I will point out that the last time we saw Kat was when Hego saw him and thought he was going to DEI HQ. Granted, we don't know what he's up to, but if all he wanted to do was call in the fleets, he didn't need the superpowered cats to do that. And we can guess that he's sabotaged something else from one of the other rival reports, so he might be following up on that. Plus, as I think some others have said, Phineas and Ferb are going after Kat.

We felt that risk was worth taking, you didn't. I specified I don't care about Kataclysm. It's interesting to read, but it just has not sparked my interest for participation. This particular vote is just meh.

I happened to be right about it not being worth it to activate the Avatar. I would have been pleasantly surprised if Juniper had managed to activate it successfully, though a bit annoyed that it would cost Juniper's action next turn. As it stands, we spent Juniper's next action for giving Kat a +20 in combat. As it stands, this is basically yet another inator roll which purely ended up fucking us over.

Remember fellows, this is an excellent chance to boost our image and that of supers in general at a time when the Super question is very much a hot topic! If we ignore the public to get in a punch-up with the bad guys (Kat and the Golem) it plays right into fears about supers and makes it seems like we care more about a brawl than people - having Jumba, Khan and of course Doof out in the public eye fighting to keep the people safe would be a huge publicity coup for DEI and the anti-SRA movement in general. I also think it benefits us more to do damage control and keep people safe until Kat reveals what his master stroke is meant to be, then deal with that once we know what we're facing and we have all our assets protected and ready to bring to bear.

I do 100% get where you're coming from, but there are two alien fleets in orbit right now, and Kat still hasn't used a bunch of his stuff which Candace saw:

I'd rather try and cut things off now and hope that our PMC can handle the people than risk Kat's plan going through. Also, remember that we are still dealing with the statue.

I know...that would be the perfect time to push our image forward - but those two friggin alien fleets are very concerning...

Or that it didn't spontaneously fall apart in such a fashion that nobody would have believed it had happened in the first place.
