honestly the only thing i want from bueno nacho is the resinafera toxin for improved pepper spray we can give the police in our territory that arent policed by norm bots

Also im pretty sure the experience from turning a failing bad pr restaurant like bueno nacho into something profitable would probably lower stewardship dcs

Edit: i mean thats logical right even if its a joke that would be the most logical reward right?

Toffee is an evil super-powered lizard from another dimension who wants to conquer earth.

Like anyone who doesn't know magic it's pretty easy to go 'he's a very powerful super with other mutated supers, here are photo's. As long as the "M" world isn't mentioned nothing magic can do is outside of people's worldview. Shego fires plasma from her hands and hired a portal-maker.
Yes. But on the other hand, Toffee has bullshit capabilities that are pretty far outside what most supers can accomplish. Voyd, famously, does portals, and does them well- but she doesn't seem to be able to portal across the continent the way a pair of dimensional scissors might. At a bare minimum, to effectively warn Shego against Toffee, we'd need her to know that he is ridiculously more powerful than any super she's ever come across, with a much more diverse powerset that can achieve results that don't make a lot of sense in her existing reality framework.

Unless we demonstrate magic to her, I expect this to be something of an uphill battle.

All of this seems prefounded on the idea that dimensional scissors can transport to a particular dimension with that level of precision. Given that, at no point in the show, did anyone simply scissor into Star's room while she was asleep and steal the wand, I find premise iffy.
Now THAT is a good point.

If my memory does not fail me Ludo usually Scry ed Star's location and sent minions to fight her. They usually end up within line of sight of her no? That means Scrying + Scissors works?
I mean, yes and no. It "works" in that you can use scrying and the scissors to send kill teams after your enemies. But it fails in that your kill team doesn't reliably get a surprise backshot on the target. They get a chance to fight back- and since Star kept winning those fights with the kill teams, that's a promising precedent.

As long as we're generally keeping respectable Martial badassery in the room with us as a bodyguard, that kind of attack probably isn't too much of a threat.

It isn't like Shego's unaware of the existence of magic. While usually she and Drakken's wheelhouse was more "mad science", she has worked with Lord Monkeyfist in the past and is likely to be aware of at least one totem of "mystical monkey power".

I mean, you can just hire firearms instructors in America? It might be harder to find one who won't talk about the fact that the trainees aren't human... but Toffee seems to have the means to deal with that problem, or his monsters would be almost irrelevant on Earth due to inability to operate in the open.

I think a good example of this with us is with Khan. People speak Medieval Mongolian, not a lot, and our ridiculous role to stumble upon Ludivine von Drake of all people helped it along, but fundamentally we can just hire someone. On the other hand, if we have to speak to someone with no translation available, we can put them through a more intense language learning course, people can learn completely alien languages after all, we can research the just-unlocked translator software, or we can possibly get a good Inator or magic or something. If Toffee wants firearms, he's doing the first. If we want robo-dino-cavalry, we're doing the second.

Lizards are cold-blooded, freeze him! Though we already used that inator to get revenge on the hot dog vendors. Still, there was the army of penguins with freeze-breath, so I think we can get the same effect twice as long as it's not the same inator.

Also, the thought of using cryostasis, the sci-fi gimmick that is supposed to allow people to live forever, to effectively kill an immortal, it just tickles my irony bone.

He's currently in that sludgy semi-liquid state, right? Freezing might work, but you need a way to make sure he doesn't magic himself out.
We should study resinferatoxin. Could be a good way to distract Toffee.

...I mean, there are worse ideas.

DC is owned by Disney

what
He kept telling people this, but they keep wanting to try.

It's almost like dangling something in front of people makes them want to do it, and then telling them it's all a joke and not to look in too deeply will make them want it more.
{insert sarcastic rant about how Tyrannosaurus Rex may have been a scavenger}

Actually, very recent studies of the Tyrannosaurus bone structure suggests that while they may be slow, they very likely had an absurdly quick turning radius. Given the large number of "slow but only armored or having weapons on part of their bodies" animals in the Late Cretaceous...

Heinz Doofenshmirtz, deadpan: "Oh no. An explosion. In my building."

Wile E. Coyote: "Whatever shall we do, sir?"

Truly, a conundrum.

Also depending on when she won it might have been due to magic. The movie, remember? Entire thing hinged on magic time travel.

Also don't forget that Drakken is at least descendant of an immigrant from Drusselstien!

So I was thinking about that 22 to 26 thing and I might as well propose the idea since I can't verify it myself.
What if it's a time mark for the scene of a movie ? From the twenty-second to the twenty-sixth minutes ?

Russ is supposedly an OC but if anyone mind checking the first Men in Black just in case ?
Goofy might be "A Goofy Movie" or heck even "Who framed Roger Rabbit ?" since he appeared in it and it's a fairly big part of this quest.

Aaaaand now I have a mental image of unicorn-powered tractors plowing Mewnian cornnfields...
No, but for one specific reason: Unicorns are plutonium. Millhorse-grade unicorns are a hard to manufacture resource that is a freakishly dense pinprick of arcane energy that you would rather keep for more important things like, say, levitating island fortresses or powering anti-cthulhu wards or just using as a reusable nuke.

They would probably be run by something comparatively minor. Like dwarf snallygasters or chupacabras.

What, like the Llama-powered tractors Yzma has in DVV Classic?

This is news to me! I haven't heard the bit about them having a superior turn radius before. Do you have any suggested reading to learn more about this?

Everyone seems to think this has to do with the Blot but Blot was not particularly stealthy or intelligent. 52 intrigue to me sounds much more like Rorschach from Watchmen. DC is owned by Disney so he could be in the quest and he isn't a toon so Judge Doom would be more likely to work with him. Rorschach is also an absolute justice guy, so if anyone would do dirty work, be ruthlessly effective, show up after a major villain breakout, and be "the worlds greatest detective" according to other supers and thus have high intrigue my mind can't help but leap to Rorschach. Of course I could be totally wrong but its fun to speculate.

Edit: just checked a couple more sources, I can not confirm DC is owned by Disney.
Dc is owned by Warner brothers. Marvel is owned by Disney

If we tell Xanatos that the magic masquerade is going to come down soon it could turn into a self-fulfilling prophecy. I'd expect Xanatos to make arrangements to bring down the masquerade on his terms rather than wait for someone or something else to force it open in a way he can't control. He might already have plans in that direction with the US goverment.

My plans to hybridize the Tyrant Lizard and the F14 proceed ahead of schedule? I mean... huh... they might actually be good at dogfighting.

Also, it's probably safe to assume it's the magic masquerade, but it's not definite. The fortune telling didn't specify which masquerade was going down and there's, like, 5 of them.

Now that I doubt. I'm sure he'd start preparing contingents in the event it DOES happen, but he's not gunna bring down the magical masquerade because we send him an Email telling him that a ghost queen from another dimension possessed one of our ninjas, and gave a prophecy after reading some tarot cards.

Honestly this Quest overall has either made me want to go back and rewatch old movies/shows, or add new ones to my (moderately long!) watch list.

We're not the only people that can use divination.
