Okay, I'm pretty braindead right now, so... can someone please explain the tarot reading to me? Because all I heard was some mystical mumbo jumbo and suddenly everyone's talking about Kitsune and Go Go. I need help understanding what's going on.
This bit right here:
"The Princess represents a feminine influence, a powerful ally, or one with advice. It could represent me, I suppose, but… the demon is a sign of those mischievous and dynamic, pleasure-seeking, unspeakably loyal but possessed of a ruinous pride. In such a case, the ally might be another. Some great force that, if found, would simplify your task immensely."
Implies there's someone we can find or recruit that will make finding Star much easier.

Are we sure that the person isn't Doof?

Powerful ally ✔️

Dynamic ✔️

Loyal but prideful ✔️

So, the big takeaways from this were these two things?
A) Janna still has trouble trusting her friends at DEI
&
B) There's going to be a recruitment option soon that will make finding Star infinitely easier

I think Gogo is the least likely of the four I listed earlier, solely because of "she seems to be the least likely to have the tools to make finding Star easier."

Liv Amara and Shego both own Megacorps and have massive social influence, the Kitsune has magic powers and ties to the greater magical community, Gogo is just real smart and good at going fast (and also just got out of prison).

I like Gogo, but as far as "people likely to make finding Star easier go" .... she's low on the list.

Also, she seems to be the least ruinously proud of the options that aren't the Kitsune, who we know little about.

That's part of the reason I have Liv on the list at all, she is super loyal and she is crazy proud, literally everything she does is for someone else, and (speaking of the original) not many people think so highly of themselves that they go "I'll just inject myself with this deadly disease so I have a patient I can try to cure."

Celena Butterfly, also known as Celena the Shy, was the 33rd Queen of the Kingdom of Mewni, the daughter of Rhina Butterfly, mother of Estrella Butterfly, and Star Butterfly's second great-grandmother. She was burdened by a crippling shyness though the Star vs The Forces of Evil: The Magic Book of Spells implied that she was attempting to cope with it. She also had a love for creative writing and poetry, was skilled in potions, charm-making, and fortunetelling.

It is also implied that her father is Lord John Roachley which, if true, would mean that she was one of the few Mewmans on Mewni to have Demon DNA.

Of the current list is suspects I think we can strike Tom off because of the "feminine" part
Important part bolded.
I think that means "A feminine influence who is either a powerful ally or has advice"

Well she could have heard something useful in prison and she was at least too proud to give up being a hero when things went to shit

But does Doof or Janna have any reason to suspect that he even exists, much less is likely to be helpful?

Well, considering Janna being, by her own admission, "The Grand Poobah of Weird", do you REALLY think she wouldn't get Star to blab after a demon showed up at the school?

Que Star rant about Tom and his good and bad points and why she dumped him.

Lowkey, I do kind of want it to be Tom just so he can get annoyed at being called a "feminine influence"

Have you SEEN his obsession with small fuzzy animals? :p

"Uhh, excuse me?!?!" Tobe asked fairly frantically. "What is happening?!?!"

"Oh, you can still talk?" Celena replied through Tobe's mouth.

"Er… yes?"

"Oh, good." She said gently. "That means the chance of brain damage is almost negligible."
Darn it Celena, Tobe and friends needs all the brain cells he can get. I don't want to see what a Hero with negative learning would be like.
Edit: I misread that line into " "the amount of brain damage is almost negligible."

The most likely way I could see that happening, and to be fair I'm not omniscient, I could be overlooking things, is if Star decided to hide in the Prison City of St.Canard before the breakout.

Would actually be a pretty good hiding spot, but I'm honestly hoping Star didn't do that. Seems traumatic.

I did think of one other option in that Gogo went back to San Fransokyo and ran into Mina who might have run into Star or have an idea of how to find her, but, honestly hoping to avoid Mina here.

So, some good news that might have gotten overlooked, the presence of Celena's ghost means that, although Toffee has corrupted the magic of Mewni, he hasn't destroyed it, so no magical genocide, and maybe there could be hope of restoring it at some point. Also, Celena has crescent moon markings on her cheeks, the same as Marco when he uses Mewni magic, so...I have no idea what that means.

A new source of viable DNA to push Khan to 400% Khan.
