Oh, quick question @Velorien @eaglejarl : Do summons have a distance limit from their summoner? I assume not, but good to check.

Priority 1 re: Pangolin is to find out more about them from Pandaa. We can have a cultural exchange meeting later and talk about what sort of society they have, what their natural talents are, what they generally specialize in, their knowledge with respect to varying techniques, etc. And we can get to spend more time with the increasingly lovable Pangolin intermediary.

I would go by number of views for the measure of popularity rather than number of posts, but this is still quite good as we are the 33rd most viewed quest. A very respectable position, near top of the second page.

So, do we keep the summon scroll on our person as a way of expanding potential summoners for the Pangolin? Keiko would have the most authority over the scroll do to being their summoner. Plus the fact that the Pangolin distrust the Tapir, we could make the case that the scroll would be better suited to being within our control until a more appropriate location for it can be secured. Also do we leave right now and report to Jiraiya in person our success or should we send an message with the envoy to the Toad the Pangolin will be sending do to Keiko name dropping Jiraiya the Toad Summoner as an ally?

Just for clarification, does that mean the summoner will return to the first place he/she was reverse-summoned from, as in the location in Hidden Mountain, or the latest location said summoner was reverse-summoned from, as in, the location can be changed?

If Keiko will always return to Hidden Mountain, we must play nice with the locals, but it would also have some interesting consequences in terms of mobility. She would have a "Fuck this shit, I'm out" button... which, in her line of work, is amazing.
 
The scroll definitely goes with us for now, Pandaa told us to take it in front of all important locals. We don't need to justify taking it away from this village. How to hide it later... Something to think on.

E: in other news, Keiko now has potential to be our second medic.

Views is about passive reading, though. I like replies because it shows active engagement among the reader base.

The summoner returns to the place they were most recently summoned from.
 
Yay. We do that, make Kei a master summoner with healing on the side, and leave crafting to Hazou.

Mist Elemental Nations won't know what hit it.

Also that girl from academy with her crab summon or whatever can suck it. Go Keiko :3

No point in getting summoning 7 right away. We don't know that many pangolins, not to mention a lvl7 summon eats all her chakra.

Make that summoning 3 for now, with plans for Kei to make more combat-oriented friends in future.

Aside from chakra, we don't know what high level summons want for payment. We might not be able to provide just yet.

Better sit on that XP for a bit.

Better yet, buy some awareness.

Noburi has 61 effective XP which is enough to get Medical Ninjutsu 8 (23XP) as well as the chakra control requirements for Medical Ninjutsu 10 (38XP). I highly recommend we save 20XP into the Medic Fund and spend the rest of his XP to get Control 10. This also gives him +60CP, which can be used to give Keiko the necessary CP for advanced summonings, among fueling the rest of our ninjutsu-heavy needs.

That plan doesn't work, according to the char sheet summoning costs 10/level

Whether that means every level costs 10 or each level costs it's number times 10, I'm not sure.

Either way, there's no way Keiko can get to summoning 7 that fast.
