Did I ever say I was good? That I was morally in the right? I campaign for this not out of hate or rage but to set an example. The old lessons have been forgotten, let us remind the world what it means to attempt to destroy Ymaryn.
If you vote for it, then yes, you quite apparently think it's the right choice of action to "remember the old lessons". Then you find that the moral trade-off. Frankly, motivation doesn't matter - the action is in itself evil, no matter the purpose for which it was done.

Besides, once again, we do have a definite oldest message. And that message is:

The fire is warm.

Our sixth update already is helping people where we can, and the formulation "the fire is warm" came in our twelfth already. Now, we're at over 150 updates, and those are our oldest, most sacred values. I would have them continue and prosper.

Basically, we're the "Friendship is Magic" culture, and now, we're getting our ponies!

1. I meant wiping out two thirds of their population.

2. So we have to keep reminding them don't we?
1. Ok, and how many nomads do you think there are compared to Ymaryn? Like, 2 times as many, half as many, equal amounts, etc...?

2. I mean, you did read the last chapter, right? The nomads obliterated our armies until we hit them with the plague. Why do you think we'd be able to win against them on their home field?

How many nomads are there? I'd say two thirds but if they really hate us better to be safe and aim for three fourths.

When the nomads go west and the ones that return speak of death and destruction how many will seek to venture to these haunted lands? We must mark our territory and we must do it in the language these savage only know. Violence. Also that map dose not represent our current situation. I don't think we would have missed the nomads in the middle of fucking Anatolia.
Only a fraction of a fraction of the original horde have come to us begging for help. Others have fled north into the steppes, and the remainder have fled east into Persia. They will bring tales of the death and destruction that the magics of the Ymaryn have inflicted upon them. How no man, no matter how strong his arm, how sharp his sword, or how swift his horse, can ever truly be safe if he attacks us.

Why should we reveal that we cannot kill them at will by actively pursuing them and failing to catch them? Let them think that they survive only because we don't wish them dead.

@Academia Nut
Did Joyous Symphony trigger (Defensive war ending)?
Also, good luck figuring out the king's actions! You're gonna need it...

Also for future reference, do the stats from integration at "end of turn" count for order of operations in the final phase of the turn? (That is, can they come before "each phase" items and other such events?)

How am racist? Is our race not ambiguously brown? How does the total destruction of the nomads count as being racist?
Okay dude, I don't know who taught you about Racism but Brown skin isn't a Immune to Racism card, especially in a verse where the transatlantic Slave trade hasn't happened. (Was going to say Yet but don't want to Jinx it.)

I'm not sure if the Ymaryn are racist or not, but their skin color is irrelevant in determining that.

We will accept everyone! This is our pride as a People!

EDIT: Wait, we peaced out a defensive war. Joyous Symphony trigger?
AN clarified earlier that the -1 stab is including the joyous symphony trigger, because the People hate the Nomads that much right now.

@Academia Nut now that you're back in thread, i'm still confused about our stats. (And i assume @PrimalShadow still is as well :V) You said we were supposed to gain ~4-8 points in "most stats":
Gaining 4-8 points in most stats.
But it really doesn't look like that fits the stats we have, with us only 4 stats ahead in culture/mysticism/tech combined, with econ being hard to tell with the damage we take (and with our delayed stats disappeared for some reason), but seemingly not being much considering we had the expand econ action giving 6 in and of itself, and then a decent amount of martial, but absolutely no wealth?

Also, as i'd mentioned earlier, we should be cent 9, if we gained 4 IC as your edits to the EP section suggest.

So then were my comments racist?

It's amazing how full our stats pool are and how hilariously high our effective martial is. But the -1 going to -2 stability is concerning, as is the effective 15 religious authority; which is about double our maximum?

"To some extent, I want to take them in right away to find out how the plague so abruptly spread to them,"
...oh ahahaha.
I think I just realized.
We found the bloody reservoir.

How?
-Nomads wreck Mountain Horse. Loots Cow. Loots Horse. Burns everything else. Nothing happens.
-Nomads wreck Thunder Speakers. Loots Cow. Loots Horse. Burns everything else. Nothing happens.
-Nomads hit Redhills(Ymaryn Core). Loots some cow. Loots some horse.
-Chief always gets first pick of loot.
-Chief's family specifically died of plague.
-Warchiefs do not normally engage in a lot of milking.
-Warchiefs DO engage in a lot of riding.

It's OUR goddamned horses isn't it? Because we should have the biggest horses of the region, so of course their Khan will liberate our horses and ride them.
This is the first time he actually encountered plague horse and he never had animal quarantines.

tbf, the RA is in large part an emergency measure by the patricians, and the mystic king should actually be able to keep the priests mostly in check.

And the admin hero king also should be able to handle the stability hit, so it's not as bad as it seems.

Hopefully this option start the path to removing/altering Purity.

Luckily we are going into a main turn, so we should be able to restore our stability in short order. And by taking in the nomad warriors, that should prevent them from raidin our outer settlements for supplies.

And I think that the effective 15 religious authority is okay for now since we have a heroic mystic leader, sort of like being at red centralization is okay with a heroic admin leader. It certainly isn't something that we want after our king dies (and at that point I expect the patricians to pull their support from the priest faction), but it is useful for now.

I didn't know that Horseman's Plague was an apt description.

But the Mountain Horse were also suffering from the plague, so shouldn't their horses have carried the plague?
