Wheel Not Gonna Take It
Impressive. Very impressive! I don't know the source material much, but this was definitely enjoyable to read. Always nice to see things from the others' point of views.

Also Toffee really gets around. Hm. I don't think Duke would know exactly what a Toon is if they've been isolated in the Wastelands ever since the paradoxes all formed, but I could be wrong.

There may be Toons in the wasteland with them.

But seriously. We wanted a project to work with Shego on, right? The Wasteland might be it. We provide the transportation, she provides the muscle. Sure, she probably wouldn't want to do anything unless it affected her business, but:

1) the drug dealers tried to make a fool of her with the High Command;
2) if they pulled that shit once, they can do it again, best to get rid of them now;
3) they hurt Hego;
4) a nice opportunity to step out of the office and blow up stuff on an environment where property damage genuinely does not matter;

This is pushing enough of Shego's buttons that I think we could convince her to participate. She can field a lot more Martial heroes than we can, so her people can take up the Martial slack which frees our units for prioritizing Learning.

We already have the drug cartel as a project to work with her on. The Wasteland itself is likely to be unappealing to her for the same reasons that she let the cartel get this bad to begin with.
Unless I missed something, the Cartel is in the Wasteland. Here, let me find the quote:

Location of the hidden drug cartel cells discovered! They have used the destruction of High Command to disguise their relocation to the Wasteland, where they are harder to find and almost no one is likely to wander by them! The Wasteland is huge, so it won't be very easy to track them down!

If we (and she) want to systematically dismantle them, we're going to have to go exploring the Wasteland first. That's what I was suggesting collaborating on, basically.

As the drug cartel is in the Wasteland, it is no longer Shego's problem. She may or may not be interested. Either way, I don't think the suggesting party gets to decide what the collaboration does. That's why we get to decide what form the collab with Doom will take, that's why we don't have a write-in option for the product of collaboration.

While Shego is pretty lazy, there are few things we could say to convince her:

1) Hi-Command is a ruse, they're still at it. (May appeal to her pride as a villain/ceo)
2) They're operating out of the Wasteland; will still probably distribute around her area of influence. (Could go either way, she could assist us in exploring or declare it's not worth the effort since they're not being that visible.)
3) They hurt/drugged Hego. (Will probably anger her. She's unlikely to get mad at us since we didn't even know what was in the Wastes in the first place.)

Shiv decided that after all that, he needed a bit to eat. Out of all the places he could have ended, Shiv quickly learned, much to his rapidly mounting distress, that he had jumped out of the car right in front of the only surviving Bueno Nacho in existence.
OH NO!

That quest was a little underwheming, though it unexpectedly DID advance the drug cartel plot.

Hmm...actually, would it be a good idea to try and collaborate with Doom on something next turn? His offer is still on the table, and he may decide to start talking about it soon. If a success on collaboration opens up options, then surely a critical success there ought to make the options better from our perspective, right?

As long as we make a documentary on Darkwing Duck, then I'm cool with that. That's the kind of project that will drive Doom nuts.

If we are trying to work with someone, I would much rather work with Shego or Xanatos over Doom. Or work with Khan.

If he does talk about it this turn, we could just send Kitsune to deliver a politely worded no or something.

Doom will refuse on that, out of a desire to not be viciously chainsawed to death in the middle of the night. Furthermore, that would be a PR win for Doom because he could paint us as insane and maybe even make us a target for Negaduck, if he rolls well enough.

Anyone have some sort of Dream Team in mind for exploring the Wastes?

I'm thinking that we should put Wile E. Coyote and Agent Russ onto the quest the next time we do it.

Russ is a high opportunity cost for something like this. But no, no one springs to mind.

One idea that has been quietly processing in the back of my head is that maybe if Lizzie came back with her digging tech researched, she could tunnel through, or make underground bunkers to spend the night, making the whole trip less bloody awful.

Edit: We know Technor is no good because his chair floaters get clogged up.

Not Russ. The wasteland is a government masquerade, he's not going to want to give us info. Assuming we don't have FP Technor available, Wile is still probably our best option; we could go khan, but his maluses seem likely to come into play, so that'd probably want to wait until after a few more personals from him.

Coyote (Leader, Martial 25, Diplo 16, Stewardship 22, Intrigue 16, Learning 21, Occult 0)
Jumba (Martial 18, Stewardship 16, Intrigue 13, Learning 25)
Norm (Robot! Martial 36)
Kitsune (Occult 20, Diplo 26, Intrigue 20)
Dennis (Emergency Food Supply which helps Jumba)

So that would be: 61 Martial, 42 Diplo, 36 Stewardship, 36 Intrigue, 46 Learning, 20 Occult. Which isn't a bad stat layout? We could get higher stats, but I want food, and I also want Robots.

If you want robots, why aren't you sending a roboticist? It doesn't have to be Wower, but someone like Von Drake or Lizzy would also work. As is though you're relying on Wile to do the heavy lifting in any robotics learning, which he is passable at. Von Drake, for instance, would add 15 Learning and free up a slot for a stewardship hero like Hego in place of Dennis.
