Sensei isn't necessary to bring in, but he could train us better and offer expert advice on unsealing Jaffur. Plus Seer shenanigans. On the other hand, that has to weigh against the fact that if he's too cautious or loyal, he could bring the wrath of Berra down on us. And if he doesn't, and Berra finds out he knew, he'll be in plenty of hot water himself. In other words, telling him not only puts the conspiracy at risk, but Sensei as well. I don't think the benefits are worth it.

Sooooo...
[X] No. Patriarch Yammar makes good points about his reliability. You don't really know him yet. ("Recruit Sensei Carrick" options are permanently struck from the yearly options and will not reappear in the absence of new information; your co-conspirators will respect your judgment as the one who knows this man most on a matter as delicate as this)

I like the text of Hopeful quite a bit, though I'm not keen on seeing what happens when someone doesn't live up to K's expectations. (It'll be good, though. Uh, character building.) Like @Deathbybunnies I'm a little wary of the name, plus I'm eager to see what else people come up with. (@Lailoken, write up Spunky! I'd so vote for that.)

-> one who wins

wondering what to say and how to.
This seems a little clunky to me. How do you like "what to say[,] and how to say it" or "what to say, and how"?

Specific, detailed, and focused. An excellent trait. That being said, in this case I have to shoot it down. It is specific enough that it shares the same trait-space as "A Cause" -- namely, it's a specific ambition towards which Kakara can drive herself. I keep those to a "one at a time" dynamic to avoid bloat or split focus. I will definitely keep the text of this one in mind, once "A Cause" is discharged, one way or the other, as something that may crop up.

Denied.

Shucks. Glad you liked it! Look forward to seeing it potentially pop up again.

Does the conspiracy already know how much we've told Sensei Carrick?

If they do nothing to bring him in, it's possible that Sensei will put together his own conspiracy, and we'll eventually conflict... of course, he's a Seer, so it may not be a problem

[X] "Hopeful" : Above all things, Kakara hopes and believes in making tomorrow better than today. All of the political effort, all the training, everything, it's not just about righting past wrongs, but about making things in the future better. Kakara believes this is possible. She holds onto that hope, uses it as the core of her drive to change herself and others. Not to mold them or force them or beat them down, but to lift them up, to perceive and strive for the hope that anyone can be better. Grandpa Gohan didn't have much hope for Jaffur, but he admitted he was wrong. Maybe what the Exiles need now is some Hope, a vision to be stirred toward.

All of this speculation about how much sensei knows makes me wonder how much seers influence politics in general.

How many seers are there again? Why haven't we been found out yet?

I'm just spitballing interesting narratives here. Don't take it too seriously.

Poptart stated that a sorcerer cleared Maya. She's not a Saiyan in a masque. However, if we consider that Yammar might not be the psychotic monster he's shown no sign of being, that leaves the possibility that he just really wanted to get the rebellious Saiyan society under control with a show of intimidation he didn't actually go through with. It's not like he'd be able to pardon an entire clan of Super-Saiyans and just leave them wandering around, anyway. So, make up a really intimidating story, get your most loyal subordinates to serve as "witnesses" to it, seal them, mindwipe them, add a compulsion against contemplating or believing anything Saiyan-ish, and let them live out their lives as humans. Maybe they'll have kids, but no big deal. The masques are so thorough that even a DNA test doesn't reveal them to be Saiyans, so the kids would just be humans.

-but inheritance is wonky, especially when you add magic and Super-Saiyans into the mix.

You told them everything, yes.

All of this speculation about how much sensei knows makes me wonder how much seers influence politics in general.

Maybe three hundred actively practicing Seers. You have not been found out thanks to phenomenal informational compartmentalization. The people aware of your Sight are: Berra, Kala (your mother), Raditz, Dandelor, Carrick, and Maya.

Not that I had approved that, but I suppose it's fine. I'll merge that into "Hopeful", or vice-versa if this picks up enough votes, given that in terms of how I execute them they're indistinct.

By the way, @PoptartProdigy, since this is the end of the year, did we have a sorcerer look at Maya?

In this case:

your Dad hasn't checked her to see if she's a secret Sealed saiyan like some people thought

He's been busy. He'll have found the time for it by the next post.

Yup. Turns out Yammar isn't such a bad guy after all, and we found out what happens when mind-wiped Super-Saiyans conceive children in their masques.

You are so interesting. :D By the way, if you want "Spunky" as more than a joke, go ahead and write something up for it. I'd be interested to see what you come up with.

Its a decision deciding things about a persons character those always get more votes than others.

For instance on SB I got to observe a full scale wifu war in there is no gate and the GG:CORE ascendance votes.

Over 100+ people came out of the wood work for each.
