    just for future notice When the QM gives you a flat, uncomfortable 'no' to your suggestion of 'how about they just murder some animals in a fit of rage?', you really don't need to drag out the discussion. No infraction or anything here, but we are making a note in case this sort of weirdness pops up again.

    • How many animals do you think that we killed blowing up that mountain? They tend to be inhabited.

    In his defense, the way you initially responded makes it sound like what he said. Yes, you then clarified that this just "moved things up", but after the semi-disasters that were earlier concerns about "the thread influences Kakara's thinking", can you understand the concerns being expressed here?

    Given what motivated me to change my approach to these situations, I frankly care very little about those concerns. My sympathy's all used up.

    Regardless, update is up later tonight, folks.

    Sorry, it's just that PMAS kinda traumatized me about quests with a MC that reacts to questers comments, nothing is the same after reading how the MC feels nauseous and sick of herself for thinking some things, just because some questers began talking about some very dark solutions to some problems. :(
     
    Wait, so is the thread discussion back to influencing what goes through our MC's head, but now Poptart cherry picks what they want from it?

    I mean, I'm fine with whatever Poptart wants, I'd just like to know so I can try to remember to sanitize my speech* from some of the things I'd rather not risk have run through Kakara's head. I can't remember it really ever being a problem here anyways, although that's probably me comparing to Poptart's other quest. Might have been because we had some idea of it from early on here or our first experience with it was a positive one -- don't know which.



    *Which really isn't too much different than voting in character here

    Probably a lot, although I'd say it's certainly less than how many die to feed Saiyans every year and I don't think Kakara freaks out at eating meat. But more relevantly, it could quite easily be fewer than how many might have died if she lost control and tried to attack Dandeer depending on where she was (since she would have needed one of the other Royals to stop her if she was stopped at all). Even more importantly, there was a chance she might not be able to hold back enough to not kill Dandeer (or worse, she managed to hold back, but someone else took the chance to try and kill her themself which could start a rebellion or even a full blown civil war).

    Saiyans live in a "world of cardboard" and that's more true for Kakara than most.


    And besides, it's all Dandeer's fault anyways :V

    No, the approach still is, "Poptart chooses everything on whim." Which may or may not include picking things for the thread, or may — if I may direct your attention to the post four above yours — actually affect nothing but when I present a given scene.

    If enough people annoy me about the matter, though, I could be persuaded to change it to all kinds of interesting possibilities.
