No, it isn't. I'm asking you to strike them out for the following reasons.

  1. We have stated many times (every time it came up) that 2017 Ducktales is not the main source for Gridlocked. The duck comics are. We used Storkules as a gag but I don't believe we are using Lena.
    • Gosalyn is not an original Ducktales character, so you'd might as well fold her and Kit into a single Disney Afternoon section with Ducktales characters.
  2. Sam Flynn could not have been born if the MCP is in charge and Kevin Flynn never returned from the Grid to have sex. Also he'd be an adult if we was around and therefore not a traumatized child.
  3. Using any Ghibli is already controversial due to conflict of tone and cohesion. I prefer you not give people the idea we are using the entire Ghibli library when Nausicaa is already on the fringe of being removed.
  4. Sonic showing up in WiR does not make them a Disney character. Same for Tails. Wile E. worked as a reward for the Acme crit but trying to make jugement calls on every game character would get exhausting fast.
    • That said, I used Wario for an adventure and it was pretty funny.

Are DVV's admins (or whatever) considering removing Nausicaa from Gridlocked?

In any case, don't get what you mean by "conflict of tone". Not like some of the other settings featured aren't dark and/or serious stories.

I only commented on the most egregious ones. The rest I skimmed over/ignored because I don't know or wasn't interested in discussing.

Its come up now and again. Nausicaa was added in as a potential space filler in the Wasteland parts of the map, but it clashes significantly with the stuff around it. The placement of the Sea of Corruption itself is suspect. Did anything about the Japanese post-apocalyptic sci-fi movie strike you as being in the Midwestern US? We had more leeway with Fireball because its a comedy but that definitely isn't the case here.

I'm curious as to what is being considered to replace Nausicaa in the Midwest. I always found it a little odd but I usually just shrugged my shoulders and rolled with it. Have the rest of the BnL Wasteland fill it? Have KaneCo cover all of Michigan?

I think she's probably still interning at Sycorax, actually. Not out of any decency from Diane or anything, but her monsterification in canon came about under very specific circumstances; namely, she had already done all the work that Diane wanted her to do and represented a way to obtain the services of Hiro, who had the neccesary skills to finish the work. And, crucially, this happened as she was running out of time, because it was more of a panic decision than a well thought through cost-benefit solution; she probably could have gotten Liv cured far more reliably by just leaving Karmi be and having her get Hiro to help her.

Here, none of these are the case; Big Hero 6 doesn't exist, she doesn't seem to be almost at a cure, etc. Even if Karmi isn't able to help as much towards the cure as in canon because of how Hiro's changes have in turn changed her approach, she's still a very talenter biotechnician and geneticist that offers valuable commercial opportunities to Sycorax, and thus gets her closer to a cure from that direction.
 
Alright, so we've agreed for Diplomacy actions next turn to do a Reach Out with the other party involved tbd, and if the DC isn't too high a collaboration with Shego on dealing with the drug ring. Fantastic. While we should definitely at least check out the new Diecast Robotics action, as well as any other possible new actions unlocked, can we agree on having Blair do the dinosaur entertainment? His bonus should apply, and I'm excited to see how a critical success will affect the rewards!
