I'm pretty sure we do know, though. For one thing, Bosses can prevent you from leaving the 7th path. For another, you can stay on the 7th path pretty much indefinitely (I mean Kei stayed there for like a week). Summon constructs require maintenance. For another thing, Hazou received physical injuries from reverse summoning after looking at the Great Seal. If he were just meditating at home he wouldn't have been capable of doing this. Lastly, the QMs made an official ruling within the past month or so stating that if the space you reverse summon from in the Human Path is occupied, "Bad Things" happen, meaning your body disappears completely.

@Shrooms Here's a very wordcount optimized version of your plan. If you adopt it, I'll vote for your plan, otherwise I'll put it up as a competing plan, though it contains essentially the same scenes so I think there'd be little point.

Kagome:
  • Between other scenes, assist with Rift analysis seals until completed.
  • Ask about:
    • Hazou's experience of Dragon Aura. Did the Sage make them from the Out?
    • Nekkar implied a greater threat. Does the 7th Path have other weapons?
    • Jiraiya killed the Squirrel Summoner a couple years ago. Were there hints of this in his notes? Could we look through them?
      • Declare: Jiraiya, unwashed bachelor, left his clothes from that day in a storage scroll, marred with his blood and the Squirrel Summoner's.
Cannai:
  • Thanks for the Bison, starvation in Leaf has been temporarily stayed. How can we repay you?
    • Can we arrange regular trade?
  • How did the Conclave go?
    • Relay Ami's idea for safe passage.
  • Bear Scroll update?

  • Nixed Canvass scene. We can just ask Cannai directly for his best trackers -- he understands the gravity of the situation and would likely help us negotiate a contract with them.

None of the sheets have XP from Chapter 453.
Neither Kei nor Akane have SC XP from Chapter 453 (+9.6 and +8.0 respectively).

Akane's XP total cell (T1) is SUM(T3:T190) rather than SUM(T3:T), missing out on ~2.4k worth of XP awards.

I implemented everything else but since i had the word count left the Canvass part in. I was intending it to be part of a single Dog scene and i think it would be rude not to follow up with her before asking Cannai for someone else

One thing I don't understand is what "declare" means. Who are we declaring it to? The village? The clan? The tower? Why are we declaring it.

Pretty sure that's a game-mechanical Declaration. I.e spend a Fate Point to have a statement be true, subject to QM agreement.

  1. They have different levels of Resolve, which is the operative number. In particular, Kei is at Resolve 42 and Akane is at Resolve 39. Ordinarily, a difference of 3 would be a difference of 0.1 (1 training block), but since Resolve 40 grants another stress box, Kei can accept one mental stress and get another training block.
  2. If you just mean timeline-wise, it happened after this vote for Chapter 453. Otherwise, there's nothing special about the 1.0 mark, it just means that you're maintaining 10 training blocks worth of clones (3.3 = 4 clones for Akane, 4 clones for Kei).
    1. For example, Akane's Resolve check to resist SC sickness is: 39 + 9 (SC AB 5 - 2 = 3; 3*3 = 9) vs 20 + 30 (10 training blocks * 3 hours per training block) -> 48 vs 50. She can afford to lose by up to 9 and not take a Consequence.
    2. Kei's Resolve check to resist SC sickness is 42 + 9 vs 20 + 36 = 51 vs 56. She can afford to lose by up to 12 and not take a Consequence.

I'd like to disagree on the importance of the Canvass scene. Mainly because the Cannai and Canvass conversations are actually different scenes, bringing the scene count of this plan up to 4, something which I think EJ strongly dislikes. Also because Canvass really isn't very narratively important so far, and it seems fine to skip over her weird requirements to go straight to Cannai in a time of need. We can make the contract temporary after finding the Squirrel Scroll.

Also, @eaglejarl is it clear that the current plan involves timeskipping until the Rift seals are done?
