Hi! I'm enjoying reading this thread, but I do have a question. Where is the page with the other heroes? The Agent is missing from them and the others, despite having 28 apparently? On Von Drake's interlude right now, but still wondering.

Russ has been temporarily erased from reality and some people think it's funny to act like his erasure affected them too.

Wait. Why are we collaborating with what we know ooc to be a lady with a mind-control fetish to create an OS that'll be the only real contender to ENCOM?

Syndrome might have had a hate boner for Supers, but it feels like we've created a void that's being filled with a woman that's far worse.

Because it's not very easy to slip a mind control program onto an OS? Especially not with one of our people also working on it.

We are doing it for several reasons. For one, we know that out of character, so some people feel like using that knowledge is cheating. Another is that we've been having issues with the OS for the past three turns, over four separate rolls and people are Fed Up.

As for why we did the collab in the first place, uh, we really haven't been doing many collabs and they're neat. I originally wanted to see Wendy and Winston work together on Diecast Robotics but that didn't work out as you can tell.

A. Because I trust Alan to be able to catch on to that shit. B. Evelyn is a monster, but, next to Syndrome, she looks positively cuddly by comparison. She at least genuinely loves her brother, while Syndrome cares for nothing and no one besides himself, as Ms. Pena will tell you.

Going by the action description it seems to be something that they put as an option to score more points with us for their superhero thing rather than any enthusiasm on their end.

Because we want there to be a safe area free from the MCP and the Cy-Bugs. In all honesty I think it's smarter and more profitable to give up an OS war against an actual supercomputer but that would leave innocent AI to their doom so we use the collaboration to stack the deck to save lives and if Evelyne does somehow install mind control, well, the PR hit is an acceptable loss in exchange for saving lives.

I don't think it is an acceptable loss, the programs are of no value to us while our reputation is. It's an altogether unlikely loss though, Alan and TRON should be able to keep any traces of Screenslaver out.

If she wanted to pull that she'd be better served making an OS completely in-house where no outside coders would be snooping over her work.

I saw a post from way back when that whoever tried to assassinate Evelyn was Bellwether, I don't think that was true, but I decided to gather Bellwether's known actions into one place to guess what her stats are.

Zootopia State
[ ] Expand Zootopian Settlements
DC 85
73+34+18=125
This action seems like Stewardship to me.

[ ] Donate to the Judy Hopps Memorial Fund
DC 0
9+30+7=46
Mayor Bellwether of Zootopia publicly donated a significant chunk of her last annual salary to the memorial fund for Judy Hopps, an officer killed in the line of duty by a predator gone feral. The fund is dedicated to protecting more prey animals from the ever-present threat of predators.
I would guess this is Diplomacy or Stewardship. But neither of those really make all that much sense because of other actions.

Bellwether
[ ] Mr. Big crime crackdown
DC 120
2+5+26+2=35
Critical Failure!

To be continued in Interlude: The Tiger & The Shrew
(insert laughter here)

A hero with +26 Martial while she only has 5 Martial.

[ ] Push anti-predator propaganda
DC 100
82+36+27+2=147
Critical Success!

Mayor Bellwether has continued her by now predictable push to demonize the predators of Zootopia, to continuingly predictable results. The Zootopian public has been whipped into a frenzy over fear of feral carnivores around every corner.
This is why I don't think the Hopps fund was Diplomacy, this is six points above that. I'm not sure if she could have increased that much in the interim.

[ ] Repair climate control systems
DC 130
56+34+30+3=123
Critical Failure!

Mayor Bellwether's initiative to repair the various climate control systems around Zootopia has proven less than effective. Aging machines require parts and expertise that Zootopia no longer possesses due to the ongoing brain drain, and without them efforts to extend the lifetime of the already faulty systems seems to have only broken them faster. Savannah Central enjoyed 30 degree temperatures this week, leading to considerable public dissent.
This seems like Stewardship or Learning. Given the Expand Zootopia Settlements action, and how ridiculous it would be for her to have just 4 less Learning than Doof and 6 more points than Wendy, this is almost certainly Stewardship.

Martial: 5, with a hero that has 26
Diplomacy: 36, with a hero that has 27, might have been 30 earlier
Stewardship: 34, with a +30 and a +18 hero

That +30 from the Judy Hopps fund is still unallocated. We saw a Stewardship action from her so we can't say that she improved. It might be she has a malus for donating funds and other stuff like that?

Okay, there has been some interesting talk in the Discord.

tl;dr version of things:

Negaduck assaulted Toffee and stole the dimensional scissors, based on the rolls of the most recent rival reports. This is Negaduck's latest roll from there:

And this is the roll of the previously unknown party who attacked Seth Co during the Probabilinator turn rival reports.

Mild Success

Recognizing his talent for disguising insane scientific madness under a facade of reason, cooler heads in your administration assigned Janus Lee the unenviable task of reaching out to the United States government. A minor issue arose as you insisted upon a proper diplomat meeting your envoy, a somewhat touchy subject given the government's continued non-recognition of Doofania as a state, region, or coherent idea. A compromise was reached when Janus met with Dawn Folsom, Senator 'in absentia' for the state of Minnesota. As a rising star known for her strict demeanor and championing the cause of those displaced by the Midwest Dustbowl, Folsom proved able and willing to establish a basic understanding with the government, namely that no you will not be taking back the Doofania thing, but that DEI would be willing to provide various useful services to the government in… basically the same way your fellow corporate overlords already do. It's not the full recognition you were hoping for, they seem dead set on avoiding that for some reason, but it is something. It's a bit of an awkward arrangement, but it should be a workable one.

When Juniper let you know that you had an occult scientist right under your nose, you were understandably interested. It turns out that Gomez was already sorta working for you under LOVEMUFFIN, so all Juniper really had to do was tell him to move his office. He doesn't seem to have actually done anything when the rest of L.O.V.E.M.U.F.F.I.N. threw their collective selves off an overpass, so you're willing to give him a shot.

Gomez has been added to your hero units!

While you were busy with other projects, you assigned your interns the task of getting that old Greevil Energy campaign off the ground. You didn't think they had it in them, but Phineas & Ferb did a musical number that had the whole Tri-State Area conserving in the name of Greevil! You predict the city's energy consumption dropped to a fraction of what it used to be!

--[x][Intrigue] Investigate what's happening in Florida (Queen Lizzy) (57% w/ XP)

Bare Success

Lizzy's investigation into Florida was a bit weird. You were surprised to hear that she liked a lot of people down there for being 'agreeable' and 'straightforward', which you realized a little later probably means that they were all just as disturbing as she was. Harsh, but true. Their fashion sense was out of date too, with most people dressing like it was still the 1950s or something- so many fedoras. Bad memories.

Just when you were worried Lizzy would get nothing out of this, she informed you that she had noticed a 'real creeper' (again, this is coming from her) trying to be sneaky in the area and not fitting in with the usual aesthetic. He left behind a poorly scrawled note saying "Awl is knot wheel", which your cryptanalysts believe to be a form of secret code portending grave danger. Perhaps you should look into this.

Failure

Jumba was intrigued to be placed on the task of puzzling out this strange little object, whose confusing whorls and mysterious runes befuddled even him. You get the feeling that for a guy like him, it's basically a non-copyrighted colorful square puzzle cube. He seems willing to take another crack at it… after a suitable length of time performing Science!, of course.

You've come to realize that maybe Janna wasn't the best person to put in charge of your coven. While she didn't just ignore the project this is basically the exact opposite of what she's good at, and she wasn't exactly successful in organizing your band of assorted magic users into anything resembling a functional organization.

--[X] Goofy (Finish your degree online)
20

After a very long hiatus, Goofy attempted to continue his online degree. Unfortunately, after being so busy for the last year or so and everything else that had been going on, he didn't make much progress at all, essentially having to start his classes over from the beginning.

--[X] Genghis Khan (Study science and technology (154/200))

Temujin's studies have served him well. While he's still far from an expert in the modern sciences, Ludivine is proud to say that he is no longer baffled by the concept of telecommunication or space travel. He's well on his way to being a functional member of society. Poor guy.

'Artifact of the Past' malus reduced!

--[X] Hego (Do Good Deeds)

--[X] Dennis the Duck (Train with Maui Mallard)
50

Dennis pestered Maui for ages before the poor duck finally gave in and started him on an intense ninja training regimen. For weeks on end, Dennis punched logs and waxed Maui's surfboard, all amounting to… a slight improvement for the diminutive toon.

Progress revealed: 50/250

--[X] Max (Bond with Dad)
88

You allowed Max and Goofy to take a vacation last month despite Max having used up the last of his vacation days on a trip to Cocomo last November. The two of them took a wonderful cross-country road trip that was never once interrupted by supervillain attacks, insane shenanigans, or the most terrifying animatronic park known to man. While this is just a single occurrence of you doing something nice for them, it's representative of a broader company culture that Goofy truly appreciates and Max at least bears with.

Goofy quite enjoyed what was essentially a paid vacation and is a bit more loyal as a result! Goofy gains +10 loyalty!

--[x] Vanessa (Learn Capoeira)

Your little pumpkin's attempts to learn capoeira weren't the greatest. Normally you'd argue that anything Vanessa does is brilliant, but here… you kinda have to agree with the instructor, her form is all off and she only seems to have the barest of the basics down.

--[X] Tom Lucitor (Rule The Underworld)
No roll needed

Tom was off in the Underworld these past few months, tending to his duties as a prince.

--[x] Wasabi (Organize your Workstation)
69

Wasabi spent quite some time organizing his workstation, making sure all his pencils were sharpened to perfection and meticulously dusted, as well as bolting several objects to his desk to avoid any potential toon madness. Overall, it seemed to have a calming effect on him. You noticed that his eyes weren't twitching as much when he glanced at your 'Doofenshmirtz Evil Vending Machine' in the breakroom. When asked, he claims he is 'updating His System to work under unusual duress', whatever that means.

Progress Revealed: 69/150

--[X] Malifishmertz (Tend your goozim menagerie)

The miserable bundles of hatred weren't any more pleasant today than they were any other day. They weren't any less pleasant either, so you'll count that as a win!

--[x] Marco Diaz (Train with Macbeth)

Marco disappeared for several months to train with some weird old guy in New York City. He didn't tell you much but you got the impression that things went well.
