Really, actually, seriously, totally?
Really, actually, seriously, totally?
It only detects things that start working inside the radius. If a ninja 7 feet away from the seal shoots a lightning bolt at another ninja 7 feet away from a seal on a path which traverses the 6 foot radius (i.e. represents a chord of the circle), would that activate the seal?
Edit:
If Kei vacuum steps along that same path, does it detect her?
A vertical wall is erected 8 feet from the seal. Hazou, while chatting up Ami, is adhered horizontally to the wall such that his feet are outside the 6 foot radius but his torso is within it. Does the seal activate?
For what it's worth:I was imagining it more as "I can't stop Keiko doing whatever she thinks to do, because this is an issue that she cares about deeply." The idea that Hazō could reliably restrain her seems like a polite fiction.
Ditto for this rephrasing TBH.
Oh, look! Way more than one chapter worth of content.
So to be clear, we shouldn't be waiting on a MfD chapter to drop to do planning?
You can if you like. I don't know about @eaglejarl, but I see a lot of potential in the currently winning plan of "Hazou dreams of a beautiful Keiko looking girl with Akane's energy and sunny personality, surely such an Angel of a women can't exist." Comma splice notwithstanding. So to be clear, we shouldn't be waiting on a MfD chapter to drop to do planning?
Theres that literal genie again.Well, "guaranteed" is stronger than I would say, since I'm not willing to post a bond in case of internet failure or wrath of Jashin. Still, it is in fact the plan that @Velorien will be posting an update tomorrow. Possibly two, actually -- I think he had more content written than fit in one chapter.
:>Theres that literal genie again.
Fake edit: Didnt post when I tried earlier
FWIW I didn't write the original. This is a very different phrasing from what you originally said
To the extent that "insightful" emojis imply agreement, the split seems to be 3-3. I checked with a housemate who seems to agree with me, so I'm tempted to think it's regional.Sidebar: So far as I can recall, no one else has spoken up to say that your original phrasing did not meet the standards of blackmail. That may have been apathy, but if not then it might be worth recalibrating your definition of the word, since it seems to be non-idiomatic.
Does Hazou know this?
I dunno, you tell me.
*grumble grumble im not your PC grumble grumble* Alright, fine. We (as in Hazou) know that TLitF erases memories, and costs a "price". Mari-sensei notes that this price has only increased now that she has something to lose (us), and at this point TLitF is a jutsu she doesn't want to use anymore. Ever.
She blinked as if remembering something. "Oh, yeah. Whatever you choose, I won't hurt you. You're in a forbidden genjutsu called Truth Lost in the Fog. As long as I'm willing to pay the price, I can choose for you to wake up as if you were dreaming, and forget everything you saw and heard.
Hazou watched for a moment. "Um...I was wondering about Yuno," he said carefully. "I'm worried how she'll take it if we tell her that Noburi never intended to marry her. Could you use Truth Lost in the Fog on her?"
Inoue froze, then went back to sipping carefully at the soup. After a moment she sighed.
"The price for that is getting higher all the time," she half-said, half-muttered. She licked her lips uncomfortably. "Hazou," she said. "I...really can't. Before, I didn't have much to lose but now I do. All of you are...precious to me." The last words came out in a rush and she blushed furiously.
Hazou grinned fit to split his face. "Awww, Sensei, that's so sweet!"
Inoue growled and tried to swat him, but it was half-hearted at best. "Don't let it go to your head," she said. "Anyway, no. Given how things are, I'm not sure I'll ever be comfortable using Truth Lost in the Fog again. We'll just have to find another way."
Thanks, as ever, for the exact citations!*grumble grumble im not your PC grumble grumble* Alright, fine. We (as in Hazou) know that TLitF erases memories, and costs a "price". Of course, she could be lying.
I wonder if Mari even remembers how she learned it. Receiving or creating a powerful kinjutsu may have been a happy memory.Point of note: Hazō knows literally nothing about the internal mechanics of Truth Lost in the Fog.
Edit: For that matter, nor do the players. We've been very careful not to confirm or deny anything.

You fool! You utter fool!
More seriously, I don't really care what happens with the rest of the update, and the QMs like it when we give them scenes to do with what they will.
Have you learned nothing from Family Game Night!?the QMs like it when we give them scenes to do with what they will.
