shouldn't this be 12? I did the math twice and it should be 12?
Seems like everyone forgot this canon side story, so here you go. It doesn't tell us much. Only that Demona still lives in New York and that Maxim Horvath tried to strike some type of deal with her.So, dunno if this has already been answered and I missed it, but what happened to Demona in this timeline? She can't have died due to being immortal and also genocidal enough that she wouldn't be laying low either.
thanks.
We can do better. And less likely to contemplate being Vanessivorous.

They are smarter then they look like the fact that it took them less then a day to learn the modern language and adapt to modern times with technology. The black candle....
Oh god, did we just let loose the Hocus Pocus witches?..... And is it bad I can totally see Janna wrapping them around her little finger and becoming the head of the coven?
Are you sure?We don't get +10 for several turns from a personal action. We might get +10 loyalty, but that doesn't cash out as a +10 on the die roll for character actions. The reroll from tinkering with inators CAN result in such a boost, but won't always.
The base roll for a National Action will be as follows, rolling against a certain DC: 1d100 + Relevant stat of Doofenshmirtz + relevant stat of assigned hero + trait bonuses of Doof or assigned hero + loyalty bonus of hero+omake bonus
That's a +10 on National Actions for three turns.[ ] Chat with the Bossman
Your employees are valuable resources in the pursuit of evil. You should see how they are doing. Choose a hero to spend time with. That hero gains a +10 to loyalty for the next 3 turns. This option can sometimes also lead to learning more about your chosen hero, possibly granting new traits or events.
No. We do not, in fact, try to recruit, ally with, or otherwise do anything less than having nothing to do with the Hocus Pocus witches. "Nothing", "Driving Them Away", or "Absolutely Annihilating Them" are the only options I will accept us taking. Even Evil Has Standards, after all.
The +10 isn't added to the rollAre you sure?

There's an advantage to keeping your heroes as loyal to you as possible. When making a roll, their loyalty will be reflected in a bonus modifier. A rating of -25 to 0 or 0 to 25 gives you an additional 10% of their relevant stat for that roll either subtracted or added, respectively. 25-49 will give you 15% added, 50-74 20%, and 75-100 25%. Numbers will be rounded down to the nearest whole.

Sounds profitable, entertaining, and approximately petty evil, let's do it.Then we sell tickets to a cage match where they fight each other to the death and the last one standing is doused in holy water like we're remaking Flashdance.
Loyalty bonus is a percentage bonus based on thresholds. 0-24 is 10%, 45-49 is 15%, etc. You can see it in the informational post on mechanics, in the loyalty section at the bottom. Are you sure?

I disagree. For one... how would Marco have gotten Star's wand? Either Star left it lying around somewhere, and he found it, or Toffee had it... and, yeah, I can't really see Marco successfully beating up Toffee so he can get the wand back.
"A week later, Marco went to check on her in her dimension. He came back three days later, looking like he'd been through a blender. He said that Toffee had taken over Star's Kingdom. He'd gotten Star's wand. And he said Toffee was already moving on the others in Mewni."
1 point of loyalty does not equal a +1 to any action that a hero is assigned to...

Okay, so Bossman would mean a difference of: 1 Learning for LOVEMUFFIN, 1 Learning for Vanessa, 2 Learning for Jookiba, 2 Learning and 1 Martial for Van Drake, 1 Learning for Queen Lizzie, 1 Intrigue for Tobe. Don't know about Agent Russ, Phineas&Ferb, Janus or Norm, as it's unclear if 25 Loyalty gives 10% or 15 percent. There's an advantage to keeping your heroes as loyal to you as possible. That...is grammatically true. I'd honestly want the QM's word on who she was talking about but without that I'll concede.Marco was the subject and Toffee the object of the sentence both preceding and after the one about Star's wand. It makes no sense for Toffee to suddenly become the subject in between.
Going to have to disagree.Marco was the subject and Toffee the object of the sentence both preceding and after the one about Star's wand. It makes no sense for Toffee to suddenly become the subject in between.
Sentence 3 starts with "He said", where the person who was talking to Janna was Marco, and then transitions to a clause where someone, namely Toffee, does something. So Sentence 3 reads:"A week later, Marco went to check on her in her dimension. He came back three days later, looking like he'd been through a blender. He said that Toffee had taken over Star's Kingdom. He'd gotten Star's wand. And he said Toffee was already moving on the others in Mewni."
I'm 99% sure 25 Loyalty gives the full 15%.
It has in the past.
