Guys, look at what you're voting for. Founding a mercenary company AND capturing Trelli WITHOUT taking Vassal Support will take us over the vassal limit.
Okay, I'm almost convinced not going to war is a good plan. But there is still the problem of allowing the Trelli to become a pirate state stronghold. And we have never had a better time than now to take Trelli. If we ever want to open communications with the Khemetri again, we really should take Trelli.Yeah, its always been the case from what I recall that for Secondaries that we can do x2 and fuse them into a main: An example is Expand Econ -> Sec Expand Econ + Sec Expand Econ x2 = Main Expand Econ.
We are also going to be taking lots of PSN so we have to have in the range of +2 Cent per turn in order to actually increase Cent, which means main EJ's.
You're willing to gamble on a maybe, among all the other risks that taking trelli causes? We will gain prestige next turn which may bump us over the prestige limit.
Good point. We only need 3 Prestige for another Subordinate. I'd be pretty surprised if taking the Straits gave us less than that.We will gain prestige next turn which may bump us over the prestige limit.

And? We were there, you get prestige in exchange for diplo. Nothing too bad, not for a short time. Plus merc can get us a legacy?Guys, look at what you're voting for. Founding a mercenary company AND capturing Trelli WITHOUT taking Vassal Support will take us over the vassal limit.
We could support Freehills by hiring out our banner to them. AN said earlier that they already have the best chance of holding TrelliOkay, I'm almost convinced not going to war is a good plan. How much centralization might we lose if we succeed in taking Trelli? Or is this something I should be asking @Academia Nut?
Why did out prestige go down to 87? I thought it was 95 something last turn....or am I just misremembering?
I don't want to hand them Trelli on practically a silver platter. Trelli's position is geographically strong, and really would make a good capital for the empire! We could support Freehills by hiring out our banner to them. AN said earlier that they already have the best chance of holding Trelli
Good points on not wanting Trelli to become a pirate stronghold, and restoring contact with the Khemetri.Okay, I'm almost convinced not going to war is a good plan. Guys. This is clearly telling us that the tax can cause Loyalty problems. Can we PLEASE choose Vassal support?it had obvious failure points - such as the local elites deciding that they didn't need the king at all
We finally spent prestige.

That would be fucking hilarious to read.Trelli Negaverse:
You were conquered by Freehill, supported by Ymaryn mercenaries. SInce Freehill is a successor state, you are now in direct control of Freehill.
WTF?
Well, more of a change than a boost. The Tech isn't free, after all. Also, holy shit the Ironworks expanded projects are a permanent boost to expand econ actions.
Our centralization must be greater than 5? and our martial less than five.
Done. Once I vote (in a couple of hours), I will vote for renting troops, not attacking. No promises about renting to Free hills, though; I have to read through the discussion, look at the tally, and think about it too decide.I can trade vassal support vote for vote against attacking Trelli, preferably renting troops to Freehills.
Some people are afraid of breaking the economy.Yes, I'm aware those are the success conditions. I'm still not sure why we don't want high Centralization?
Since that statement had nothing to do with the astrology, or anything I said before, I'm just going to mark this down as a win.

We want the ironworks to have a free Megaproject.City Support is mandatory unless we're taking the Food Tax.
Still helpful even with the tax too.
Otherwise we hadn't gone wrong with Infrastructure yet. We need Infrastructure policies to build Ironworks for free after all.
