I'm...kinda surprised by Star's stat spread tbh. I was expecting more Martial and a lot less Occult since it gets hammered constantly in the show that she is really f'ing good at combat spells despite utterly lacking in formal training or basic occult competence. Powerful is not the same as knowledgeable, which, given that Occult is a Learning substitute...yeah. Off screen char development might have happened but this seems out of place for Star based on what I remember.

5) Whether right now, or with the free personal action from the retreat, Russ should recruit Fredzilla. Because I want to make my omake canon.

"But AProcrastinator; couldn't that omake become canon still if we recruit Fredzilla during a future turn?"

...yes, yes it could. And all it would take would be some minor editing of the dates, and perhaps an alteration of how I describe the weather in San Fransokyo.
Given the fact that Fred is the Ponyhead of Big Hero 6, you're going to have to walk me through why we'd want to recruit him.

Wait, that's unfair. Ponyhead at least had the excuse of having a family situation that was the Disney equivalent of a haha it's funny if you don't think about it den of vipers :V

Heresy. Absolute Heresy.

Fred is so much better than Ponyhead by the simple fact that he is alive and thriving. While Pony Head is Hoover Dam Dead.

I wonder if there's a way to expand the number of hero units we can have on staff...Other then Black Ops which squishes existing ones together, and saves on space in the process, one assumes.

Occult is...Weird. It seems to reflect both your knowledge of magic, and your ability to...Do it. Star is, in D&D terms, a Sorcerer, or Sorceress: She doesn't study magic, she just...DOES it, basically. I'm not clear as to what the Occult stat actually represents, but it seems that it reflects hands-on magical experience in addition to knowledge: Russ is very knowledge about the occult, but, not being a spellcaster himself, he's still on par with Janna who, no offense to the girl, is really just a beginner in the field.

Oh, you mean like this Stewardship action?
[ ] Solidify your Hero Structure
DC 100

So. Your bean counters came to you the other day with what they consider to be a serious problem. Apparently your whole system of assigning certain people chosen by you mostly at random to handle personal projects, often when said individual is officially an office intern, is 'inefficient' and 'ripe for lawsuits'. You don't get the big deal, but if the paper pushers really need you to you suppose you can find some time to explain to them how it all works so they can manage whatever it is they need to manage.

(Reward: Hero Unit Cap increased by 5)

My preferences are:
  • Let's have Hego Manage Bueno Nacho for once, he's tired of doing good deeds.
  • If we do the Spy on Employees action, use the Dickens, Kat needs to be found.
  • Don't send CJ into a risky situation.

Fourth:
We don't have many useful Stewardship options with a reasonably low DC right now;
A 48% chance of having some cyberdefenses is better than a 0% chance;
I'd rather take my chances with non-PA Security than anything else.

This is not a fair comparison. Fails are critfails. We don't get zero cyberdefenses if we fail. We get negative cyber defenses. Plans should not involve taking action on something that is more likely to be worse than doing nothing.

Okay, so this is a mix of all the stuff we can't fail. The idea is to take maximum advantage of crits. Now, Some stuff from other plans is missng, like DoofOS Security. That's intentional. I don't think I'm up for a 25% Chance of Crit fail on that while also losing 3 Doof Personals. Doesn't seem like a good trade off for this turn. You'll notice a lot of Lovemuffin actions in the personals. While I don't believe that this is a permanent solution to our Lovemuffin problem (there's a reorganize option right in the nationals that we cannot make yet), I do think it should help us Muffin in the future. I didn't Hire Dickens because they have a low chance of success in the things I want and they cost money. Excellent for doing things that need doing, sure, but not when we have high chances of failure and there's nothing that's both pressing and achievable.

As a stopgap on the DoofOS thing I'm sending in CJ. there was some talk on the discord about how the attack on our servers might actually be the "Blessing in disguise" prophecy taking place and that it's actually Vanellope. If that's true, then CJ is a good action to deal with that. If it's not? at least we'll find out who attacked us. We rarely get "Trap" personals, so my worst case scenario is that it drives down the DC on DoofOS next turn. Which isn't that bad. Inator Tinkering Is pretty important, especially on this turn. So is telling Shego. We could tell the zaibatsu? but our reelationship isn't that close. The Musical should help loyalty problems later and also, I want it.

On Discord the idea was floated that The Vanessa Choices are specializations for her. If that's the case? I want Magical Vanessa.

No quests this turn.

EDIT: Forgot Khan's Tech Malus. Moved to Supervillainy.
EDIT of EDIT: Also forgot that we have a Russmobile. Janamobile instead for Janus' personal.
EDIT Of EDIT of EDIT: Jumba's on dinosaurs now because With Ham being made canon by his stupid super power people we need a better meat source than crickets. Also, Janus and Roddy will love Cretaceous Park. AND Dinosaurs seems like an awesome insta crit, whereas superpowers just unlocks a tech tree.
SUPER EDIT: Added back in Locked out Personals since it's Resort time!
FINAL EDIT: Mirage is recruiting at SFIT rather than random Gacha

I don't know why, but I want this done so much.

Anything that moves us towards Drossel is a step in the right direction, of course.

This one was done at @weredrago2's request for a card. Hail to the new Huntsmaster.

Oh damn, but that crack under the eye means-
...oh.

Oh, that's just cruel, GMs. That's cruel.

The dead dragon skull on Thorn's head has a marking just beneath its eye that makes it look likes it's crying. Presuming that is, in fact, Jake Long, that's just mean, you guys.

Yeah.

Well then.

Another Crit Success and our OS goes down, which will happen if we don't boost it. A crit failure... and our OS goes down. I don't see how the failure state is that much worse. Like, maybe our defense drops to 90 or 70 or even lower but 110 wasn't enough anyway and it's a crit anyway.

Here's the issue. A critfail and our OS could go down. But there's been radio silence from the QMs as to the effects of another crit success on our OS. I suggest Sending CJ to stop any enemy Crit Successes. There's a big theory that the person attacking our OS is actually the blessing in disguise from the prophecy, that is to say, Vanellope. Lets spend this turn stalling with CJ, and getting the tools (SHV) we need to fix this rather than flailing wildly.

No there isn't, because it doesn't make sense.

The only way Vanellope being involved makes sense would be one where the importance of doing Cybersecurity is intensified.

That makes no sense. Do you have any evidence for this theory?
