This is very nice to see! Noburi can do so much more with this upgrade to his Medical Ninjutsu skills and these buff stunts.
Quick question. If we want to combine this with Chakra Scalpels (which in relevant situations grant +AB to Medical Ninjutsu), which of the following buff combination stunt would be most appropriate?
- Chakra Scalpels + Vampiric Attunement/Would You Please Calm The Fuck Down Technique/Fuck the Please, Calm The Fuck Down Technique
- Chakra Scalpels + Water
By the way, look at how high Noburi can now roll at!

I'd strongly prefer we not try to get the pool-effect right before combat. Save that for after we've done experimenting in a secured space!
What if making everything cost less chakra interferes with our ability to cast or chakra boost until we had time to adapt?

How about having them test if there's any weakness resulting from the effect? What are we expecting here? Like something only the chakravores can hit?

I could easily see how a phenomenon that makes our chakra substantially more efficient could interfere with our ability to cast or chakra boost until we had time to adapt.
@Velorien @eaglejarl @Paperclipped would that make sense in-character or does chakra not work like that?

- Once the chakravores have been exterminated, return to the grotto. The research team (Noburi, Hazou, Kagome) will, using Vampiric Dew, chakrascope and MS8...
- Examine everyone's chakra system and chakra regeneration, before/during/after they enter the pool. Have unaffected people make SCs and test the effects on them.
- Summon someone and test the effect of the pool on Summons. Same monitoring protocol.
- Noburi, can you tell the difference between human and nature chakra here?
- Noburi goes in last, he should first discern if the pool would have a deleterious effect on his chakra system

- Water Rune, Chakra Soothing Rune, Soothing Field Rune, and Crystal Recreation Rune
- Do additional prep days if Noburi/Kagome have alternative ideas
- Get Noburi's help with the prep days.
- Start FOOMing with spare chakra from pool savings

It might not have made a difference to someone with his shaping skills, or it might be something you get over quick enough that it wasn't worth noting. I can think of a bunch of reasons why it wouldn't be noted.

Orochimaru has Orochimaru biology, and also he visited this cave years ago, and also there's a sliver of possibility that he lied to us for some reason. For all we know, the cave water is currently full of poison (edit: actually that'd be excellent; poison potent enough to affect ninja? hell yes).
I don't think any of this is likely, but it just seems prudent not to immediately feed the entire team some weird substance we found, even if a credible source claims its effects are purely positive.
It'd be worth it if we needed every edge in combat we can get, but we don't, do we?

Mari and Yuno have damaged chakra coils (OOC: Medium Consequence) but are recovering quickly with Noburi care and should be fine in a few days. The full team is here with you.
Chakra boost is extremely simple from a user perspective and will probably be fine. HDK about casting.
