Personally, I'm just excited to have an enemy on our plate who doesn't want to commit warcrimes or destroy the world. This one'll be fun!
He's 1000% going to jailbreak Inquinator at some point, but I just don't have it in me to get worried about that. If nothing else, it might lead to a simple Martial challenge we could throw Hego out, which is fine by me. Let my precious boy Hego have his Golden Age fight.
Plus, while the Blot's stat-block may be spooky, a number of people have noted that we are uniquely well positioned to fight Blot, and boy are they right. Hypothetically, if we had a national Intrigue action to uncover the lair of the Phantom Blot, and we assigned Russ and Wile E. through the His White Roadrunner trait, we would be rolling with a:
14 (Doof Intrigue) + 38 (Russ Intrigue) + 3 (Russ Loyalty) + 5 (Secret Keeper) + 10 (Tooned In) + 26 (His White Roadrunner, Intrigue) + 10 (XP) = +106 (And maybe a little extra for Wile E.'s Loyalty, not sure if that's included.)
The Blot, for reference, rolled at a +85 this turn.
We won't always be able to stack every single bonus against him like that, but in a fight against a Toon Supervillain Nemesis in our own territory? If he's looking for a worthy challenge, we can actually give him one. And isn't that the secret to any healthy nemesis-nemesis relationship?
