Spunky: People sure do call you this a lot. You're not quite sure what they mean, but you won't let that stop you from yelling at them for it!

Maybe three hundred actively practicing Seers. You have not been found out thanks to phenomenal informational compartmentalization. The people aware of your Sight are: Berra, Kala (your mother), Raditz, Dandelor, Carrick, and Maya.

Wow... we really screwed the PERSEC pooch on this one.

What reason do we have to keep it secret really?

Being openly revealed as a Seer makes it easier to get that political block on our side, and there isn't the same stigma attached to it as with being a Sorcerer.
Actually, there is a stigma attached to it - it's not as bad, but seers are known as grouchy antisocial weirdos.

EDIT: And of course, the only thing better than awesome power is awesome power the other guy doesn't know you have.

[X] "Improver" : Above all things, Kakara believes in making tomorrow better than today. All of the political effort, all the training, everything, it's not just about righting past wrongs, but about making things in the future better. Kakara believes this is possible. She holds onto that hope, uses it as the core of her drive to change herself and others. Not to mold them or force them or beat them down, but to lift them up, to perceive and strive for the hope that anyone can be better. Grandpa Gohan didn't have much hope for Jaffur, but he admitted he was wrong. Maybe what the Exiles need now is some Hope, a vision to be stirred toward.

Almost the exact same description, but less likely to be misunderstood.
Good Lord in Heaven give me patience, will you just back off already? I get it, you don't like Hopeful. I mean, Jiminy Crickets, can you just cool your jets on this for a cotton-picking minute? I am just beyond sick of this targeted campaign because, again, I am apparently writing WrongBadfunStupidthink.

I don't think that deserved that level of response. I am just trying to make things better.

And the fact that you think changing "Hopeful" to "Improver" is somehow "better" (while still using essentially the same text I already wrote, which Poptart explicitly said is just as or more important than the title), is half of my frustration!
You don't like my write-in, vote for a different write-in or QM-provided option! But please for the love of pancakes with butter, stop harping on how inherently terrible the Hopeful trait is, please!

If it was inherently terrible I would not have made improver. However I know she that ignoring you when the vitriol in your posts when you first started was a mistake. For it seems to have encouraged you to increase the levels.

I don't actually understand what you're attempting to say after that first sentence.

Look, I don't mind someone disagreeing with Hopeful or voting for something else. @Deathbybunnies offered some valid critique, though it seems his general concerns were fully alleviated by clarifications from @PoptartProdigy .
You, on the other hand, have been consistently highly negative about the trait I wrote in, hyper-focusing on the word "Hopeful" as much as anything, and seemed to constantly be willfully twisting and misinterpreting it in the most uncharitable ways possible, and then some, and even going to the point of saying "this is what this Trait means" even when I said "no it isn't", and have generally seemed to make it your mission to try and convince me and everyone else that Hopeful, specifically and only, isn't just "not the one I like the most or agree with the most", but that it's also Bad and Wrong and Bad and Stupid and Bad.

If that has not been your intent, then you need to go back and re-evaluate how you presented yourself, because that's how it's been coming across, and if you can't tell, it's extremely frustrating for me.

And while I have been pretty expressive and rather emotional in my responses, you don't get to make this out where it's 100% my fault that this dialogue between us has been going so poorly. I've tried to explain my side and why I'm experiencing the emotions and reaction that I am, and all I seem to have gotten in response is either that being ignored, or more of the same that drives the point home further.

Well this should make you feel better then. I was wrong about the effects of the trait currently named hopefully. The trait by description is a trait that I approve of. However maybe I have that trait as well because I always seek to improve things. I however lack the social trait so I come across as very abrupt.
