Janus Lee doesn't seem to harbour ill will towards us. He probably likes us better than his previous shareholders because we are better equipped to help him pursue his passions and more willing to allow him to do so. We probably just need to start progressing along the human genetics tech tree soonish to keep his loyalty.
Maybe utilize toon force in that the end result of their work is funnier that it's there instead of disappearing. Or magic.
Or put them on actions where it's actually a plus that their creation disappears or that it doesn't matter if what they made disappears.
Ex A machine that writes out in large (observable from Earth) letters 'Doom Sucks' on the moon would get rid of the machine but not necessarily the moon message.
[ ] Revamp Bueno Nacho
DC 425
Bueno Nacho is undoubtedly the most disgusting place you've ever stepped inside, even past that interstate rest stop right off of Interstate 80. The very foundation of the building seems to be permanently permeated with grease, the walls are so slick that they might as well be made of Teflon, and even the ceiling seems to be developing these odd stalactites that didn't seem to be there yesterday. That's not even getting to the food - the most defining trait of which seems to be how much grease it can disgorge onto the diner's table! Seriously, you're kind of worried to show Russ the place in fear that the Feds might invade to capture all of that valuable oil. And finally, the brand's reputation has been so permanently sullied that it's not even funny. At least your rations tell the people that the rat they're eating is farm-raised and sterile! If you want to revamp the place it's going to take some serious doing.
(Reward: Bueno Nacho becomes a passable restaurant)
It'd get rid of it and we could put something better in its place.
Or OR minimize the chances of failure through upping their stats and assigning them some help.

Idea is that Mewni Corn should be genetically different from usual Earth Corn after few hundred years and magic mutations. And that we could put our genetics on making something that could help us ruin Toffee's corn trade, like making a virus that would make his corn taste horribly, or something worse... Would be especially good if it spreads to other dimensions and Mewni itself. Another idea is modify Felldrake's popcorn spell to explode the corn supplies. Doing both could be fun too. Not to mention how we can expose that Seth Suppliers is commiting crimes by not paying transportation taxes through dimensional scissors. And if we get Xanatos and Feds on board too...
Okay, no matter what we do next turn we absolutely need to spy on our employees, Kat is potentially a huge problem that seems to just keep getting worse
I don't think spying on our employees is going to help us find Kat. He's got nothing to do with our employees, unless we talk with P&F. They'd probably tell us about him.
Also, I think some people are being too hard on P&F in this update, the one to blame is both Kat (if the interlude title is anything to go by) and the Inator.

so what, have either jumba or Felldrake make it so the corn comes alive and attacks people to both make people mistrust it and to have Tuffee spend tons of money to try and cover it up?
I don't suppose there's a link to join the Discord server? Also, we'd have to be verrrry careful not to fuck ourselves over if we go with that option. Magic is tricky.

Failure! Inator activates to reduce Failure to Miserable Failure!
Congratulations, guys, we just made a P&F episode. Boys have big idea, boys make big idea, big idea gets erased by an inator from the B-Plot, boys have a good time regardless, and Doof curses someone. Well done.
And, of course, most of the nation is having major food security problems anyway. Taking out a major staple might push us into full famine mode. I mean, yeah, we're evil, but...

Who needs crappy corn when you can have new, 10% more nutrious cricket floor im your closest Doofmart! Besides, we are the biggest food producer in central US. We were planning to expand variety anyway. (dino meat, wink wink) And who knows what Toffee adds to his corn...
Hey, Doof's big Stewardship malus is gone now! Hooray! Plus he finally has an occult stat, and two new hero units who can help with Diplomacy, giving Goofy a break! Goofy's loyalty has increased for about +15, once we factor in the removal of his malus, and we completely negated Doom's PR attack. All in all, I'm satisfied with how it turned out.
Also... LOVEMUFFIN? Really? The MVP of the update? Wow.
@weredrago2 I figured I should ask you first before I tag MiH since you seem to be a fairly active helper to the quest. To my understanding the above rule means that, regardless of the combination of method, 1000 XP is the maximum for spending on modifying something about a roll.
However, the soc-media roll has these:
The combination of the -10 DC (since the DC was supposed to be 90 due to +20) and a +5 modifier would be equivalent to 1500 XP spent. Should that roll be 72, or am I misunderstanding this?
It wouldn't change it either way since it'd still be a bare failure to then be worsened by the inator. Just curious.
