May I recommend we all assume that the rest of the readers are well aware of the facts around Itachi's ultimatums, and can vote for action plans accordingly, so we can put this matter to rest?

      • Once they're out of Leaf, and confident they weren't followed, Mari is to give Noburi a passphrase and he'll go to Toad for further instructions
        • Ask the Toad Sages if they'd help screen Noburi for genjutsu or hidden seals
    • Write our letters with Kei's assistance and send then via drop on the Seventh Path.
      • Sound entitled and deliquent in Naruto/Itachi's letter. We'll come home when we're Sage-Damned ready. There's a war on the Seventh Path and trap arrays need to be dismantled.
    • Discuss the precautions (oaths, restricted locations, Boss permissions) we're going to need to take on the Seventh Path to remove that as an avenue of communication from Leaf.
      • Begin setting them in motion as soon as the letter to Mari is sent.
      • Kei, will Pantsaa make this easy for you?
    • Work on Capacitor and then (time permitting) Icarus while waiting for the exfil to complete.
      • Use DoB, no prep, reroll for safety.
      • Read Sealing Notes on rest days.

I don't think we should be defaulting to finishing the runes we started when circumstances have changed significantly. Any thoughts on what other ones we should research, or if we should continue on them?
 
Man the things I would do to get this much engagement on my posts.
jk, I'd spend some but not large amounts of effort for that boon

I think they're worth the research time. Capacitor is almost done (2 days) and Icarus is maybe 6-8 days from completion. Icarus especially is a useful rune and I think it's worth continuing with it. Once we have Nobs and can multithread I think we should double up on no-prep Dobbying Superchiller and Air Leadening.

After that? Full prep Ninja-radar and Force Dome.

After that? IDK we probably want to reassess.

The Capacitor Rune is "barely inches away", it will probably be done in a single round. Icarus Runes...They're not terrible, but against Deidara, Konan, or Itachi they're not so useful. I'm not 100% sold on making them since they're only 33% done with 2 full prep stages...

I might consider switching to "Complete Capacitor Rune, no prep, no DoB": I'm pretty sure the TN is in the 30s which we easily clear without work; then to a prep day on the Onsighter; then to Force Domes (full prep, DoB). Not 100% sure, though; these are just my initial thoughts.

We rolled a 51 and a 48 to get 1/3 of the way through. If you recalc this with no-prep yes DoB and +3 levels of PS we can expect to roll higher with no prep.

PS 23 + 21 (crossover) + 12 (DoB) = 56

So likely 6 days - 8 days to finish with no prep DoB cycles. Worth a week IMO.

Wouldn't it more make sense to head to the Chakra Pool Cave first, to get more Shadow Clones and cheaper ES, the do research once we can parallelize it again?

I think we should work on force dome and Air Leadening. There's little point in working on superchillers now; theyr're fast to research, if we need to, and I'd rather not be able to use them if we do not need to.

We cannot multithread without Noburi. So pick your poison. I think we want to be working on the seals we already made progress on.

But why don't we go there right away? We'll have to do the trip either way, and this way we get more SC Hours and more research done.
We need to be pretending to travel during this time anyway, not sitting next to Noburi in toad.

And staying put until the Exfiltration inturupts us means it's extremely likely that our research cycle is inturupted mid-prep, wasting several days.

Please send us to the Chakra cave now, and we can do research once we arrive.

If you'd like I can be convinced of Icarus runes, but I definitely don't think we should spend a cycle on capacitors until we're going to do something based on its veterancy.

So, Icarus -> Force Domes -> whatever else

With side paths of (if necessary) Superchillers and (if necessary) Capacitors.

I think it's useful to complete runes so that we can more accurately estimate project difficulties. It's literally 2 days. I think it's fine.

Capacitor was supposed to be part of the chain unlocking Sage Stones. Since we suddenly need those I want to work on them again.
