I didn't say it was a worthwhile use of our time. I'm just pretty sure @Made in Heaven has never actually said it was a joke option, so if someone's going to claim that "it was said to be a joke option" I want to see a source.

There are plenty of arguments against Bueno Nacho that don't claim to have explicit QM backing, after all. Like the one you just made.

It was meant to be a "meme option" akin to buying Disney/Bethesda...dunno if that makes it a joke per se, though

That's not a source, you're just telling us what you personally believe to be true. My issue is solely with claiming to have WoG on your side if you don't actual have WoG on your side.

I'm not shilling for Big Nacho right now, I just want to see an actual quote from @Made in Heaven that Bueno Nacho is a meme or joke option to back the prior claim (which you didn't even make, so I'm not sure why you're responding) that Bueno Nacho "was said to be a joke option".

I am solely disapproving of the usage of false citations here. If you don't think the DC 425 Stewardship option is something we should invest in, that sounds like a reasonable take to me.

I don´t know where it was, but I am pretty sure that one of the two big guys said that stuff like Bueno Nacho was meant to be a meme vote.

Even if it isn´t 425 is still frigging big of a DC to surmount just for some dinky building-sized health hazard.

Do you really think that MiH would hide Hegos loyalty behind such a big DC?
 
Territory depends on influence, the Bueno Nacho is in Shego's territory.
It would be ironic if Hego of all people manage to take a part of her territory for us, but eh we warned her :

"Ah, Most Hated Enemy Shego! How unexpected! And by unexpected, I mean COMPLETELY EXPECTED!" you cried, whipping off your disguise. Shego blinked a few times in response to this declaration, clearly she was in shock from your brilliant misdirection. "How does it feel to know that you have finally been outwitted by me? For you see, now I finally own a piece of your home territory and greatest city! The single chink in your otherwise impenetrable armor has been exploited by none other than me, Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz!"

Shego glared at you, which meant that you were probably getting under her skin! Undeterred, you continued on with your declaration. "This is only the start of my plans to fully take over the Tri-State Area! It may be an uphill battle, but I will eventually turn this place into the greatest fast food restaurant of all time, and… uh… well, admittedly I haven't thought past that yet, but it seems like it's going to come in handy somehow!"

Shego's glare seemed to intensify as you continued on your motive rant, right up until her face snapped back to a disinterested expression as she cut you off.

"Uh huh, uh huh. Listen. I don't know how you do things in the 'sovereign nation of Doofania-'" she makes sarcastic air quotes as she says this "-but here, we have a few rules. Number one, we don't go after secret identities. That's the sort of shtick Syndrome would pull and then laugh about how they'd get ruined afterwards. Number two, don't write a collateral damage check your reputation can't cash. Everyone tolerates the games right up until some psycho vaporizes thirty people and gets everyone else in the state gunning for his head."

She stands up fully and fixes you with a glare sharp enough to cut steel.

"And most importantly, we don't go after families!"

"Hi sis!" said Hego, waving from behind you. "I don't suppose you'll let me join one of those superhero groups you have going? I don't know if I told you the last time I left a message on your phone, but I applied for a teaching position at Sky Hi--"

"They're not superheroes." Shego snaps to Hego. "So if you think you can perpetuate this 'rivalry' with me by doing something to him, then-"

"Oh, this is your brother!" You realize belatedly, imagining the large man in a form-fitting jumpsuit with black and a solid color. "I see the resemblance! He seems nice."

Shego blinks. She starts to say something then cuts herself off. "You… ugh. You really were here for Bueno Nacho, weren't you?"

"Uh… yyyyeah?" you say reluctantly. "What I'm hearing seems to suggest that you for some reason don't care that I am now the proud owner of-"

"No. No, I don't really care that you own the last building of the worst fast food franchise in the country. You wanna know why? Because it isn't important." She glances down at her nails idly.

"But… but this will be your undoing!"

"Yeah, right. What are you going to do, make me eat the quesarrito-naco special?"

She only has herself to blame ! :V

I'm just saying it'd probably help until the SRA gets fully repealed.
 
I feel like the memorial of Ron in the center of the restaurant is a very obvious clue that if we take the action, something related to Ron or Kim will occur. Also, I don't trust weredrago2. Half of what he says is in ignorance, and the other half is to mess with people.

Maybe if we fix up the restaurant then Wade will start showing up to pay his respects.
 
The Bueno Nacho DC is so high because it's a near-fruitless venture. It's more complex than taking over megacorps that dominate the world. Neither Kim nor Ron are gated behind it. Part of it is for the meme that Bueno Nacho is the worst thing ever, but it's not entirely useless so I haven't removed it. It's not going to be as useful as some of you think it is.

Edit: don't take this to be implicit or explicit confirmation that either Kim or Ron are alive or dead, only go off of the material in the threadmarks for that.

The other major problem with BN is that even with the most optimistic assumptions of -10 DC per action and the ability to complete it at DC 150, both of which are probably overestimates, we're looking at 28 turns of prep-work. That just isn't going to happen.

The only way I can see to even remotely improve this is either to just burn the place down (sadly not an option) or buy Skinner's company, who converted all the other locations. Unfortunately, Skinner is solidly the worst option for a buyout, since it's competing with muppets via Hopper, space via WyndComm, and occult via McFist.

so do you do rolls for if heroes have died or not or is it up to some narrative you make yourself?

Everyone seems to think this has to do with the Blot but Blot was not particularly stealthy or intelligent. 52 intrigue to me sounds much more like Rorschach from Watchmen. DC is owned by Disney so he could be in the quest and he isn't a toon so Judge Doom would be more likely to work with him. Rorschach is also an absolute justice guy, so if anyone would do dirty work, be ruthlessly effective, show up after a major villain breakout, and be "the worlds greatest detective" according to other supers and thus have high intrigue my mind can't help but leap to Rorschach. Of course I could be totally wrong but its fun to speculate.

Edit: just checked a couple more sources, I can not confirm DC is owned by Disney.
