@Radvic Why do we have to do this? The only people who know of our Henge disguise are the villagers and the merchant-people. I get the feeling it would be much simpler to just say we might come back and when we do we'll have the same Henge disguise.
Gives us more options for returning, if for example, we wanted to escort someone through their neck of the woods and needed a place to stay (but were using a different henge), sets up good practices for interacting with future villages or people with more resources, and doesn't really do any harm or cost us anything.

ETA: also seems like a fun ninjay thing to do

If we got strong enough to escort someone through monster-infested forests without dropping a Henge or otherwise revealing our ninja status we should be strong enough to make an appropriately-Henge'd Water Clone join our group.

But I see your point.

I just couldn't resist myself in the end. I mashed together the relevant parts from @Radvic and @Chronic trying to keep everything as low risk as possible and edited it to my preferences. I recommend reading through it carefully to pick up all the changes/additions/removals.

As a side note: I've been advocating for people to just copy-paste each others plans and put in their preferences but now that I was supposed to do it myself, it just felt like the wrong thing to do. I have no idea why. Be better than me, if there's something you'd like to add to any of the plans just copy-paste it and make your additions. People will vote for it in the end if the changes were good.

[X] Sticky Finish

Before heading to a new village lets make at least a cursory attempt at gathering some information.
  • Trade for a map from the caravan and ask overview of the nearby villages
  • Trade for a barrel from the caravan for Wakahisa
  • If we have nothing else to trade (like meat) use some of the bristles for the trade
  • Try to scope out news out of the Caravan, anything interesting going on in the world?
  • Stay for a few days in the village to scope out the caravan
    • Ask the villagers if the caravan which just came is odd in any way (e.g. timing, guards, supplies, mannerisms etc.)
    • Hunt for food or something else useful for the village (While not revealing our ninjaness to the caravan)
    • Observe the caravan stealthily for suspicious movement, keep watch during the night
  • Have Inoue confront one of the village elders about the Black Hunter, use persuasion and deceit, no need for violence
  • Leave a way for the townspeople to get in contact with us, or recognize "our associates" (us henged once we're better at deception)
    • Leave an identification drawing (of a waterbug) with the villagers, and tell them to not show it to anyone.
    • Tell them we or friends we send to them will have an exactly identical drawing to verify it is them, which they can and should compare to at their leisure.
    • Have Hazou memorize the drawing to reproduce if we return here.
  • If we find out nothing interesting about the caravan or the Black Hunter head out to a new village

Roughly 12 hours remaining.

Personally I'm against contacting the Black Hunter. His actions suggests to me he's a missing-nin because he's alone and ran away as soon as he was spotted, and only tried to seriously kill after his standard evasion tactics failed. If he were a hunter-nin he wouldn't be alone and would have done something in the several days between our meeting and now. Our faces are in the Bingo Book and I'm pretty sure we weren't under Henge: he should have an idea of who we are if he bothers to keep track of anything.

Point of information: your faces have been in the bingo book for, at most, a month. Whoever he is, he is unlikely to have an updated bingo book.

You are correct, you were not under henge during your encounter with the black hunter.

I am okay with that, though i still think that we should break into the caravans stuff. I feel fairly certain that it is nowhere as risky as people say, assuming the caravan has no ninja trained guards.

They just aren't enough people to post more than one night guard, and if we make certain that guard is out via a sleep genjutsu we should be able to act unnoticed.

I would like to point out that the entire village knows we are ninja, the chances of the caravan not finding out that we are ninja from the village are super low.

EDIT: Also, there are 3 caravan guards, which is a very ninja-like number.

Aww man. That's a bit disappointing. We are really going to have to tell Inoue eventually, and hopefully this postponement won't bite us in the ass.

So the vote is tell/don't tell?
[X] Sticky Finish +Tell Inoue about blank-making.
I was marked as voting for Finish Up and move out before

Actually, I'm just gonna go ahead and do that.

ATTENTION @Sigil , @Twofold , @Solace , @Ridiculously Average Guy , @Orisha91 , @Chronic , @MadScientist , @Radvic , @faflec , @Silver719 !

The most recent vote just ended, but it seemed that some of the voters for the winner (Sticky Finish) were unaware that the plan didn't include telling Inoue about our bloodline's blank-making. As such, EagleJarl is giving us about 2 & 1/2 hours to vote on that issue. Please try to put in a vote for whether we should tell her or not. Everyone voting will give a clearer picture of what the voters of this round want.

PS: Should we only count votes for people who voted this round or no?
