Switching to support will allow us to finish the temple in 2ish turns, as well as free up our actions to pump up stability and establish a trading post (among other things).

[Secondary] Study metal only has a tiny chance of innovation, and it costs 1 mysticism (which we are burning until we finish the Temple). There might be a bit of narrative synergy, but it won't actually amount to something unless we put actual effort into the study action by making it a [Main].

Even though I firmly believe that Study Metal is the better option, I can't say I'd mind too much if Study Forest won instead. It's been neglected for so long. It must feel lonely.

Ugh, Balanced is so annoying since I have no idea what the provinces are going to do. They might go
[Main] Expand Economy
[Secondary] Study Metal
[Secondary] Improve Annual Festival
[Secondary] Study Forest
or they could do
[Main] Expand Economy
[Secondary] Expand Vineyard
[Secondary] New Settlement
[Secondary] Study Stars
and we have no clue.

And since the bandwagon is gone, reverting to my original vote.

The other shamans around that man slowly inched away as the king attempted to channel the fury of the gods through his eyeballs and smite the man via glare alone

Our Province did it once. Not us. It doesn't count >3>
Actually, a point on study forest.

We're currently working on our temple, yes? The one in the sacred forest? If we study the forest while doing this we might create some synergy there.

So study forests is getting pretty favored for me in terms of the last action slot.
Since it's going to be a duo with Crow, I'm hoping for a more Fae approach, ethereal and beautiful. A Summer Court Fae to Crow's Winter Court Fae if you will.

Inb4 a voting Bloc tries to magical realm us

There's this one shaman in the back who keeps going "Idol when?" and is probably waaaaaay into Tuultox.

...Wait. Did we fully get Bronze? Not just the general idea? We actually know how to make it??? o_O

Yup.

*On that note... @Academia Nut i asked earlier but it got lost in all the questions at the time, how have things evolved on the women's rights/female leadership/gender norms front in the centuries since you last gave us a big overview of it, before Magwyna?

The patriarchy continues to grow, but still less quickly than everywhere else.

We USED to be able to take Festivals as Secondary actions. It's very possible that other Civilizations still can, or that a particular value would let us do so. If this is true, then the "flavor text" here would sill list "Secondary becomes Main" even though it's actually impossible for our civilization to take it at a Secondary level. If any of that makes sense.

You can take Improve Festivals as a single secondary.

Can provinces take Improve Annual Festival while on Balanced? Does the Special apply to their actions as well?

If they have nothing else to do.

This turn only or for a longer period of time?

More than this turn, but not necessarily indefinitely.

Actually, I really suspect Docks as a main. It flat out increases trade power.

I am very opposed to fyth as the mother, because of the Implications

Others have pointed out that it won't and pblur agreed.

I don't understand your point here. AN has outrightly stated that Improve Fetival is enhanced due to having a new luxury resource (wine). It's in the update and was quoted.

Edit: You mean finishing the Great Temple in one turn and the golden age. That's not why I voted.

Honestly I don't care that much about this vote. Festival, Docks, Study Forest, and several others are all reasonable actions we could choose, and with our provinces taking Crow knows which actions...

Really the only one I'm against is Megaproject Support. As annoying as Balanced is, we have a lot of needs right now and rushing megaprojects isn't the solution.

The problem is that it only gets us to Stability 2, and we need Stability 3 for a Golden Age.

My misunderstanding is that Temple won't qualify for stewards, so we won't get the last stability for a golden age. We'd be a stab 2.
