Seems unlikely to happen. Here's a videoof what I expect to happen once we set off a coal-macerator.

I like this, except that implosion seals are unique. Coal-macerator fires should be indistinguishable from a natural explosion. Explosive seals indicate "some sort of ninja," but implosion seals indicate "Kagome."Just use an implosion seal or two if we need to go lethal. That'll destroy the warehouse and kill anyone in it more likely than not.

Why are we using explosives or misterators? Aren't our opponents friggin civilians?
I understand overkill, but shouldn't we send in a disguised Akane and Hazou with Taijutsu to KO everyone?
We could also use earbusters if we're going to go in, unstealthy like.

[] Action Plan: Remember the 3D Flowchart?
Primary Goals:
1. Survive.
2. Deliver messages.
3. Accomplish side-goals.
Actions:
GMs, if you don't want to write the entire encounter in a single update, 2.3 is a good place to stop. Otherwise, if you're going through with the entire plan, can you please do 4 regardless?
- Ask Keiko to review the plan first. Then after revisions, present to Minami as advice, while highlighting she's team leader.
- Defer to Minami about whether to take this mission. If she says not to, go to Section 3.
- If the mission is go, prioritize safety, speed, and the guy alive in that order.
Everybody except Keiko and Noburi should have all-lethal loadouts. Trust Keiko to have however many non-lethals as neccesary if we can pull off the mission. Noburi should only be carrying misterators as his nonlethals.- Immediately scout out the warehouse. Take note of force composition, positioning, and escape routes.
- Scout with Minami's ability first.
- If detected, open with Dust Bomb followed immediately by implosion seal. If anything's still alive, have Keiko and Minami act as long ranged support with Noburi and Kagome in mid range, while Hazou and Akane close. If there's a jonin, fighting retreat.
full lethal. We don't really need to be making friends with people after Jiraiya's network.- Have Keiko and Noburi prepare the area after Minami gives the all-clear. Think escape routes, ways to increase destroyed evidence, how to make break-in look normal and places to hide dead bodies.
- Attack when preparations are complete or hostiles are in the area of operations. If non-lethal, have Noburi open the fight with misterators and Keiko end it with non-lethals.
- Destroy evidence and leave some one else with the blame.
Leave a note saying something like "ninja don't like being cheated" after abducting Shirakawa and letting everyone else wake up.- Deliver Shirakawa to the Jeweler.
- If not going through with the side mission, politely inform the Jeweler.
- Pick up something for Akane from the Jeweler.
- Pack up and leave.
[X] Action Plan: Ninja stuff
- Report to Minami
- Describe the potential mission to her
- Tell Noburi about the chakra poison and see if he thinks it's a thing that he would be interested in acquiring
- Brainstorm with whole team on plan. Accept critiques and suggestions, especially from Keiko and Minari
- If we get approval to take the mission begin scouting
- Find where Shirakawa and his gang is located
- Make sure to be henged to protect identities
- Get a solid count of the number of people in his warehouse
- Wait till we have successfully scouted the area to make our move
- Cut a hole in the rough
- drop in mistarators
- Have Noburi drain everyone in the building to unconscious
- If anyone is not drained immediately engage them in combat
- If combat happens use chakra boost
- Loot the warehouse of all of its valuables
- Kidnap Shirakawa and take him back to The Jeweler
- Get the Snake Poison
- Buy Akane a piece of Jewelry for Akane
AddedMake sure to henge ourselves before we start the operation. We don't want our faces to be identified.
Or holes in the wall. So, for the scouting, couldn't Minami use her prism to see inside if there are any windows?

AddedOr holes in the wall.
Also, plans should include Hazou's Earth Release: Living Roots to handle enemies Minami can't see, as well as keeping track of them after Minami stops using her technique.

Living Roots gives a bonus to Awareness and should the check pass Hazou would get 100% knowledge of all enemies detected. We're up against civilians so this is justified (civilians have shit Stealth).Living Roots is still at level 1, it's not gonna be very good at more than 5 meters or so.
I mean, yes, we definitely use it, I'm just saying not to count on it.Wrt bringing the captive back to the jeweler, we should stuff him in a large box after knocking him out and tying him up. This way it looks as though we're doing a delivery (of jewels?) which should help to avoid most unwanted eyes.
I'd like to suggest that all plans not use Misterators until a removal mechanism is made for these things, as a large concentration of mist appearing in a warehouse (but not outside) would suggest ninja activity. Which could lead to increased scrutiny, something we don't want Mr. Jeweler to have.

Don't count on auto-passing future Awareness checks should enemies try to flee? I mean...civilians, yeah; but still.I mean, yes, we definitely use it, I'm just saying not to count on it.
At 10 meters we get an awareness of 50; at 25, 20. And that's if we're stationary. Even a civilian could beat those numbers with luck.Don't count on auto-passing future Awareness checks should enemies try to flee? I mean...civilians, yeah; but still.
