I'm not surprised that such a spell exists...in fact I'm surprised that its applications are limited.

Aww, they're getting along! How sweet"Listen carefully, Janna." Feldrake whispered. "I'm about to teach you the spell to summon popcorn."
Thanks for the confirmation, but I was wondering more about the person she was talking about in Janna's reading. The one that would apparently make finding Star significantly easier.100% Celena Butterfly
Edit: She is the one whose poem reads:
"What hides behind the golden fan
the hand does sweetly hold?
A trove of cosmic secrets
that never will be told."
She is also skilled in Fortune telling specifically Mewni Tarot card reading.
Obviously eclipsa- but to be fair the only way I know to summon/free her is to kill toffee so it feels a bit like putting the cart before the horse, but maybe we could magic/science up a way to break her out of her crystal and help out- she actually isn't that magically powerful, she never finished the training that lets her use magic without the wand, but she is clever, and talented. Also she is an "evil" character that is quite open minded, she won't be like Jumba and go "you outright called your company evil I am going to like you" but she would get along with Doof's laize fair equal rights approach to beinng an overlordOkay, any idea who this is?
Wait a moment, wasn't there a Kitsune in town that Janna knows?
EDIT: Ninja'd

.....
How the hell would getting Eclipsa, who is encased in a crystal in another world that's under Toffee's control that we don't know how to get to, be easier than finding the teenager without espionage training that's already in our territory?
Could also refer to Tom.....How the hell would getting Eclipsa, who is encased in a crystal in another world that's under Toffee's control, be easier than finding the teenager without espionage training that's already in our territory?
I mean, yeah, she fits the description. And yes, getting her would probably make finding Star easier. But actually GETTING her, unless the situation in Mewni is even weirder than I thought it was, is going to be pretty damn near impossible.
Actually yeah, Tom works. But does Doof or Janna have any reason to suspect that he even exists, much less is likely to be helpful?Could also refer to Tom.....
I cannot for one moment think he is not either stalking her or completely willing to help us find and help her.
Guy may have issues and be a bit obsessive but if nothing else he geniunely cares for Star
EDIT: I just realized that demon summoning is something Janna would be all for and she has a magical staff focused on dark magic.... So demon summoning to summon Tom?
I'm really excited with whatever Tobe and the ninja squad get. What?!" Tobe complained, restarting a two-way argument with a single mouth. "Why do I have to share cards with them?!?!"
"Well, uh. You four kind of strike me as a… package deal."
"That's fair." Jumong admitted.
"Are you ready then?" Celena asked, picking the four cards up from the table and sending them whirling back into the deck.
Celena took a moment before continuing. "The Princess represents a feminine influence, a powerful ally, or one with advice. It could represent me, I suppose, but… the demon is a sign of those mischievous and dynamic, pleasure-seeking, unspeakably loyal but possessed of a ruinous pride. In such a case, the ally might be another. Some great force that, if found, would simplify your task immensely."
"Listen carefully, Janna." Feldrake whispered. "I'm about to teach you the spell to summon popcorn."

(There's no scene change, but you can imagine the 'cut to commercial' moment)
---
Tobe's mouth huffed. "Oh, fine then. You may call me…" Tobe's eyes roamed around the room before looking upwards. "Ceiling...a? Gaahh! No!"
Janna shrugged. "Celena works."

Can I second that idea while making my Omake...because I'm headcannoning how Gogo got to prision.
Denial ain't just a river in Egypt. We need therapy for Janna, pronto, or I'm afraid she's gonna lose something important to her mental stateCrecentia thought for a moment. "You have lost a friend that was dear to you. You seek to have her back. And yet even as you strive to stand alone to seek her, there are others who seek to help. You are lying to yourself, ignoring your own needs to satisfy a fear of powerlessness."
The room was conspicuously silent.
"Woah." Biggure said quietly.
"I did warn you."
"Pshh." Janna said nervously. "C'mon. I'm fine. I'm totally cool with working with others. Look, evil staff?" Janna suggested, waving Feldrake up and down.
"Hey watch it! I don't wanna know what happens if I barf as a spell focus."
"See? Totally cool relying on others."
"Hrm. We shall see."
100% agree. I'm back to thinking Janna needs therapy in Plan: Doof VS The Forces of EvilOkay, I'm pretty braindead right now, so... can someone please explain the tarot reading to me? Because all I heard was some mystical mumbo jumbo and suddenly everyone's talking about Kitsune and Go Go. I need help understanding what's going on.
In fact, the only clear part of this was this bit right here:
