True, and I think we've been pretty good at pointing out when players behavior isn't being helpful. It obviously isn't the same given the asymmetry of it, but I think it's fair to point out when a QM's behavior isn't being helpful as well, as long as we don't harp on about it or gang up on them. Sometimes we all need a reminder.

Oh Goddesses, end-of-episode South Park/MLP moral incoming.

(Only mostly facetious here.)

I feel like right now no individual is doing too much, but ganging up is definitely happening.

EDIT: eaglejarl apparently seems to think so, and his (and his fellow QM's) feelings are the ones that are relevant here.

While I agree with some of what you've said here, I think that I should point out that you're suffering from survivorship bias with respect to the portion highlighted in orange.
Thats fair; even leaving aside the worst way possible being very difficult, it's unlikely, to say the least, that that is the goal of the QMs. With that being said, it has thus far seemed dispeoportionately negative, and while it might be bias talking I cant actually remember the last time a plan acted contrary to its intent in a positive way instead of a negative; sure, maybe thats me ascribing anyt posituve results as being intenional or unworthy of attention, but it still steikes me oddly.
You can see EagleJarl's patreon for a list of some of what he's worked on and his fanfiction.net profile for more of it. I think there's more out there but I can't remember where right now.

You can see Velorien's fanfiction.net profile for some of what he's written and also his patreon.

Unfortunately I'm not aware of anything written by OliWhail other than this. If someone can correct me, I will be eternally (or at least for a couple of hours) grateful.

Browsing the fanart. Inadvertently sending myself on a feel trip.

And now we're here. In hell.

Except Shikaku will just assume that this is exactly what we wanted.

Shikaku: overdosing on Von Neumann-Morgenstern since Chapter 119.

[X] Poll (Agency): Yes, I want to give up some control of Hazō such that he will generally follow the plan but the GMs will make him do whatever they think is sensible whenever we (the players) vote in something that they (the GMs) think is inappropriate for Hazō-the-character to do. I fully understand that "inappropriate" and "whatever they think is sensible" are subjective and might not be things I approve of or would prefer and I promise not to complain about it in those cases.

Actually. Fuck it. THIS IS NOT A DRILL.

[X] BUY SOME YOUTHSUITS!
Kneel in front of Kagome-Sensei, and tell him you need his help to get through this, but to help us, he has to go through with a plan that might seem crazy.
Don't explain the plan to him. Or anyone.
Convince the others to let you two leave for however long it takes (rough mental estimate) to get to the closest town you can get to BUY A YOUTHSUIT! Don't let the others know why you chose that duration of time.
Dispel the Air Dome.
Travel with Kagome to the nearest town/city that you can BUY A YOUTHSUIT! at.
BUY TWO YOUTHSUITS!
Induct Kagome into the cult religion of YOUTH!

I'm not sure why people are rating this funny. I'm being serious here. Honestly, memetic religious propagation is a very valid endgame.

I mean, look at religion IRL.

Oh, and over 500 comments in 12 hours. That *has* to be a record. 20+ pages? I think the closest was either YOUTHSUIT! or killbox.

After some time away to think....

As much as anything else, I don't really buy that Kagome would see Minami knowing Noburi can chakra drain people to be a threat worth killing her over. It's nonsense. Who cares if she knows? What is this "threat"? That she's aware of one of his more powerful capabilities? The fact that all of the QMs apparently nodded their heads and assumed sorrowfully that this was an inevitable reaction just leaves me feeling like their and mine understanding of "rational" is radically different and will never meet.

I think the reveal of us being Cold Stone Killers and the vampire mist is fair, in-character and similar to how screw ups have been handled in this quest so far. I accept Kagome is paranoid and bad at social situations but he isn't stupid.
  • We have made it quite clear that Minami is supposed to be treated as a member of the team and he has acquiesced even if it went against his personal judgement.
  • Even Kagome should know that killing your superior officer results in trouble and possible exile. He may believe that Jiraiya will attempt to cover it up but he also knows how bad he is at keeping secrets.
  • Vampire rain is nothing compared to our seals
  • There is no reason to kill her immediately given how isolated we are. Who is she going to tell? It would not be difficult to have a private conversation among the team about clan matters by passing notes.
