It is worth rendering that integrating the stallions means we lose their 2 actions, in return for only one province action. In practice, this means that we have to build the temple they would have built, we have to do the war actions they would have done, etc.

Combined with the admin problems, I'm starting to feel that perhaps holding in favor of more palace actions could be a better idea.
I find that it is six one way, half a dozen the other as to integrating the Stallions versus a double main palace and secondary improve economy.

Now that we are no longer fighting the Highland Kingdom, I'd much rather integrate the Hat. They are currently unable to participate in the war, we'd still get more econ and military, and they are currently the most likely to break away.

They are the most able to break away with no repercussions. However, as of yet, they appear to have no reason to do so.

To every one voting to Integrate the stallions, this is what AN has to say about it's effect on the administrative situation!
Definitely worse, don't know how much worse though. The extra province would be a significant strain at least.

I propose this instead
[X] [Main] Grand Palace
[X] [Secondary] Expand Economy
[X] [Secondary] Study Metal

This will start of the palace, build our economy a little to pay for us later switching to mega-project support. I then went with study metals seeing as we have seen little innovation in either the production of metal goods or the end products. I hope that by devoting some attention and resources we might gain an small advantage in either alloys, methods of production or some new tools and weapons to our disposal.

Personally, I think you can and should. Obviously, you should speculate as to differences that the technology and intervening external polities might result in, however.
Oh you can do that. What you aren't allowed to do is saying that an outcome of an event is certain based solely on that fact that this was the outcome during a similar event. Because while the issues might look alike, the factors and people involved are different and therefor the outcome of the event is too. No two (complex) events will ever play out the same, the human actor is just too likely to react differently.

Which is kinda ironic considering one of the goals of teaching people about history is to prevent them from making the mistakes of the past.

I feel playing this quest teaches us about history too, even if it's just making the hivemind go out and study history.

False since that is considered a hobby to supplement income and is regulated(taxed). The traders aren't regulated hence the need for the Law since our society has advanced past them.
What? That's not how our prostitution works; it's a full profession with training and associations and everything just like miners or bakers. Yes, the brokers need to be regulated and taxed, but they don't need to be destroyed. They're the early private entrepreneurs, showing us where the inefficiencies in our system are. More, they will put the excess back into the system when we tax them, making them an important part of our economic cycle. This is one of the ways we reduce our economic strain.

why are people against this ambrosia

God gave man free will so that he may exercise it in pursuit of the divine, not to indulge in this most heinous of heresies.
For the putting of the spiked yellow fruit, that of the sharp leaf bushes, on top of the pizza is nothing short of desecration, it perverts the purity of the dough, corrupts the essence of the tomato and profanes the holiness of the cheese.
To commit such an act is to fully and whole heartedly reject the grace of God, and condemn ones soul to eternal damnation.

New vote

[X] [Main] Distribute Land
[X] [Secondary] New Trails
[X] [Secondary] New Trails x2

This hits two small birds with one pebble. As opposed to previous plan which hits two ostriches with a boulder , risking the carcass or the rock crushing you as it falls.

OK tactical tie break vote

[X][Main] Grand Palace
[X][Main] Grand Palace x2
[X] [Secondary] Distribute Land

Last word of AN I can find says they are considered a side hobby. Plus when did I ever advocate to destory the traders ?? Don't put words into my mouth! I just said the traders are proof our society had advanced beyond our laws hence the need for tax reform to update our laws and to help regulate the profession.

Well lets go with:

[X] [Main] Grand Palace
[X] [Main] Grand Palace x2
[X] [Secondary] Expand Economy
AN confirmed that the Stallion Tribes will build the temple this turn if we don't integrate them. We need to integrate them this turn or it will result in problems more damaging and harder to resolve than not getting an extra action on the megaproject in this turn.

[X] [Main] Grand Palace
[X] [Secondary] Integrate March - Stallion Tribes
[X] [Secondary] Integrate March - Stallion Tribes x2

Note that I'm planning on propogation, not integration. This preserves their actions and anti-nomad utility while also giving us control over the well-developed lands that they're going to build that temple in.

I think we should plan on making that tmple ourselves pretty soon afterwards, possibly even before finishing the Palace if we can get off of Offensive next turn.

Well, you can technically classify it as hobby. Lots of free time spent on an enjoyable activity...... It's purely public appreciation that gets you the money, nothing to do with asking naturally.

I just don't like pineapple. I've eaten durian fruit. I like that better than pineapple.

[x] Integrate Colony
[x] Integrate March
[x] Integrate Vassal

we need to integrate the territory we have won was well as the stallion tribes
it be nice to build a temple in the dino graveyard

Honestly can't rly agree. Having the dough sweeter is nothing but an improvement. The salty/acidity of a proper marinara sauce (as opposed to the generally herby-er arrabiata, which has a spiciness that is still quite decent with pineapple) serves as a good contrast if separated by cheese. A p flavorless but filling white cheese.

I don't think one or two turns with their temple will be a big problem, with out increased interconnectivity and our increased RA

Or at least not as big a problem as AN implied intergrating now would be

You know I think we need the trails and this is the only way to do it this turn.
