I'd prefer that we tackle the Avatar, then Kat, rather than both at once. The Avatar is currently giving Kat a bonus to his rolls, and I expect Kat to be the most difficult option even without that, so I want to make sure that Kat doesn't have that bonus before confronting him.
EDIT: Especially if we're splitting our focus, I don't want to double up on stacking the deck against us.

I was against it initially, but now I sorta wanna see what happens? We're seeing an almost worst case felldrake scenario. So I want to see how bad it gets, how easy it is to fix, and so on so we can figure out whether felldrake's avatar is worth using in the future.

So you care more about being smug to people on the quest than you do about the quest itself? Besides, nobody "knew" anything, except that there was a 20% chance of failure. We felt that risk was worth taking, you didn't. The fact we ended up rolling a 17 doesn't make the original decision to activate the Avatar a better or worse one, any more than choosing heads on a coin flip makes you a drooling idiot if it comes up tails!

if we pick NOWCA Monogram gets folded into them. Either way we have the same amount of Heroes. Except that there's some chance (QMs are still mulling over it) that NOWCA won't count against our cap. If you want to reduce our heroes? there's no choice that does that, but if you want to reduce our chances of running into the cap so that we can recruit Mezmerella next round and turn 4 capes into a Heroball that will reduce our heroes? NOWCA is probably the best way to do that?
