"Didn't you lot spend time in the Swamp of Death? Remember how high the predator density was and how strong their abilities? This area is like that, and according to our maps this cave is the center of it. It's an even richer source than the meteorite at the center of the Swamp, but fortunately it's underground and the earth blocks most of the energy from getting into the environment. Still, there's almost certainly chakra metal in there."
I'm sorry, but wth? I missed this the first time through, and I deeply regret that, but what?

Is this warpstone? Is not!morrslieb in the sky? Is chakra metal just refined off brand warpstone?
@eaglejarl @Velorien
How many moons has Hazo seen in the sky?

"Jiraiya fought one and beat it. This was before my time, but based on what I've been told he only survived because Tsunade got to him within minutes. If she hadn't been there he would have died, and if she weren't as good as her reputation then he would have lost his arm. He was on complete bed rest for a month.
We should ask Tsunade about this. Then we'd at least know if Itachi was just messing with us about the meteor-golem thing.

so since this is apparently not a typo. Anyone got ideas why would old men, naruto and the angel of mercy, wish ami's dad was ami?

We already sorted this one out:

the weeping angel is one. anyone got ideas on the other?
also, @Velorien . Is this a typo being "who you wish were your father"?
She is talking about Naruto here.
Nope. @MMKII has it right. Also, while the weeping angels were awesome, Ryūgamine is the Angel Without Mercy.

Good idea, but let's make it genin. I'm afraid that we'll have a ton of mortality if we use civilians. I'm just imagining the "Shoot her! Shoot her!" scene from Jurassic Park 1.

Even genin won't want to drop their guard while working with them, even if they should be able to beat the chakra beasts easily.
Why not just make it a mission and let it be rated and given out accordingly? I don't think we are allowed to hire ninja in a different way anyway.

[X] Action Plan: CHAOS control

I don't like any of the Ami plans as they stand. They seem both far too wordy (and not in a plan word count kind of way) and missing both the mark of what Ami did wrong and how to reach her about it.
Sadly I don't exactly know what the right way to do it would be either. But a whole essay on what it means to hurt someone with words or an implication that she's part of the family and what she did would have been okay if she weren't are both not it. Nor do I really like apologizing for something that Hazō isn't actually sorry for. Not to Ami.

To be honest, maybe the best way would be something simple like "talk honestly to Ami about what happened and why you reacted the way you did using CCnJ, after first mentally preparing yourself and making sure you know why you felt what you felt" and leave the rest up to the QMs. Hazō had an in character reaction to Ami's action that we didn't choose. On top of that I think one reason as to why Ami seems to have a wrong or weird reading of Hazō is because in our meetings with her we (an entity from the Out that has been with Hazō for years) curate his speech quite frequently, essentially slightly altering who he is in such situations.

@Supersuslik your vote isn't counted correctly in the tally.

@Inferno Vulpix How up to date is your side project list. Also, what is "Leaf Idle Game"?

[X] Action Plan: CHAOS Control

@Shrooms , just to clear things up:

The idea (well mine) was to buy the grape land because the Amori wanted to buy the land (they got some wine making license and so the land should have value, we would get it from the Kurusu clan auction and then give it to those guys:

Maybe also the Amori but getting two adoption slots is pretty ambitious and the Amori might just simple refuse.

Shiho will probably take it, but the Amori? Eh.

If the Amori are hesitating, we can say that Shiho are looking to get into the industry too, and wonder idly if they have any adoption slots out loud. This work for you?

[X] Action Plan: CHAOS Control
Word Count: 228
  • Reactive Armor
    • Dedicate a few hours of Hazou Prime's time daily to working with Kagome on Reactive Armor seals
    • Start the project with low-power training tags that won't do serious damage as proof of concept
    • When Kagome feels it is safe enough, have Kagome don the newest CHAOS suit and spar a few rounds with him to test out its effectiveness
  • Adoption Tickets
    • Get coaching from Mari for a meeting with the Amori
    • We have the prime grape-growing land that winemakers like the Amori want, they have adoption tickets that we want
      • If they still have their adoption tickets for this year, we want both those and the ones they will receive at the start of next year
      • If they need more from us, we can offer our land-clearing expertise to help them start growing sooner
      • If they're still hesitating on the deal, mention casually that the Shiho are looking to get into the industry too, and audibly wonder idly if they have any adoption slots
  • Misc
    • Send a Hazou clone to help the skyslider team a few hours a day, finish it up ASAP
    • Consult with the teeth pupper. How would they feel about a freshly forged teeth mold in the meantime of tracking down their ancestor's?
    • Consult with Canoe. How does she feel about being a full-time summon rather than a reverse-summon only?

Updated to include new information about a potential rival to the Amori.

Hey y'all, Akane is due for a Resolve upgrade so she can do another shadow clone.

[X] Training Akane: Resolve
Resolve 24 (47 XP)

Save 1 XP

[X] Action Plan: CHAOS Control

Do you mind adding a line about being sanity checked and/or diplomacy-optimized by Mari and Gaku? Probably not necessary, but I don't think Hazou-the-character knows all that much about the Amori, whereas Mari's got her finger on the metaphorical pulse of Leaf's politics and Gaku is an amazing well of info, not to mention he's a Leaf-native and might offer some insight that Mist-natives such as Mari and Hazou might miss.

Edit: Sorry, didn't notice that Mari's already in there. My brain is cheese and needs caffeine. An obscene amount. An amount that would make other college students look at me in concern. An amount that would make Jashin worried about my health.

Extremely not up to date. Not even close. I'm not sure I've touched it since the Exams.

The idle game is a fun little idea I had way back when, in which we would essentially design idle game mechanics and send mail updates to all participants every day, while they send their day's actions back to us and we run the actions through the mechanics to determine their resource gain and w/e. We could then put up leaderboard thingies so people can compare their scores against each other on various metrics.

But at the end of the day it's just a fun little idea, not important in any way.

Hey y'all, I also made a version of a sheet for Haru

Features:
  • More diverse skillset than faf's and IV's, in exchange for lower values on Taijutsu and Alertness.
  • Slightly lower chakra reserves, which should hopefully match for someone not being prepped for Summoning or Shadow Clone.
  • More jutsu - levels in the armor technique Ghost Scales and 1 in Pangolin Flash.
  • Higher levels in many jutsu, namely Substitution and Lightning Bucklers, which are core defensive and offensive skills.
  • Has the Yamanaka technique, plus a couple other stunts (including a proposed almost-fighting-style).

@eaglejarl @Velorien @OliWhail

If you guys have yet to decide on just what hazo's jounin aura will be like then I would like to submit my personal idea's.

I have two idea's

Idea 1:

Basically Hazo's aura leverages his connection to us to essentially let our gaze be felt upon the world. The aura Itself would feel like you're being watched by thousands of cosmic horror eyes belonging to things so great and impossibly beyond you're comprehension that catching a mere glimpse of the terrible truth contained within the eyes of those unfathomable existances from beyond The Out would directly lead to the summary erasure of your very existance. (So essentially it would be akin to the entirety of the cthulu mythos pantheon staring at you)

Idea 2:

Hazo's aura leverages his connection to The Out to make it feel like you're standing in the middle of the deepest depths of something akin to [The Darkest Dungeon] from the game known as Darkest Dungeon.

Basically make them feel like they are currently in the middle of this:

I always figured it would be like this but converted from a musical form into whatever. Always struck me as oddly fitting.
