get drained again.

We've had the option to wreck people before with that trick; let's not set ourselves up for the same, hey?

Pretty sure AN said that greater climate change or natural disasters such as a volcanic eruption will bypass temp Econ resistance, but our Greater Sacred Forest project makes it so climate change only effects us for one turn.

Like raising an actual army, by Veekie's logic. We do kind want to do that - sitting at 4 Martial isn't the best place for us to be.

And while we are going to need the block housing, in case something comes up and interrupts us, I'd much rather have the Ironworks done first; it actually improves our Expand Economy action, whereas block housing costs us 1 econ/turn. Furthermore, the only purpose of Block Housing right now is to enable Ironworks Lvl2, and we ALSO need Ironworks Lvl1 to do the same.

This is now identical to the leading vote aside from swapping the EJ and PG. [Main] PG is -1(ish) Centralization, -3 Culture, -1 Econ for +0.5 Stability, +1 Prestige. I don't consider that a worthwhile trade in the slightest.

While my prior vote I think is slightly better, the main difference is just which actions I suspect will be taken by Balanced and which are taken by us, so it doesn't really matter.

Fucking finally.

So we need to go to war while also setting things up to complete quests without dropping stability or legitimacy.

Do the smart guys have a plan set up yet?
