On Thread Etiquette:

I'm not going to weigh in on the logic of either side's arguments, but I will ask that everyone read over what they write and really consider if the words they used are polite and won't be inflammatory intentionally or not. You cant account for people's tolerances perfectly but at least try to say your piece without saying things that can be easily construed as overly dismissive of the other side of the argument, thank you.

Please endeavour to be cordial. :^)

[X] The rear.

so we got our first arch-nemesis to our santa Claus...time to bring forth the pain on this wanna-be daemon!!!

can we melt its heart into a Rune of Daemonsbane?

This very well may be a trap by the hunter. That said, that is not a bad thing. He will likely try to duel us if so and we are probably the killiest thing in the whole army.

A troll that ate so much of the wrong stuff that it became so much more, cool idea.

The Troll has Krampus' pic. Obviously we need to defeat it, bind it to our will and make it into our enforcer when we become Santa.

I figure this is basically a choice of: Fight the Daemon Alone (The Rear) vs Fight the Daemon with buddies in the back (The Right). The right will probably lead to it getting frustrated as we try and isolate us but fails and the rear is actually critical, we need those peeps.

whoever guessed it was gonna totes be Krampus.
Aw shucks! The dice like me. But did you roll for the Daemon troll or was he a preplanned rival

[X] The rear

The Longbeards have the front portal covered for now the rear needs stabilizing. Plus Krampus wants us nice and alone before he's willing to go mano-a-mano. Let's oblige him. We take care of him and his magic support and it's mostly cleanup.

So by going to the rear, the troll-deamon-krampus is more likely to get the jump on us while we're isolated

Totally knew Krampus would happen somehow, but the troll roll was you guys getting a bad RER and I just rolled with it.

Also after this we give those Runesmiths remedial lessons. Shoddy just shoddy. Bah!

Well thankfully you saw fit to give us full anti castor, daemon and troll Runic Equipment. This will be a nice fight. Hoping to use this thing for a upscale version of our talisman for the hold too. Would fit with components from a Troll that went Daemon Prince-ish by basically eating his way through the entire daemon roster.

It is a Daemon Prince of Chaos Undivided right? It sounds too similar but distinct to the process to not be. Plus I'm hoping to permanent kill those demons it are by using their energy up make some Karak wide Convertor combo rune.

Honestly he can lure us away all he wants it's not like they'll win against us

Overconfidence is a slow and insidious killer.
Luckily for us a 500 year old Dawi Runlord with a Grudge is a hell of a lot faster and efficient one.

But point taken. Still looks like the best option though. The rear isnt getting any other Longbeard reinforcements, those are all going to the front. So if we dont want the (relative) rookies to bite the big one we gonna reinforce it. Center was definetly the best call.
