And ladies!
And other fine folks!
And ladies!
Personally, I like "gentlefolk" so as not to disclude the fae among us.
Blowing stuff up is Kagome's thing. Talk to him about it.Y'know, y'all are taking your sweet time in blowing up the major villages and plunging the world into a new Warring Clans period.
Edit: How did you arrive at this blasphemous interpretation of the statement cited?
Does it count if it's in the backstory?
Only until we figure out resurrection.
But why?
You want everyone we know and love in MfD to die, I don't think you asking "why" is very appropriateBut why?
waits for Ino and/or Akane to die in combat to further Hazou's ambition
Uh, yeah, no, if we end up fridging someone it'll be Kagome or Noburi for surewaits for Ino and/or Akane to die in combat to further Hazou's ambition
We need to get Kagome involved with library lady so he can have plot immunity!Uh, yeah, no, if we end up fridging someone it'll be Kagome or Noburi for sure

By the way, have we decided or made any progress on which system we're going to end up using? I don't read every post so I could've very easily missed it, but it's been a while and it would be nice to know what progress has been made.
Kagome: !!!!!!!! *runs off dragging Noburi*Uh, yeah, no, if we end up fridging someone it'll be Kagome or Noburi for sure
Never underestimate the power of properly applied explosions!Kagome: !!!!!!!! *runs off dragging Noburi*
Noburi: HOW DID YOU EVEN GET HERE I THOUGHT YOU WERE IN LEAF
*blows up @Cariyaga in Kagome*
We may need to walk that back. The more we look into MM the more reservations we have...it's becoming clear that it's a complex system that's going to be hard to learn on the fly.

From my perspective, QM familiarity with the system is the most important aspect of any system, which makes me support the DF system (seeing as you were able to use it in an interlude, seemingly without too much trouble), so long as it has a way of handling devices (seals), device construction (sealing), and probably chakra (though I'm pretty ok with handwaving chakra expenditure away if it'd help prevent mechanics from breaking). I'm incredibly wary of significantly modifying any system, since that seems to miss the entire point of moving to a tested system and will likely lead to a bunch of the problems we're trying to avoid (i.e. excessive numbers of things to track, option bloat = power, detailed resource management mid-combat, character uniqueness (thus hard to build NPCs), rule exploits due to edge cases etc.) which arise from having a thoroughly custom ruleset. We may need to walk that back. Yes! We're actually making good progress on systematizing the shift. In particular, we think we've hit on a good way to do the shift without nerfing you guys, which was a major goal.By the way, have we decided or made any progress on which system we're going to end up using? About that... It's become a LOT more DF heavy, because that just seems like a lighter load cognitively. I think we maaaaaaay steal MM stuff for e.g. the seal / jutsu research systems?

What are MM and DF, by the way? I mean, what do they stand for, so that I can Google them to learn more?Yes! We're actually making good progress on systematizing the shift. In particular, we think we've hit on a good way to do the shift without nerfing you guys, which was a major goal.
