So what is our next megaproject im thinking grand palace in valleyhome to mark as capital now that its not the only city we have

Divine Stewards and Symphony ought to both be kicking in with bonuses here, which ought to help. If the provinces actually do well in handling stability gains, then I'd say we definitely ought to take in more refugees, to avoid potentially losing out on Cosmopolitan Acceptance, as well as improving our chance of evolving it further.

That's the most talked about consensus I think, after we get done with our current Sacred Forest Renewal, with the Palace Library and Census after that. There is also a significant minority which wish to do Dam first then Palace.

There has also been some debate that Redshore may actually be a better place due to trade access.

If we are still in a climate change crisis, it behooves us to pursue all stability options to avoid pressing the buttons too much. It will also improve environmental resistance.

Don't forget that we must make sure not to neglect the northern provinces with monofocus on southern province projects.

I'd really love to be able to properly tend to the Lowlands, with forests and terracing and reservoirs, to damp out the climatic instability a bit.

Which is why I am waffling on whether I want the Dam first or do the Palace line of things.

Also was silver coins a meal or a days food
A bwyll silver coin(s) is a day's worth of grain/equivalent for a grown man.

You know, thought I just had.

We caused this Climate Instability by AN rolling shit for our environmental dice in sequence so...

Whoops? Sorry we fucked you all over Lowlanders?

That's a pretty good argument in favor of putting the Great Dam up north soon, because the Palace pretty much has to be central to our civ. Not sure how the census falls out.
Census is not location specific. The census office if there is one goes with the Palace for maximum efficiency.

I think the issue is that in order to put dams up north we have to build the Great Dam first and unlock dam extended project. If we integrated the Stallions we could probably do a canal.

I still say that we need a 'farming company' to go with our mercenary company. We could rent them out, where they create econ and econ slots, while insulating people against climate disasters, with them paying us wealth for their services.

And then it turns out that they are actually more deadly than the mercs because of "creative" farming practices.

I like the idea that money based on food
It's a great way to avoid some of the pitfalls of currency that can happen in pure fiat.

So, amusing thought. Anyone else realize that every time we turn down a chance to increase our hero spawn rate, we get showered with heroes?

First was after we got humility, whereupon we got several heroes right in a row. Now we turn down the ancestral trait and we get 2 heroes back to back, followed by 3 heroes all at once.

I guess the moral of this story is to always turn down hero generation increases?

It is well known that whenever the Ymaryn are hit with a con, they immediately proceed to either ignore it or straight up reverse it. While our hero-spawning is the most obvious example of this, it is not the only one.

After what came from Weapons of the Gods, I am even looking forward to the next Debilitating Belief we obtain.

*looks at our most recent trait*

*wiggles eyebrows. Lewdly.*

I'm actually curious about whether they bring back tech from their targets, or whether we could pay them to do so. Narratively, it would probably mean we pay in advance for the opportunity to examine their spoils afterward. If we set it up right, we might be able to motivate them to deliberately look for shinies that we'll be willing to pay extra for.

Well, the only time your currency backing really matters is when digestive waste products pass through a turbine.

And in that situation, I'd much rather have a pile of wheat than a bar of gold.
Hmm. On the currency thing, I wonder if the Trelli or Not!Egypt People have it.

The Not!Egypt People have more pop than we do by Word of AN so I wonder how their society works.

Well, we didn't get a legacy for "First (local) civ to invent currency!" like i'd hoped/expected so its possible...though i think if the Trelli did we'd have heard about it by now?
