@Academia Nut Trade Chief: which of our provinces have the best roads? Which have the worst? In comparison to other lands, how would you rate our roads? How much wine do the Hathatyn produce, and how would you say it compares to ours? What color of dyes do they sell and how long do they hold? How do they transport this wine? This dye? How do we? How long does wine from each country last? How much do the Hathatyn rely on the sea?

War Chief: How easy has it been for the Marches to fend off the nomads? Could one March do it alone? How big are our horses? How good are trails for transporting warriors and their supplies? How often do the cart warriors train and in what manner? The yeomen? When warriors fight, what do they fight for? Do the yeomen's reasons differ from that of the cart warriors? In what order of priority do the men value prowess of the body, bravery, effectiveness, loyalty, and deadliness? How good are we at fending off sea raiders?

Spirit Chief: How do you feel about cow goddesses? Do people think of this land as united? When they think on this unity or otherwise, what do they think of first?

I really don't like Fertility
You can vote for all 3 other options if you want.

I'd just really like to get started on the Saltern. The provinces can almost certainly finish it for us, right? That'll take us to Dominant for trade. Whereas we don't know what we need to get to dominant in any other trade good.

The provinces likely have a better idea of which trade goods would be easiest to dominate. We have been told that provinces will try to dominate a market if they think they can. Starting a golden age gives massive benefits.
The provinces definitely won't finish the Saltern until next turn, and its benefit is equivalent to getting a golden age but without the innovation rolls. Edit: specifically, +1 stats/turn.

That peopl hurts me too

Honestly this time is nowhere near the tax troubles by any means.
I said since. Not including. And the first bit was a joke I decided wasn't funny enough to tell half an hour ago, and accidentally rode along for the ride. Whoops.

Sadly no one wants to build docks so changing my vote.

Anyone thinking about wrecking the DP's golden age so they are forced to wage war in order to expand (and not die)?

It'll be pretty easy, actually...we just need to muscle in on their monopolies and trigger their trait.

If we do it enough times (probably 2 since AN said the con was pretty nasty), they'll drop stability and lose their golden age. And since they lost it because of their stability being shit, they'll be in an awkward position if they have to make stability hitting decisions. For them, it'll be a choice between building martial, waging war, or building stability.

Why include it if you don't want a comparison to be made? We're in an extremely non urgent period, imo. Unless the HK shatter.

And no, I like the XS. I do like pottery tho

It was in context of that discussion. I'm saying that our opportunity costs for actions are the highest since then.

And herein lies Chaos. They might be keen to cooperate with their Thunder Horse master, rather than rebel. But at the same time, not being able to conquer lands mean that they are basically stuck, population wise.

Mm. No. The context of your argument would at best point to you saying waiting for perfect is better. It's not like you pointed out what opportunities it would cost to undertake. Simply that doing it now is inferior.

I agree that Study X is a dumb choice, though.

Depends on province, and how you conceptualize 'forested'. Sacred Forest, Redshore, and Southshore and basically fully forested, while Valleyhome and Northshore are something like 25% "forested" but that's pretty much all orchards and bocage and there isn't much more room to plant forests without planting over agricultural land. The rest of the place is currently bad terrain for significant forest, although Redhills might be able to be more extensively forested.

So, Black River, Stonepen, and Redhill are amendable to forestation? The rest is bad terrains.

I guess we have to increase the defensiveness through regular old walls and watchtowers.

Never been more glad to be wrong.

So, our problem with Northshore and other provinces is that there are vast interior space that we can't forest, because there's no water, which means that the place will stay dry because we don have forests which act to bring more water in.

The solution to this problem would be to build an aqueduct so that we can forest the area, but it seems to be only limited to cities.

[X] Improve Annual Festival x2

Improve Annual Festival - A festival for every season, but their expansion can help put the People at ease and teach good practices.
* M: -2 Econ, +1 Stability, +1 Art chance for additional effects
* 2M: -3 Econ, +1 Stability, +3 Art, chance for additional effects
Special: Due to acquiring a new luxury, the Improve Festival action is currently twice as action efficient (1S = 1M, 1M = 2M)
+ 2 stab and lot of art we may be able to start a new golden age

Guys, why is nobody going for double Main Festivals? It will be our first opportunity ever to do a double Main action for the price of Main.
It will give us Art, which is pretty good *and* synchronizes with Goddess of Fertility being central to our first temple (fertility festivals?).

It has some 'additional effect', which may well be better oral tradition.

Oh hey lookie I made a arty.

Spider Eyed Crow and Fythagyna and The Boon.

@McLuvin this is your fault. I'm so happy though, this came out okay and not a stinking pile of doo-doo!

Also not my final design of Spider-Eye Crow. That is gonna take a while. In case you note any similarities, his posture is based on No-Face from Spirited Away.

Regular Main has additional effects as well. I will take my science when I can >.>
