Honestly, were at a point where the biggest threat in from inside, the only external threat truly worth looking at is the fucking nomads

Cant have an internal collapse cause we were too busy looking elsewhere, and if we focus on infrastructure, we shall have more industrial power than anyone has ever known!
 
Alright, there was nothing from the East, Steppes were fine, there was a Saffron Island empire in the west but it fought Freehills and we send Red Banner there, so maybe it'll be fine. We need to look after Patricians with DL though.

Let's remember, Shunyn is a Culture genius, and needs it to not go conquer everything and split us.

I think we have a severe need for a focus on culture and infrastructure, but culture, which we haven't been investing in at all, is something which I think takes precedent. We can focus on roads next lightning round.

I always loved the idea of sticking our appendages towards Russia and Scandinavia instead of obsessing over the Mediterranean and the megaprojects are the coolest part of the quest.

Hopefully as we look inside we don't forget to tend somewhat to our sphere of influence, Txolla, Freehills and Storm Ymaryn. And don't forget to keep ahead of the competition on military.

We have the largest army in the world and largest non Nomad Cavalry force by far. We should be able to keep that with the fresh infusion of cavalry from recent mass Steppe immigration, hiring of Nomad Mercs becoming common and Forhuch influences.

The numbers and equipment thing I'm sure can be handled by internal infrastructure advancement, industry and population increasing with these choices allowing us to outright drown people in bolts and arrows when we can't cav smash them.

I do not care which direction we go. But if there is one thing that stays, far longer than any roads, or wonders, or anything, it is Culture. Never forget what the Ymaryn are, and what it meant, even as perverted as our ideals have become at times.

I really wanna do diplo focus, but the real issues are that the Ymaryn don't have any cultural glue.
We relied on the Government Bureaucracy to hold everything together. but with the Particians becoming able to basically form their own mini states within the Ymaryn, we need cultural glue to stop the whole thing from exploding harder than it already is about to.
