And so we somehow managed to get 625 on this, just to remind that he oa as strong as sticht he is just lazy and focus only on sandwich.

I think we should focus aside of kat in protect the public. Cat race are very destructive and the managed to take the version of earth in kit vs kat.

Also if we dont protect the public people are going to burn us.

Okay, we've had some discussion on write-on Nationals in the past while, so I'd like to thow a couple into the ring:

[ ] Organize the 1st Doofanian 'Strongest Under the Heavens' Tournament

The idea was first born when it came to your attention that quite a few of your employees enjoy the martial arts, so why not give them an opportunity to stretch their muscles and duke it out in an old-fashioned, consequence-free dustoff? Then Mirage heard of it and Marketing got involved, and now it's turned into a televised sporting event for any meta who enjoys a brawl to compete for a chance at a fat cash prize and the title of 'Strongest Under the Heavens'.

[ ] MetaOlympics X-Games Competitions!
Well, with all this talk of the SRA's you got to wondering: what about the metahumans that don't really fit into the "Heroes Vs Villains" dichotomy? What about the ones who want all the glory and excitement of Hero work, without the high stakes? What about those who want to use their powers to earn a fat paycheck, but don't want to deal with the hassle of being Villains? And that's when it hit you: Organized Sporting Events! All of the media attention and accolades, with none of the actual danger.

Just variations on a theme. Like the Split//Second thing, only, for metahuman showdowns in (hopefully) controlled circustances.

If we pick Avatar as the priority, or as one of the priorities if we pick two, could that be something that is attempted? Or would we specifically need to mention Juniper trying this as a write-in priority?
If you want Doof to try a specific tactic in doing something, include it as a subvote write-in under the broader 'prioritize the avatar' option.

If we're going for more specific deployments, I'm thinking splitting Doof and Khan to handle the Avatar, and everyone else after Kat

Khan is there for Martial plus occult, and Doof + Juniper could hopefully pull dance magic shenanigans.

As for Kat, Dennis has Have a Sandwich, NOWCA hopefully gets a narrative boost, and Jumba hopefully gets the same for knowledge on Kat's species. Plus if we can get 625 up and running hopefully we can throw his stat line at this as well. At minimum they should at least stall long enougn to bring Khan over

Russ said he felt oddly similar to the animal agents of OWCA/NOWCA compared to anyone else going to Vegas...

Hey, that gives me an idea. If Russ gets back from the dream world, and quits being an agent for the government from their betrayal...

He could become an agent of NOWCA!

What betrayal, how has the government betrayed him?

What, Dennis?!" You ask. "Why do you want him? Besides, he's probably halfway across the country right now doing who knows what he's up to. What, are you expecting him to just fall right out of the-"

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA"

What's black and white and red all over? A small monochrome duck plummeting out of the atmosphere in a ball of flame. With a cloud of debris the anatine asteroid crashes directly into Khan, who catches Dennis firmly in his arms. Somewhere, a farmer's wife has a passing moment of confusion before she continues running from invading cats.
Hehehehe, classic.

So looking over at the options presented, I do think we should save our citizens, look for Kat, and get control over the Avatar. Two of the three options anyways. We dont want our subjects thinking we're even more incompetent, not after Lovemuffin's rampage. A +25 to enemy rolls is friggin nasty, and we want that gone immediately. And of course, cutting off the leader should make it easier to handle the mooks.

Also I frankly don't care about the alien fleets right now. We have a US Government for a reason. Not like we can do anything about the alien fleets right now anyways.

What, did you think a perfect solution was gonna fall out of the sky?

"Awesome! What kind of weapons does it have?"

"It doesn't! Why would we need weapons for our skateboarding suit?" Phineas replied cheerfully.
"Besides, maybe we can talk Kat down. He's a good kitty at heart."

Candace thought back to what Kat had done to the rival dog cartel.

"Yeah. Good luck with that."
Woo-hoo! The return of The Beak! And maybe Dangeraph too!

Also, I don't think it's voting time yet, but I just want to throw this out there:
[] Plan: You too can defeat evil while dancing!
-[ ] Try to Find the Ringleader
-[ ] Stop the Avatar
--[ ] with the power of dance!

Not sure what to do about NOWCA. An extra Intrigue action would be great, but we kind of already have access to that with the Commodore, and we are struggling at finding stuff we can really pull off, so I'm actually thinking that we should go for quality over quantity.

I'm pretty sure if we don't pick protecting the public it's going to come back and bite us hard.

It's not a extra intrigue action. It's a extra action. In whatever we want.

Welp, considering what Co-QM said about Monogram's statblock remaining mostly unchanged, practically it'll be an extra action on Intrigue (18), Martial (17), or Stewardship (14). In fact, even with Stewardship being their lowest usable value, we could get a lot of mileage out of them by snapping up some of the low DC Income-boosting Stewardship actions we can never get around to doing.

That said, NOWCA is still a spy agency, so repeatedly using them for stuff like Colaborating with Smarty Mart will burn through Loyalty quickly.

That's why I don't want them as a floating unit, we used LOVEMUFFIN extremely poorly because they were a free action and I don't want to do that with Monogram.

Too bad it wasn't Janna controlling the avatar. Even that roll would be enough because she has Feldrake.

I think it's safe to say that the thread has learned from LOVEMUFFIN- if NOWCA starts expressing dissatisfaction, the thread's going to be more proactive about unruffling their feathers instead of saying "eh, it can wait a turn". Additionally, NOWCA doesn't consider misanthropy and arrogance to be requirements for joining, so they're going to be more patient about unpleasant jobs.

Apologies for the confusion, just to clarify:

Choosing to reorganize OWCA would turn Monogram into an OWCA/NOWCA unit. He would keep his current stats but gain a few small goodies and become capable of floating actions, which is the real prize. We're also debating making floating action heroes not count towards your cap, so your cap could actually go down in that case.
So, basically, it's a choice between a stat buff or an extra action? Or do we get an extra floating action either way?

We can improve Monogram as a regular hero unit (stat buff) or remove him as a hero unit and gain NOWCA as a organization with a floating action.
Thank you, that was my original understanding.

In that case definitely think it best to go for NOWCA - Monogram was always really a part of OWCA as an organization, and it seems fitting to revitalize OWCA in a sense if for no other reason than as a continuation of Perry's legacy.

[x] Two Priorities
-[x] Try to Find the Ringleader
-[x] Stop the Avatar
--[x] With the power of Dance Magic
[x] Create NOWCA as a floating hero unit

I'm voting the two priorities to be sub-votes of a "two priorities" vote, otherwise the vote tally won't be able to separate between people voting for both priorities and the people voting for just one or the other.

And the "Dance Magic" sub-vote is for the narrative/flavor explanation of how we'll attempt it.
