If Dougal turns out to actually be Phantom, It could be the fact that this roll was a defense roll this time whereas that original roll was alone. He could have a trait that doubles on opposed intrigue rolls.

I'm so happy to see my silly but mean inator idea cause some havoc. Very much looking forward to how a sandwich proved to be the vital, missing linchpin to the hot new social media platform.
That or the sandwich popped into Ferb's hand, Phineas decided that, sure, now's a good time for a lunch break, and their work computer got run over by a stray monster truck or something. Anyway, looking forward to seeing what mayhem this'll cause.

Tbf, Technor is the main (maybe the sole) psychatrist of a powerful, multi-species and multiracial corporation, most high-ranking employees of which have loads of issues...of course we´re getting a lot outta him once we actually care about keeping our Heroes tended to.
I´d say so, since the main cause of their hostilities with Mankind is because of language barriers.
That being said, if we want to reach out to them at some point, we should send one of our AI Heroes to have common ground...maybe CJ?
Without knowing the source material, I expect him to be a good Stewardship/Learning Hero with maybe some notable Diplomacy on the side.

CJ isn't a hero unit yet, and likely won't be one until she becomes both a "person" by all standards of AI advancement, and has some kind of body like Norm.
Just send in Technor. He's a robot and our best Diplo Hero if we managed to remove his malus.

@weredrago2 I figured I should ask you first before I tag MiH since you seem to be a fairly active helper to the quest. To my understanding the above rule means that, regardless of the combination of method, 1000 XP is the maximum for spending on modifying something about a roll.
However, the soc-media roll has these:
The combination of the -10 DC (since the DC was supposed to be 90 due to +20) and a +5 modifier would be equivalent to 1500 XP spent. Should that roll be 72, or am I misunderstanding this?
It wouldn't change it either way since it'd still be a bare failure to then be worsened by the inator. Just curious.

Better this than something more valuable. The for want of a sandwich inator was designed to create a quantum sandwich that would strike at a critically inopportune moment. Or deliberately not show up when needed. But only in instances where not having a sandwich was the critical component to failing. We could have had this sandwich shaped sword of Damocles hanging over our head for turns, leaving everyone to dread our inevitable sandwichy doom.

Discord's been talking about time bombs lately. Some of which are Bill, Phobos, Derek, Obake, and the mystery one from the prophecy.
I'd include super super big doctor, but that's just personal speculation.

Damnit, of all the things it's the Social Media Platfrom that goes wrong for us? The cold war against ENCOM is going to shift further against our favor, and from the name of the interlude it sounds like Kat and their gang will also quickly take to using it as a method to further plot against and subvert our reign.
This isn't an immediate problem, but it'll be an uphill battle when we get to it. And we'll probably need to put hunting down Kat as higher priority than we wanted.
Beyond that, little surprised the Dinosaur Cavalry bonus is so small, but then again our PMC is not yet a large force. I was hoping for dinosaur mongols, but dinosaur mounties are pretty swell!
...I hope patterning our security forces after the Royal CANADIAN Mounted Police won't cause too many opinion debuffs in the USA.

10+24+38+5=77 would be roll, Doof Admin, P+F Admin, and then Loyalty bonus(15% of 38 is 5.7), not EXP bonus, yes? I think it's fine otherwise though, given Weredrago burned a thousand to lower the DC and the effects of Big Idea resulting in an effective plus 10 to the DC.

I see it as maintaining the ruse of Dr. Doofenshmirtz being incompetent. P&F are locally known and their engineering genius through the selectman board also. So them failing at social media will probably jsut be attributed to Doofenshmirtz. Which also give us an advantage in the social arena. Nobody will suspect anything dangerous being conducted behind their backs with such an obvious failure on their recent cultural consciousness.
