I thought the same at first but hear me out. Doof is a genius who grew up in a very bad environment, there are probably significant gaps in his basic knowledge.
It isn't an option that can be targeted. On the other hand, Ludivine's action is.
I'm not sure that's true. Apart from the fact that Doof seems to at least partially run of comedy if he doesn't know there's gaps in his knowledge he won't take steps to correct it.
I'm sure Dance Rituals are a thing, if only for the image of everyone at Doof Inc. dressed in brown robes and cowled faces - your typical cultist fare - only to suddenly break out into an impromptu dance number alongside an Eldritch chant.

It's possible... but Technor's used to working with supervillains, and is one himself. He's probably very good at convincing egotistical maniacs who don't think they need therapy that it's not a slight against them.
Perhaps TECHNOR can psychoanalyze them purely through observation, without them ever finding out.
