My comment was more along the lines of 'a lot of people thought that the Wasteland wasn't that bad'. I didn't have a reason to correct everyone without spoilers up until this quest.
Yeah, I was just deliberately pretending to misunderstand in order to shill for an action that caught my interest.

Edit: in a comical way. Wasn't trying to put words in your mouth or anything.

is any ideas what happened too Motercity? my guess is in the season finale The Duke never had his change of heart and decided run away instead of helping out the burners so they lost and Kane now owns all of Detroit.

It wasn't really that bad of a quest.

At most I think we may have missed 3 things. Well 4 if you count the occult check.

The first stewardship check to find cover, the fight with the druggie destroying the drugs, and the druggie escaping.

This wasn't going to be a huge long quest so the rewards we got feel about right. We would probably have a lot more if we crushed every check but those are the dice.

We've gathered enough intel to come back later with a stronger team and possibly a better vehicle.

Also, Motorcity probably got destroyed, but since the Villains never fully win, it's possible that the Heroes (including Kane's daughter) are still running around somewhere.

We're probably going to want to get Coyote an Occult stat some time soon. He is one of our best Quest leaders.

I don't know how we would accomplish that, but we'd probably want that.

Maybe we should collaborate on roof mounted lasers with Shego next turn?

With the crit success we might be able to shoot down all the drones as they fly over her territory.

...Since we are based in Washington we may be able to lean into the Native American Coyote folklore to get him an occult stat. We already have one trickster occult specialist in Kitsune, a second one might synergize well
Thinking about it, based on the cave paintings in gravity falls, native american magic might be a way to counter bill. The prophecy was written by a native american shaman after all

Wil-e doesn't have much "trickster" energy going on. he's more of a... spider -ish person, weaving complicated plots and traps.

....Coyote, the mythical one, himself is a pretty decent mix of the plotter-type trickster and the prankster-type trickster. Pretty sure he at least once made a plan that took a whole human lifetime to accomplish. Wile E. can lean into that while also learning to be more spontaneous from his rival/friend/beep beep, The Roadrunner.

I was surprised by how people thought the wasteland wasn't going to be that bad.
Meh. I didn't think the wasteland as a whole wasn't going to be bad, but I did think this was going to be a mere scouting mission with relatively little importance and danger until we do more recurring expeditions in to the area. I was quite wrong on that account. Even the first scouting mission gave far more information than I expected.

I think Wasabi would be good for roof mounted lasers. The aliens from lilo and stitch use plasma weapons which we stole and reverse engineered. He was great for Khan due to having to deal with plasma.

How many hero units do we have compared to say Shego or Doom? Thought just crossed my mind and I had to ask.
We have no idea, but I at least suspect we're in the strong majority, what with the hero recruitment rate that we have and the fact that we've seen opponents recruiting on rival actions like, three times at most among the entire cast.
