People, we are at 0 stability and red martial.
We do need to raise stability before doing anything else.

Especially since integrating anything will raise our martial even further.

If the guy at the end of the chapter likes her and gets the job done, he may get her out of there by marrying her.

Waut, somebody explain again how Libraries work? That sound silly.
OOh. Thanks, @PrimalShadow . So up to -2 is free....we can still do both Mysticism-wise, apparently.

Oh. Nevermind then.
I mean, *if* we are lucky on actions needed, we can still do both - namely, if Census takes 2 actions. But it's a gamble then.
One of them would get done for sure, and if the hypothetical legacy is gotten by starting two on the same turn then it is much more secure.

So it's not a bad plan though I am concerned about the Baby Boom.

Have headache, thinking is hard. Ymaryn have problems. Megaprojects help problems. Make more megaprojects. Raise stability in midturn thing.

[X] [Main] The Census
[X] [Secondary] The Games
[X] [Secondary] The Games x2

Then Provinces do one Main of Census or Games, Law doubles that so it's done for sure.
Provinces have ~2-3 Main though? Symphony is only even needed if both end up needing 3 actions...in which case, since refund apparently triggers at the end of turn, we are out of Mysticism - we can handle 3 action Games and 2-action Census, but not 3-action Census and anything else.
I mean, it would leave Games needing about 1-2 more actions, which provimces will handle next turn, and the refund + trickle will leave us at decent mysticism, so even such worst-case is not really *bad*, just not as hilarious as one-turning two megas.

And, like, Games probably would go some way towards creating more unified cultural identity and all, so it is not a bad or untimely project.

About the most succinct reason I have seen.

*hugs*

Lets put the fear of law and order into the less than harmonius parts of the population:mob:

They still only have secondaries I believe.

There was some AN WoG's on the subject whereby we are getting two mega actions from the Law and then an extra secondary unused, which is then slotted for resource gen.

Actually here from the front page:

Province Actions: 1/2 Provinces Secondary

So just secondaries.

Otherwise yeah I think your costing is fine. And I actually really like The Games too for the reasons you give and think they are probably the most vulnerable to getting nicked by THOSE DARN SAND FOLKS! *shakes fists* THAT WAS OUR MOUNTAIN!

Ahem.

Or the Not!Greeks.

[X] [Main] Census
A step closer to Iron Law. Fix the law and hopefully drive away corruption from there on.
[X] [Secondary] New Settlement - south of cataracts
Landgrab for dam, to prolong Baby Boom and to ensure we suffer the least for when some part of it inevitably fails.
[X] [Secondary] Integrate Colony - Hatvalley - Propagate
Landgrab towards the Trelli, who practice chattel slavery.
[X] [Free] Found Colony - Greenshore
I want the West Trade Post to link up with Greenshore. As the old saying goes, united we stand, divided we fall. We can afford to lose the diplomacy drip. We cannot afford to lose the West Trade Post.

We could use a mercenary company on Hatvalley seeing as we will be a stone's throw or a giant arrow away (this is exactly why we want the ballistae) from the Trelli soon. If we get the chance to, we should take it. Normally I'd all be for building more boats and mills but as most of the above are either time-sensitive or best done sooner than later, I'll leave it to our subordinates. I'm going to walk my dog to lift my spirits some. Good day.

All things considered, we are on a plateau in terms of inner and outer situation.

Not the best and not the worst, going up or going down depends on the item we view as most important.

I'm 120% against land grab, direct or indirect. Don't need no new land, just need to make better and effective use of what we have.

Fingers crossed for hero-less turn, especially nomad ones.

Well people will always be people, no matter which plane of existance they live in.

So anyway, last time out problem was the tax was too complex to be implemented properly. Now they are too simple to prevent the injustices that we originally tried to curb with them

I am against landgrab too, maaaaaaybe with the exception for propagating Hatvalley, but only because Trelli are assholes.
I am willing to approval vote for stability boosters, but composing a big vote from phone is a paaaain, so I will do it in ~10 hours from home.

[X] [Main] The Census

Not... quite? Sorta.

Part of the issue is that they are too complex for a newcomer to understand easily. One way to fix Naha's situation is too make sure the details of the Law are being taught to all in an understandable fashion, which requires formatting it such that that is possible without compromising it's effectiveness.

Basically, like in the first Tax we need to get the Ymaryn to re-think a lot of things.

Then there is the more direct example of directing the Law to adapt to our new market situation, like the stuff with the closed loop contracts and the market differential value issues we are having.

Interestingly, one of the ways of getting a 9/100 chance off d100s is doubles. There are 9 doubles (not including 00, which is 100.) So a 0.81% chance could simply be the chance that a specific pair of dice came up doubles. (And we do know that AN uses doubles as some kind of 'moderated crit' mechanic.)

Refugee integration success: 11

What the hell, see if you get a free upgrade: 93

Oh snap! :D
