When compared to the Out visions it's probably only near the "distance from the painted world" area in dread inducement because it's Mari doing it, and even then Hazou isn't worried for himself there.

The shinobi world has legends of what happens when mortals attempt to exploit powers beyond their comprehension. They say that after what they saw in the lifeless hidden village of the Mōdoku poison users, the Haijin burned the place to the ground without a second thought, and then had priests perform a grand purification ritual over the ashes. But even then, you could still hear wailing at night, begging for a mercy killing that can never come to the already dead. So if you're ever camping in the wilderness, and in the middle of the night you hear a voice filled with pure agony, and it's pleading for the salvation of death, you might be in the middle of that lost village. Nobody knows what killed the Mōdoku, and nobody knows if it's still there. If you value your life, forget your gear and run.
