@PoptartProdigy

I know the max power level of a normal Saiyan is 15 million, but (lacking zenkai) they don't usually reach it due to diminishing returns.

That said, it IS something that is possible with zenkai or long years of training. Even with special Scion training (and, of course, a zenkai), we achieved it at 8. To my mind, that means it isn't unreasonable to expect a Saiyan who has been focused on strength hitting that point by around 20.

Given that, what's the typical power level of an average adult Saiyan? I assume something like 10 million isn't unreasonable?

If that's the case, I expect we, as a planet, represent the tip of the bell curve. Obviously there's beings stronger than Saiyans (or, y'know, Earth would still be spinning peacefully where it had been) but the galaxy in DBZ (I haven't seen Super) seems to be populated almost entirely by people who think that 50,000 is a very high power level.

I strongly suspect that means that when our world re-enters the galactic scene, Saiyans will immediately become a significant force. 300,000 people with a power level of 10 million, with a few outliers who spike into the hundreds of millions, should absolutely smash 99% of what we've seen in DBZ.

Either that or the whole galaxy has experienced a power creep such that Frieza would be only moderately above average...

Given that, what's the typical power level of an average adult Saiyan? I assume something like 10 million isn't unreasonable?

This has been previously answered. Not up to finding the quote, but as I recall it was '1-3 million' is the typical.
1-3 millions is correct, here's the quote (well, part of it, follow it back if you´re interested in the full explanation).
As a result of all of this, the average power level has tapered off to about 1-3 million. Every Saiyan is capable of destroying the planet with a flick of their wrist, but none of them are anything more than gnats before the full power of their Lord.

That said, assuming the galaxy as a whole isn't any stronger than in Freeza's time, I think it still won't be the Saiyans' great power than will shake up the galactic scene, but rather the knowledge that you can become much stronger by training.

Once Poptart has started responding to the thread in depth again, I'm going to throw my hat into the SSJ4 ring with an expansion of my earlier ki network speculation.

I've run into a bit of an issue and I have no idea why. Here's the code in case anyone wants to help:
Code:
[accordion=bright|100%]{slide=Kakara Goku|center}The current Player Character, Kakara is a nine-year-old saiyan hybrid -- which, in the modern universe, is as saiyan as you get.

[accordion=bright|100%]{slide=Titles}

These are the formal positions of responsibility you hold.

Scion of Goku: You are the heir to the leadership of Clan Goku. While your Clan doesn't take its Lords as seriously as Clan Vegeta does, you are still expected to someday take responsibility for moderating between the fractious Houses and leading your Clan into battle, should the need ever arise.{/slide}
{slide=Willpower}

One of only two explicit stats in the game, this measures your drive and determination and modifies rolls of a d100.

+25 (+5 base, +10 from "Driven," +10 from "A Cause"), +35 when acting against Jaffur's Seal or Dandeer Vegeta.{/slide}
{slide=Power Level}More a tradition of the setting than anything else, this is the game's second explicit stat, and measures how much energy your body produces while in various states.

Base Power: 375 Million (At Cap).

Super Saiyan Boost: 145-750 Million (At Cap).

Total Transformed SSJ Power: 1.125 Billion.

Oozaru Power Level: 750 million (At Cap, speed of 375 million, durability and strength of 1.125 Billion).

Golden Oozaru Power Level: 1.5 Billion (At Cap, speed of 750 million, durability and strength of 2.25 Billion).

Masqued Power Level: 225 Million (Increasable through Masque acclimation).{/slide}
{slide=Defeats}These are your greatest failures and downfalls. This isn't indicative of anything mechanical; it's just a record of those moments when you've lost.

Jaffur's Sealing. You fought with Jaffur to prevent his Sealing at his Mother's hands...and you failed. You put up a valiant showing, taking your father across the globe in his attempts to help Dandeer, but ultimately circumstances beyond your control took the victory from you. Now Jaffur is as good as human...as far as you know, permanently.{/slide}
{slide=Victories}These are your greatest triumphs. Above and beyond a simple win while sparring, these are the landmark moments that define you in retrospect; the candidates for what you can call your finest hour.

None yet...[color=transparent]Ouch.[/color]{/slide}
{slide=Reputations}This is how people perceive you, in general. In a situation where your reputation precedes you, you can expect any relevant Reputations to come into play in the form of mechanical effects.

[s]Weakling: While few adults dare say anything to your face for fear of the consequences, your fellow children are more open. You are regarded as a despised weakling with no stomach or spine for fighting. While Scions are ordained by Seers at birth, many question why you of all people hold your position[/s].

"The Gold." You are the most powerful Saiyan to live since the Exile began. Through your discovery of the Golden Oozaru form, you have discovered a way to push the limits of the Saiyan race even further than you could already. You are, and will be remembered as, a legend. You stand apart, for the moment, atop the heap. Any Saiyan alive will treat your words with immense weight, and Ancestor Cultists will view you as the chief demigod of their faith and a living saint.

"The Mighty." You are the first Scion to have their first transformation in battle in centuries -- even Jaffur had his [i]after[/i] the fight was thoroughly concluded, and what followed was no fight. You ascended mid-battle and proceeded to fight a duel with another Super Saiyan, dominating the clash. While you consider the events that followed to be no victory, as far as the wider world knows you won a mighty victory over Jaffur and then hounded him across the planet before helping to put him down. You haven't disabused them of this conceit yet, although that may change. You are a figure of sheer awe and in some cases literally religious significance. The stain of perceived cowardice has been wiped clean, and in the eyes of many, your words hold immense weight.

Decisive: Your recent actions have led to a reputation for quick thinking and swift action in a crisis. Despite the misconceptions most hold regarding the matter, you must admit that your ability to act decisively is not one that's been exaggerated. In an urgent situation, people will more often look to you for direction.

Mysterious: The rumored-but-never-seen Scion responsible for the Sealing (as far as most people know, at least), who spends her time in public buried in ancient tomes or wreathed in power, who emerged from a meeting with the controversial Lady Vegeta alight with the full glory of a Super Saiyan -- you are a conundrum to Saiyan society. Few know anything about you, but all are eager to learn -- particularly those of your own age, given their previous willingness to spurn you in public. You are an object of intense focus by those around you.{/slide}
{slide=Traits}Your personality in a few words. This is who you are.

A Cause: Your mind has centered on the issue of Jaffur's Sealing since that summer at the Training Hall, and you find yourself repelled by the whole affair. Everything about it sickens and horrifies you, and rage at Lady Vegeta for her part in it never fails to follow on its heels. Behind these, though, lingers a more quiet, yet insistent conclusion: that this is [i]wrong[/i]. That everything about this situation, and everything leading up to it, was [i]wrong[/i]. And you will never let it happen again. Experiences heavy vote weighting in favor of options spiting or thwarting Dandeer Vegeta and must pass Willpower checks to act in line with her interests. Slight prejudice against sorcery and its practitioners gained. Gains +1 yearly action that must be used to mitigate or reverse the consequences of Jaffur's Sealing (if you can justify that it aids this to the QM, you can spend this action on it). +10 flat bonus to Willpower at all times, which spikes to +20 when acting against Lady Dandeer Vegeta or Jaffur's Seal.

Compassionate: Your first thought is often of helping others, and you find value and affirmation in making sure that the people around you are okay. Gain a small bonus to Medicine checks.

Convictions: A fearful whisper, let loose by Dandeer Vegeta, made you fear for your integrity and possible likeness to Lord Vegeta. Upon confronting this, you found...nothing. You [i]aren't[/i] like him, and your behavior was not out of line. You were in the right, and the knowledge of this has strengthened your faith in yourself. Gain a small bonus to all actions taken in what you believe to be in the service of right.

Decisive: While level-headed, you recognize that when a crisis beckons the time for waiting has passed and the time for action has come. In a time-critical situation, gain a small bonus to all actions that resolve or defuse the situation swiftly.

[s]Gentle [Foundational Trait]: You dislike fighting and violence, but this viewpoint is presently undeveloped. You gain combat traits, abilities, and skills more slowly, and may encounter barriers to improvement that cannot be surpassed without exceptional pressure. Positive effects: none yet…[/s]

Driven [Foundational Trait]: Some think your distaste for fighting makes you weak. Those people are [i]idiots[/i]. Gain a permanent +10 to all Willpower checks and +1 yearly action.

Hot-Blooded: While you are a gentle girl, you don't take kindly to insults or abuse. You have a fiery temper, and while you have great practice in restraining it, sometimes lose your head when the right insult is offered. Your QM will identify certain triggers. When those triggers are hit, heavy vote weighting will come into effect favoring aggressive and to a lesser extent violent responses.

Inquisitive: You like to know things and are none too shy about poking around until you find them out. Gain a small bonus to all actions to gather information.

Ki Prodigy: You have no equal in the art of using your ki, not in terms of raw talent. You have a far easier time increasing Ki Talents, gaining large bonuses to all training attempts, and have slight bonuses in increasing Ki Manipulation skills.

Level-Headed: You are a calm girl, at heart. You don't react to provocation easily, and keep your head when somebody is doing their level best to set you off. Gain a small bonus to all calm or patient actions.

Mature: You have been forced to make difficult choices and endure great pains and trials well before anybody your age should have. This experience has changed you in some undefinable yet easily-noticeable way, putting you a lonely step ahead of your peers. The QM will transcribe more age-inappropriate statements verbatim, and you gain a small bonus to all mental actions. You take a small penalty to interact normally with others of your age group, although you can counteract this with careful action.

Oddball: What everybody can agree on is that your mind works in strange ways. You tend to take people off-balance. Gain a slight bonus to any check involving you acting in unconventional ways, and a moderate bonus to take others off-guard in doing so.

Pacifist [Foundational Trait]: After hard experiences and a great deal of thought, you have refined your earlier opinions on fighting and violence. Where once you avoided them out of simple distaste, you now do so out of moral obligation. They aren't unpleasant, they're [i]wrong[/i]. You still need to learn how to live this way in a society filled with hot-blooded fighters, but you have your beliefs. You gain combat traits, abilities, and skills more slowly, and may encounter barriers to improvement that cannot be surpassed without exceptional pressure. You experience moderate vote weighting at all times against courses of action that result in violence. You gain a small bonus to any check that de-escalates a situation or peacefully resolves it. This may be developed further...

Socializer: You don't have many friends, but you like people, and it's hurt you deeply to be able to talk to so few of them. But when you get the chance, you tend to seek out others. Gain a small bonus to all Communication checks.{/slide}
{slide=Abilities}These are your transformations and esoteric talents. Like walking upright, or having tortured yourself through a year of screaming nights into having a numbed tail. You're not traumatized.

Oozaru, Mastered. Like any Saiyan with a tail, a simple glance upwards on the night of a full moon is all you need to become a colossal, ravening beast. After a long time spent practicing, you now can control this form. In it, your durability and raw strength are boosted by half again your nominal power level, but your speed is only half of your nominal power level. You experience no strain in this form, and can maintain it indefinitely. You of course also know the Power Ball technique.

Golden Oozaru, Grade One. You have discovered the secret of the Oozaru form, and transformed into a Super Saiyan whilst in it. This form does the same things to your durability, speed, and strength as normal Oozaru does. You suspect that if the Masquerade ever falls and Scions are permitted to try and break through to higher transformations, you will be able to use them as an Oozaru as well. Currently you can't use this form to its fullest extent even in the Training Hall for fear of breaking the wards, but fortunately you can still modulate how much of the Super Saiyan boost you access.

Seer, Untrained. Flashes of things to come, in odd moments. Dreams of what was. Visions of what will be. Odd layerings of deeper truths on the face of base reality. You are touched by something ancient and powerful, introduced into your bloodline via a curse on your ultimate ancestor Bardock, the first Super Saiyan. This is an incredibly rare gift, and in time you will become truly mighty with it. But for now it is a faltering thing, beyond your control. You will need extremely rigorous training to master it.

Super Saiyan, Full-Power. You have broken through your limits and tapped into your inner potential, unlocking the legendary ability of the Saiyan race. Having trained for a year in its use, you have mastered the form utterly. If is now as easy as breathing. As long as you are conscious, you may transform or detransform instantly and without effort, up to your full current maximum. Increase your base power cap to 375 million. Upon use, gain anywhere from 145 million to 750 million units at your absolute discretion of how many you would like to use.

Trained Tail. Out of sheer distaste for the weakness having your tail grabbed inspires, you literally tortured yourself for a year straight until it didn't bother you anymore. While the experience was somewhat traumatizing, you've nonetheless succeeded. Your tail is essentially discardable for all the fuss your pain receptors would put up over losing it.{/slide}
{slide=Skills}The meat of this Quest, these are your talents and capabilities -- the one thing that always triggers when you have to make an action.

[accordion=bright|100%]{slide=Non-Combat}Communication [Competent]: You are fairly adept in the art of speaking with others, although true skill is a long way off.

Deceit [Unlearned]: You have some experience in the arts of lying and subterfuge, and even some success, but it's no area of focus of yours.

Masque Affinity [Competent]: Recent and focused effort in the use of your Masque has lent you an ease of use that most of your people don't achieve. You are comfortable in it, and for all intents and purposes act alike to your normal form. The only points for improvement now are your power level, and your transformation time. You have access to 60% of your Base Power Level while Masqued, and take roughly 15 seconds to transform into it.

Medicine [Competent]: You've taken the first step down the path of healing, and are well-equipped to offer first aid or take care of minor bumps and scrapes.{/slide}
{slide=Combat}Overall Skill: Talented. While you dislike fighting, you've seriously buckled down and made the push to train your abilities past mere competence in all areas. You increase combat skills below "Talented" a little more quickly.

[accordion=bright|100%]{slide=Hand-to-Hand}Overall Skill: Talented. While you possess no special innate talent here, you have invested significant time and care into improving your skill, at the expense of other areas of your life. You increase hand-to-hand skills below "Talented" more quickly.

Dueling [Exceptional]: Despite your distaste for fighting, you made the effort to become above average in the art of combat. But you have fought Jaffur Vegeta, and once beat him, wounded or not. Your understanding of this has transcended mere talent and entered the realm of the truly exceptional. You are as proficient as any Saiyan has been since the Exile.

Crowd Fighting [Talented]: You use different moves when you're fighting half a dozen people than when you only have to be worried about one, but that's alright, because you haven't slacked off on your training here, either.

Team Fighting [Talented]: As Scion, you and your father will be expected to lead the Clan into battle should the need arise. As befits somebody of your station, you've put in the effort to effectively work around your allies.{/slide}
{slide=Ki Manipulation}Overall Skill: Talented. You are an acknowledged genius in the art of ki use in general, and to an extent that maps over to its use in battle. Your natural talent has carried you this far, which is no mean feat, but you shouldn't expect anything more without investing some time and effort. You increase Ki Manipulation skills below "Talented" more quickly.

Multiform [Competent]: While not [i]strictly[/i] a combat skill -- and in fact, combat is where it's weakest -- it's taught in combat curriculums. You have an acceptable grasp of its use and can form a single copy, with a minimum of fuss. That said, it is too slow to use while immediately engaged in battle, and your copy can't get more than a few miles away from you without dissolving. Although you can't keep it up constantly, at your current level of ability your talent in this skill gives you slightly more time to multitask, increasing yearly actions by 1.

Kamehameha Wave [Talented]: Few things are more stirring to a Saiyan than the sound of a Kamehameha. The iconic technique of your house, this was the first advanced skill you ever learned. Cup the energy, call the incantation, and let loose with a devastating ki wave.

Solar Flare [Talented]: Your Dad once told you that every fighter needs a way to disengage from a fight they don't want, which sounds pretty good to you. This might just be your favorite technique of all. A simple shout and your opponent is blinded.

Instant Transmission [Talented]: The peerless evasive technique, you have become incredibly talented in its use. Locking onto any ki signature you can sense as a guide, you can instantly teleport to another point.{/slide}
[/accordion]
{/slide}{slide=Ki Talents}Overall Skill: Talented. Here is where you shine. You are possessed of an incredible understanding of the way ki flows through the body for your age, as well as how to harness it. Yet even at your level of skill, you feel like you may be on verge of another breakthrough...but most of your talents are at a level beyond mere "talent," so you should have hit it already...shouldn't you have? You increase ki talents below "Talented" more quickly.

Ki Sense [Exceptional]: You possess something close to omniscience in the art of sensing ki. Even at the age of eight, you are never unaware of the movements of those around you. You can feel an insect a mile away or a normal human well over the horizon.

Flight [Talented]: You move through the air with ease and style. You didn't [i]quite[/i] fly before you ever walked, but it was a near thing.

Ki Control [Exceptional]: You can raise yourself to maximum power in a heartbeat, and drop it down as quickly if you ever need to avoid notice. You are in perfect control of yourself and your body at all times, and move with a nearly ethereal grace. You feel as though there is little you can do to directly improve your talents as they stand now...so why do you feel like there's more still to learn...?{/slide}
[/accordion]{/slide}
{slide=Styles}A warrior who hasn't united their disparate techniques into a cohesive whole is no warrior at all. This represents the overall approaches you are capable of taking in battle.

Goku Style [Incipient]: You know and use many of your ancestor Son Goku's techniques, and although you haven't put any effort into copying his form, some have said that you have begun to echo it. Traditionally, Scions of your House tend to, so it would at least make people happy. No effects yet...{/slide}
{slide=Relationships}This represents anybody of importance that you know.

[accordion=bright|100%]{slide=Allies}
Lord Berra Goku [Strong]: You love your father, but your faith in him has been deeply shaken by the events of Jaffur's Sealing. That said, despite the harsh words that passed between the two of you, you have arrived at a stable point in your relationship with each other. It took a lot of pain and shouting, but you have reaffirmed your love and devotion for each other as father and daughter, and nothing will take that from you.

Lady Kala Goku [Strong]: Your mother does not hold the same stigma as your father in your eyes. While she was also on board with the Sealing, she did not and in fact [i]could[/i] not take an active role in it. She was not the one to hound you and Jaffur down across the planet. She did not hold you immobile and force you to watch as Jaffur was forced into a locked Masque. She is no longer your idol, but you haven't lost as much faith in her.

Apra Goku [Strong]: Your Grandmother, whom you love, whom is [i]not[/i] happy about the Sealing. You've come clean about the truth of your role in it, and she was relieved to know you were against the whole affair. You can count on her support and influence in this matter, although her religious agenda makes her somewhat unpredictable.

Mato Goku [Dependable]: Your little brother is deeply envious of your position, and in particular the rights that come with it. He wants to be a Super Saiyan, and is jealous that you, who [i]doesn't[/i] want to have to use it at all, are the one to have it already. He is your brother and you both love each other, but it's hard to get along with him sometimes. Additional distance has grown between you with your father's choice to personally train Mato in the Oozaru form and not doing the same for you. You and your brother don't get along very well, but you are still siblings. You can depend on each other...for the moment.

Fasha Goku [Strong]: Your little sister, on the other hand, not only has no interest in being Scion, she's glad it's you. She has absolutely no desire for the responsibilities it entails, as much as she can even understand them at her age. She can be annoying, but she's your little sister and that's enough. You love her very much.

Endivan Goku [Strong]: Endivan, your [i]littlest[/i] sibling, is...sapient? You're pretty sure he is by now, although he's still the [i]littlest[/i] sibling. Seriously, like [i]wow[/i], he is small. And quiet, too. And shy. But he at least isn't obnoxious, so that's fine. At his current age you can't say much more than, "Yeah, that sure is some little brother I've got there," but do you really [i]need[/i] to say anything more? He's your baby brother. A discernible personality will come later. For now, he's your brother and that's all you need.

Sophie Schultz [Dependable]: Sophie dragged you out of your shell, and you're grateful to her for it. Over time, you've come to fit into the Misfits, and truly feel safe and happy while with them. You owe her a lot, like the rest, and she likes you as one of her best friends, just like the rest. But yeah, she's definitely got no idea how much you have going on.

Maya Webley [Dependable]: Maya is [i]so cute[/i]. She is the intersection of a shy girl, a particularly fluffy brown mouse, and the [i]living incarnation of the concept of Moe[/i]. She's like the ultimate little sister! You and the Misfits [i]love her![/i] She is shy and cute and adorable, and you will die to protect her. Come to think of it, though, you don't know her that well, she's just the kind of person whose entire being screams, "Shield me from mean things!" She rarely speaks up, but you've come to recognize that she has hidden depths that still remain beyond your reach. She no longer gives you strange looks, and seems to have become far more comfortable with you all of a sudden.

Jennifer Birch [Dependable]: Jenny is outspoken to the point of insane bluntness. It's no wonder it hasn't won her any friends outside the Misfits, and less that it made her the first to be pulled into Sophie's orbit along with Maya. Despite her (self-professed) rudeness, however, she's a good friend. Crass and often teasing, you've discovered a trickster-esque sense of humor in her, and a careful dedication to her friends despite her sometimes abrasive tongue.

Gemina Kostos [Dependable]: Gemma is [i]always[/i] buried in a book or notebook; she keeps one on her desk in class, and she reads or scribbles while she walks. Despite that, she always pays attention, and has a sarcastic sense of humor that emerges at odd moments to take you all by surprise. Before you came along, she was the newbie, by about a week. She has really good recommendations for books. Most assuredly the smart one, she is affectionately resigned to a life of dragging the rest of you through your studies, even if she has to take her eyes off her books to do it.{/slide}
{slide=Acquaintances}
House Senzu [?]: You have absolutely no idea where you stand with House Senzu. They're certainly pissed off at Saiyan society at large, having gone into hiding for who knows what purpose. You fought with them during Jaffur's Sealing, but who knows what they think of you now? They might even believe the official story; things got confusing towards the end, and all they would have seen would have been you standing still while Jaffur was Sealed. You'll have to contact them to learn more.

Betarel Senzu [?]: Betarel was your first friend in years, but like his family you have no idea what he thinks of you now. You...[i]really[/i] hope that he doesn't hate you.

Clan Vegeta [?]: You have not taken the pulse of the other half of Saiyan Society in any depth. It's common knowledge that they're pissed, but at you? You need more information.

Yammar Vegeta [?]: [i]Hoo boy[/i], is that a big question mark. You're near-certain he's not happy about the Sealing. Is he angry at you? Who knows?

Jaffur Vegeta [?]: You didn't have a great handle on him [i]before[/i] the question was rendered moot.

Jaron Somerlad [Positive]: You have just met him for the first time ever. He seems to be cripplingly nervous and terribly unsure of himself, but he didn't [i]hesitate[/i] to help Sophie against an upper-classman who shoved her in the hall. You've chosen to welcome him into the Misfits along with the rest of your friends. You're not friends, not yet, but given Sophie's obvious crush on him, you're sure to get the chance to change that.

Carrick Balor [Neutral]: Your teacher in the art of Bardock's Craft, Sensei Balor is a grouchy old man with little interest in social niceties and an abrupt manner of doing things. You're still sounding out your place with him, and have no idea what he thinks of you. All you know is that he expects a lot from you, and is going to teach you everything he knows about the Sight.

Peapa Dram [Positive]: A healer and your former Oozaru instructor, you don't know Peapa terribly well, and she didn't seem terribly interested in the lessons she's giving you, but she's nice and you like her well enough.

Fennella Peat [Friendly]: You met Fennella at the First Garenhuld Ancestral Council. While she was terribly nervous in the presence of somebody of such critical importance to the Cult at first, through the power of food and calm discussion you have managed to break through to her and secure a tentative friendship.{/slide}
{slide=Enemies}
Lord Vegeta Vegeta [Avowed]: You [i]do not care[/i] that he's as much a victim as Jaffur is. His aura screams [i]cruel, distant, [/i]and [i]cold[/i], and you've seen him maim his son in front of an audience of hundreds. You're not sure what he thinks of you, but again, you [i]don't care.[/i] He is a monster.

Lady Dandeer Vegeta [Hated]: You [i]hate[/i] this woman so much. You have never hated anybody as much as you've hated her. (OOC, I'll tell you that you hate her as much as it's physically capable for a nine-year-old to hate somebody) Hate is a strong word. She has [i]earned it[/i]. You don't like fighting. For her, you are unhesitatingly willing to make an exception, if only it weren't for the fact that [i]Jaffur gets her first[/i].

The Enemy [Serious]: Every Saiyan alive is under existential levels of threat from this mysterious shadow of a being. It has killed gods, and the death of one coupled with the annihilation of Old Earth was not sufficient to see it dead. Nobody knows what it is or why it wants you and yours dead, but you don't need to in order to fear it. Given the centuries and (let it be so) light-years of distance it's hard to hold onto any level of personal antipathy for whatever this is, but if there's a single being in Creation who could rally every Saiyan alive to unified action, this is the one.{/slide}[/accordion]{/slide}

{slide=Saiyans|center}[accordion=bright|100%]{slide=Clan Goku|center}[accordion=bright|100%]{slide=Berra Goku}Lord Berra Goku, the Lord Goku. Thirty-six years old. You call him "Dad," and only recently got [i]far[/i] too grown-up to call him "Daddy." Your Dad is an immensely accomplished warrior, and is noted as the best acknowledged master of the Goku Style since the Exile began. While his achievements are only a shadow of what once was the height of Saiyan prowess, in this new world he is the closest thing to a god -- an authority well beyond the ability of mere mortals to challenge the rulings of. Since the Sealing, you have lost your lofty view of him, and though you have reconciled, can likely never go back to the way things once were. Your father, you now recognize, is a man who defines himself by his failures, and inflicts endless punishment upon himself for them. He lives in the past, because he cannot bring himself to leave it behind.

[accordion=bright|100%]{slide=Titles}Lord Goku: Clan Goku has little regard for nobility in civilian life, but nonetheless respects your Dad as a patient and wise mediator in the disputes between Houses. He has made many friends, but in a world where he is the ultimate authority by virtue of having removed the only organized competition, he has also acquired many enemies.{/slide}
{slide=Willpower}Unknown.{/slide}
{slide=Power Level}Power Level: 375 Million (at cap).

Super Saiyan Boost: 750 Million (mastered, at cap).

Total transformed power: 1.125 Billion (mastered, at cap).{/slide}
{slide=Defeats}The Sundering: Your father and Lord Vegeta were once best friends, until your father gave voice to his opinions on the Death of Talt. They have been bitter enemies since, and the consequences of that day have literally defined the shape of modern saiyan politics, most definitively for the worse. It is your father's single largest regret, the failure that he has since defined himself by.{/slide}
{slide=Victories}Jaffur's Sealing. In Sealing Jaffur, your father saw an opportunity to reverse some of the harm he did in the Sundering. His victory that day took a weight off of his shoulders that he had been bearing for years, even though he must constantly deal with the fallout.{/slide}
{slide=Reputations}"The Wise." Your father has a solid reputation as a capable mediator and administrator, who acts with patience and responsibility. He has successfully maintained the order of law in Clan Goku since his rise to the station of Lord, and even in these troubled times continues to do so with ease and aplomb while lending his support to the Regent Lady Vegeta's faltering rule.{/slide}
{slide=Traits}As the Rocks [Former Foundational Trait]: Your father is widely known for never acting without careful consideration of all points of view. If he were the PC he would experience constant and heavy vote weighting on all options in favor of patience, and he does receive large bonuses to any actions taken in moderation.

Ally to Good, Nightmare to You [Foundational Trait]: Your Dad speaks often and passionately about the importance of right behavior. Of everybody you know, you would call only him a true hero. He receives massive bonuses on all actions taken in what he [i]believes[/i] to be in the service of right.

Atoner [Foundational Trait]: Your father feels intense guilt for the mistakes he's made over the course of his life, having spent years being forced to watch as everything he strove forward spun out of control as a direct result of his choices. He will [i]nearly always[/i] decide to immediately commit to whatever course of action he views as permissible that will allow him to mitigate or reverse any consequences of his failures, and benefits from the full bonus of "Ally to Good, Nightmare to You" on any checks made in service to that course of action.{/slide}
{slide=Abilities}Full-Power Super Saiyan: Your Dad has accessed and mastered the titanic well of strength within every Saiyan, and wears the authority from it very comfortably.{/slide}
{slide=Skills}You haven't taken inventory of his skills, but you know a bit about what he can do, mostly in a fight.

[accordion=bright|100%]{slide=Non-Combat}Communication [At least Exceptional]: Your father is the most successful Lord of Clan Goku in all history, keeping even the rebellious House Peat largely quiescent and confined to clandestine means of unrest. He is an acknowledged master in the art of diplomacy.

Mind Delve [Competent]: Your father has learned and mastered the basics of delving another's mind for information, a handy skill for a ruler.
{/slide}
{slide=Combat}Overall Skill: Unknown. In addition to his skill at politics, your father is a mighty warrior, though not the greatest ever produced by the Clans.

[accordion=bright|100%]{slide=Hand-to-Hand}Overall Skill: Exceptional. Your father, as a master of the Goku style, has made this his point of true focus.{/slide}
{slide=Ki Manipulation}Overall Skill: Unknown. You doubt that your father has practiced this as thoroughly as he has his hand-to-hand, given his style choices. He has a few stand-outs, but you suspect little else.

Kamehameha Wave [Exceptional]: You know he has practiced this to exhaustion.

Instant Transmission [Exceptional]: The contribution your father made to the Goku style that propelled him into mastery was his full integration of Instant Transmission into the form, turning it from a side-note to an integral aspect of maneuver. It has yet to fully propagate among other Stylists, but doubtlessly will in time.

Kaio-Ken [Competent]: Your father is the designated Oozaru Suppression Specialist of the Lords, tasked with securing against the terrifying prospect of an Oozaru with control of the Kaio-Ken revolting. He has practiced this technique with one purpose only: to survive its use as a Super Saiyan for long enough to put the rebel down, and then suffer the consequences. It is his option of last, desperate resort.

Solar Flare [Competent]: Another part of the Goku style, your father has paid significantly less attention to this than Instant Transmission.

Kienzan [Exceptional]: Your father doesn't bring it up when he can avoid it, but you know that this is his option of first resort in his role as OSS.{/slide}
[/accordion]
{/slide}{slide=Ki Talents}Overall Skill: Unknown. Your father can sense a cluster of saiyans from around the world, but that's everybody, really, given that they had power levels in the millions. You have nothing to go on for his generic ki talents.{/slide}
[/accordion]{/slide}
{slide=Styles}Goku Style [Master]: Some call your father Goku come again, and it's easy to see why. He has delved into your ancestor's application of the Turtle School Style of fighting, learnt its every secret, and advanced the style to new heights with his contribution of a fuller integration of Instant Transmission as an essential part of the style's maneuvering. His mastery of its forms is awe-inspiring.

Turtle School Style/Roshi Style [Practitioner]: As part of his extensive study of the Goku Style, your father also learned the Turtle style which it sprang from in order to better understand its context. However, his focus is not here, and his facility with it is neither particularly impressive nor overly embarrassing.

Krillin Style [Novice]: In addition, your father studied Krillin's interpretation of the form, although he devoted even less effort to mastering this, leaving him with an anemic understanding of its principles.

Yamcha Style [Novice]: While once he paid it no mind, your Father has recently expanded his scholarship of the Turtle Style Family to Yamcha's in a strange sort of memorial to Bricca Talt. He is only a novice in its ways as of yet).
{/slide}
{slide=Relationships}[accordion=bright|100%]{slide=Allies}Kakara Goku [Strong]: Your father, while conflicted, confused, and angry about the tension between the two of you, has set that aside and reaffirmed his relationship with you. Jaffur's Sealing still hangs over you both, but he won't initiate that collision.

Kala Goku [Best]: Your father and mother are more devoted to each other than any two people you have ever known. Trying to comprehend the closeness they share leaves you feeling confused and vaguely lacking as a person.

Dandeer Vegeta [Dependable]: Your father and Dandeer are old friends and close political allies.{/slide}
{slide=Acquaintances}{/slide}
{slide=Enemies}House Senzu [Serious]: Your father has made his position clear: Head Raditz's attempt at transforming during the Sealing was lawbreaking and as good as treason. Their rebellion against Dandeer Vegeta since is only worse, in his eyes. He seems to regret the situation, but shows no signs of backing down.{/slide}[/accordion]{/slide}

Well, here's my own shot at formatting the character sheet:

Kakara Goku
The current Player Character, Kakara is a nine-year-old saiyan hybrid -- which, in the modern universe, is as saiyan as you get.

Titles

These are the formal positions of responsibility you hold.

Scion of Goku: You are the heir to the leadership of Clan Goku. While your Clan doesn't take its Lords as seriously as Clan Vegeta does, you are still expected to someday take responsibility for moderating between the fractious Houses and leading your Clan into battle, should the need ever arise.
Willpower

One of only two explicit stats in the game, this measures your drive and determination and modifies rolls of a d100.

+25 (+5 base, +10 from "Driven," +10 from "A Cause"), +35 when acting against Jaffur's Seal or Dandeer Vegeta.
Power Level
More a tradition of the setting than anything else, this is the game's second explicit stat, and measures how much energy your body produces while in various states.

Masqued Power Level: 225 Million (Increasable through Masque acclimation).
Defeats
These are your greatest failures and downfalls. This isn't indicative of anything mechanical; it's just a record of those moments when you've lost.

Jaffur's Sealing. You fought with Jaffur to prevent his Sealing at his Mother's hands...and you failed. You put up a valiant showing, taking your father across the globe in his attempts to help Dandeer, but ultimately circumstances beyond your control took the victory from you. Now Jaffur is as good as human...as far as you know, permanently.
Victories
These are your greatest triumphs. Above and beyond a simple win while sparring, these are the landmark moments that define you in retrospect; the candidates for what you can call your finest hour.

None yet...Ouch.
Reputations
This is how people perceive you, in general. In a situation where your reputation precedes you, you can expect any relevant Reputations to come into play in the form of mechanical effects.

Weakling: While few adults dare say anything to your face for fear of the consequences, your fellow children are more open. You are regarded as a despised weakling with no stomach or spine for fighting. While Scions are ordained by Seers at birth, many question why you of all people hold your position.

"The Mighty." You are the first Scion to have their first transformation in battle in centuries -- even Jaffur had his after the fight was thoroughly concluded, and what followed was no fight.

Mysterious: The rumored-but-never-seen Scion responsible for the Sealing (as far as most people know, at least), who spends her time in public buried in ancient tomes or wreathed in power, who emerged from a meeting with the controversial Lady Vegeta alight with the full glory of a Super Saiyan -- you are a conundrum to Saiyan society. Few know anything about you, but all are eager to learn -- particularly those of your own age, given their previous willingness to spurn you in public. You are an object of intense focus by those around you.
Traits
Your personality in a few words.

Behind these, though, lingers a more quiet, yet insistent conclusion: that this is wrong. That everything about this situation, and everything leading up to it, was wrong.

You aren't like him, and your behavior was not out of line.

Gentle [Foundational Trait]: You dislike fighting and violence, but this viewpoint is presently undeveloped. You gain combat traits, abilities, and skills more slowly, and may encounter barriers to improvement that cannot be surpassed without exceptional pressure. Positive effects: none yet…

Driven [Foundational Trait]: Some think your distaste for fighting makes you weak. Those people are idiots.

They aren't unpleasant, they're wrong.

Socializer: You don't have many friends, but you like people, and it's hurt you deeply to be able to talk to so few of them. But when you get the chance, you tend to seek out others. Gain a small bonus to all Communication checks.
Abilities
These are your transformations and esoteric talents.

Trained Tail. Out of sheer distaste for the weakness having your tail grabbed inspires, you literally tortured yourself for a year straight until it didn't bother you anymore. While the experience was somewhat traumatizing, you've nonetheless succeeded. Your tail is essentially discardable for all the fuss your pain receptors would put up over losing it.
Skills
The meat of this Quest, these are your talents and capabilities -- the one thing that always triggers when you have to make an action.

Non-Combat
Communication [Competent]: You are fairly adept in the art of speaking with others, although true skill is a long way off.

Medicine [Competent]: You've taken the first step down the path of healing, and are well-equipped to offer first aid or take care of minor bumps and scrapes.
Combat
Overall Skill: Talented. While you dislike fighting, you've seriously buckled down and made the push to train your abilities past mere competence in all areas. You increase combat skills below "Talented" a little more quickly.

Hand-to-Hand
Overall Skill: Talented.

Team Fighting [Talented]: As Scion, you and your father will be expected to lead the Clan into battle should the need arise. As befits somebody of your station, you've put in the effort to effectively work around your allies.
Ki Manipulation
Overall Skill: Talented.

Multiform [Competent]: While not strictly a combat skill -- and in fact, combat is where it's weakest -- it's taught in combat curriculums.

Instant Transmission [Talented]: The peerless evasive technique, you have become incredibly talented in its use. Locking onto any ki signature you can sense as a guide, you can instantly teleport to another point.

Ki Talents
Overall Skill: Talented.

You didn't quite fly before you ever walked, but it was a near thing.

Ki Control [Exceptional]: You can raise yourself to maximum power in a heartbeat, and drop it down as quickly if you ever need to avoid notice. You are in perfect control of yourself and your body at all times, and move with a nearly ethereal grace. You feel as though there is little you can do to directly improve your talents as they stand now...so why do you feel like there's more still to learn...?
Styles
A warrior who hasn't united their disparate techniques into a cohesive whole is no warrior at all. This represents the overall approaches you are capable of taking in battle.

Goku Style [Incipient]: You know and use many of your ancestor Son Goku's techniques, and although you haven't put any effort into copying his form, some have said that you have begun to echo it. Traditionally, Scions of your House tend to, so it would at least make people happy. No effects yet...
Relationships
This represents anybody of importance that you know.

Allies

Lord Berra Goku [Strong]: You love your father, but your faith in him has been deeply shaken by the events of Jaffur's Sealing. That said, despite the harsh words that passed between the two of you, you have arrived at a stable point in your relationship with each other. It took a lot of pain and shouting, but you have reaffirmed your love and devotion for each other as father and daughter, and nothing will take that from you.

Lady Kala Goku [Strong]: Your mother does not hold the same stigma as your father in your eyes. While she was also on board with the Sealing, she did not and in fact could not take an active role in it. She was not the one to hound you and Jaffur down across the planet. She did not hold you immobile and force you to watch as Jaffur was forced into a locked Masque. She is no longer your idol, but you haven't lost as much faith in her.

Apra Goku [Strong]: Your Grandmother, whom you love, whom is not happy about the Sealing.

He wants to be a Super Saiyan, and is jealous that you, who doesn't want to have to use it at all, are the one to have it already.

Endivan Goku [Strong]: Endivan, your littlest sibling, is...sapient? You're pretty sure he is by now, although he's still the littlest sibling. Seriously, like wow, he is small. And quiet, too. And shy. But he at least isn't obnoxious, so that's fine. At his current age you can't say much more than, "Yeah, that sure is some little brother I've got there," but do you really need to say anything more? He's your baby brother. A discernible personality will come later. For now, he's your brother and that's all you need.

Sophie Schultz [Dependable]: Sophie dragged you out of your shell, and you're grateful to her for it. Over time, you've come to fit into the Misfits, and truly feel safe and happy while with them. You owe her a lot, like the rest, and she likes you as one of her best friends, just like the rest. But yeah, she's definitely got no idea how much you have going on.

Maya Webley [Dependable]: Maya is so cute. She is the intersection of a shy girl, a particularly fluffy brown mouse, and the living incarnation of the concept of Moe. She's like the ultimate little sister! You and the Misfits love her! She is shy and cute and adorable, and you will die to protect her.

Gemina Kostos [Dependable]: Gemma is always buried in a book or notebook; she keeps one on her desk in class, and she reads or scribbles while she walks. Despite that, she always pays attention, and has a sarcastic sense of humor that emerges at odd moments to take you all by surprise. Before you came along, she was the newbie, by about a week. She has really good recommendations for books. Most assuredly the smart one, she is affectionately resigned to a life of dragging the rest of you through your studies, even if she has to take her eyes off her books to do it.
Acquaintances

House Senzu [?]: You have absolutely no idea where you stand with House Senzu. They're certainly pissed off at Saiyan society at large, having gone into hiding for who knows what purpose. You fought with them during Jaffur's Sealing, but who knows what they think of you now? They might even believe the official story; things got confusing towards the end, and all they would have seen would have been you standing still while Jaffur was Sealed. You'll have to contact them to learn more.

Betarel Senzu [?]: Betarel was your first friend in years, but like his family you have no idea what he thinks of you now. You...really hope that he doesn't hate you.

Clan Vegeta [?]: You have not taken the pulse of the other half of Saiyan Society in any depth. It's common knowledge that they're pissed, but at you? You need more information.

Yammar Vegeta [?]: Hoo boy, is that a big question mark. You're near-certain he's not happy about the Sealing. Is he angry at you? Who knows?

Jaffur Vegeta [?]: You didn't have a great handle on him before the question was rendered moot.

Jaron Somerlad [Positive]: You have just met him for the first time ever. He seems to be cripplingly nervous and terribly unsure of himself, but he didn't hesitate to help Sophie against an upper-classman who shoved her in the hall.

Fennella Peat [Friendly]: You met Fennella at the First Garenhuld Ancestral Council. While she was terribly nervous in the presence of somebody of such critical importance to the Cult at first, through the power of food and calm discussion you have managed to break through to her and secure a tentative friendship.
Enemies

Lord Vegeta Vegeta [Avowed]: You do not care that he's as much a victim as Jaffur is. His aura screams cruel, distant, and cold, and you've seen him maim his son in front of an audience of hundreds. You're not sure what he thinks of you, but again, you don't care. He is a monster.

Lady Dandeer Vegeta [Hated]: You hate this woman so much. You have never hated anybody as much as you've hated her. (OOC, I'll tell you that you hate her as much as it's physically capable for a nine-year-old to hate somebody) Hate is a strong word. She has earned it. You don't like fighting. For her, you are unhesitatingly willing to make an exception, if only it weren't for the fact that Jaffur gets her first.

The Enemy [Serious]: Every Saiyan alive is under existential levels of threat from this mysterious shadow of a being. It has killed gods, and the death of one coupled with the annihilation of Old Earth was not sufficient to see it dead. Nobody knows what it is or why it wants you and yours dead, but you don't need to in order to fear it. Given the centuries and (let it be so) light-years of distance it's hard to hold onto any level of personal antipathy for whatever this is, but if there's a single being in Creation who could rally every Saiyan alive to unified action, this is the one.

Saiyans
Clan Goku
Berra Goku
Lord Berra Goku, the Lord Goku. Thirty-six years old. You call him "Dad," and only recently got far too grown-up to call him "Daddy." Your Dad is an immensely accomplished warrior, and is noted as the best acknowledged master of the Goku Style since the Exile began.

Titles
Lord Goku: Clan Goku has little regard for nobility in civilian life, but nonetheless respects your Dad as a patient and wise mediator in the disputes between Houses. He has made many friends, but in a world where he is the ultimate authority by virtue of having removed the only organized competition, he has also acquired many enemies.
Willpower
Unknown.
Power Level
Power Level: 375 Million (at cap).

Super Saiyan Boost: 750 Million (mastered, at cap).

Total transformed power: 1.125 Billion (mastered, at cap).
Defeats
The Sundering: Your father and Lord Vegeta were once best friends, until your father gave voice to his opinions on the Death of Talt. They have been bitter enemies since, and the consequences of that day have literally defined the shape of modern saiyan politics, most definitively for the worse. It is your father's single largest regret, the failure that he has since defined himself by.
Victories
Jaffur's Sealing. In Sealing Jaffur, your father saw an opportunity to reverse some of the harm he did in the Sundering. His victory that day took a weight off of his shoulders that he had been bearing for years, even though he must constantly deal with the fallout.
Reputations
"The Wise." Your father has a solid reputation as a capable mediator and administrator, who acts with patience and responsibility. He has successfully maintained the order of law in Clan Goku since his rise to the station of Lord, and even in these troubled times continues to do so with ease and aplomb while lending his support to the Regent Lady Vegeta's faltering rule.
Traits
As the Rocks [Former Foundational Trait]: Your father is widely known for never acting without careful consideration of all points of view.

He receives massive bonuses on all actions taken in what he believes to be in the service of right.

Atoner [Foundational Trait]: Your father feels intense guilt for the mistakes he's made over the course of his life, having spent years being forced to watch as everything he strove forward spun out of control as a direct result of his choices. He will nearly always decide to immediately commit to whatever course of action he views as permissible that will allow him to mitigate or reverse any consequences of his failures, and benefits from the full bonus of "Ally to Good, Nightmare to You" on any checks made in service to that course of action.
Abilities
Full-Power Super Saiyan: Your Dad has accessed and mastered the titanic well of strength within every Saiyan, and wears the authority from it very comfortably.
Skills
You haven't taken inventory of his skills, but you know a bit about what he can do, mostly in a fight.

Non-Combat
Communication [At least Exceptional]: Your father is the most successful Lord of Clan Goku in all history, keeping even the rebellious House Peat largely quiescent and confined to clandestine means of unrest. He is an acknowledged master in the art of diplomacy.

Mind Delve [Competent]: Your father has learned and mastered the basics of delving another's mind for information, a handy skill for a ruler.
Combat
Overall Skill: Unknown. In addition to his skill at politics, your father is a mighty warrior, though not the greatest ever produced by the Clans.

Hand-to-Hand
Overall Skill: Exceptional. Your father, as a master of the Goku style, has made this his point of true focus.
Ki Manipulation
Overall Skill: Unknown.

Kienzan [Exceptional]: Your father doesn't bring it up when he can avoid it, but you know that this is his option of first resort in his role as OSS.

Ki Talents
Overall Skill: Unknown. Your father can sense a cluster of saiyans from around the world, but that's everybody, really, given that they had power levels in the millions. You have nothing to go on for his generic ki talents.
Styles
Goku Style [Master]: Some call your father Goku come again, and it's easy to see why.

Relationships
Allies
Kakara Goku [Strong]: Your father, while conflicted, confused, and angry about the tension between the two of you, has set that aside and reaffirmed his relationship with you.

Dandeer Vegeta [Dependable]: Your father and Dandeer are old friends and close political allies.
Acquaintances
Enemies
House Senzu [Serious]: Your father has made his position clear: Head Raditz's attempt at transforming during the Sealing was lawbreaking and as good as treason. Their rebellion against Dandeer Vegeta since is only worse, in his eyes. He seems to regret the situation, but shows no signs of backing down.

As you can see, I've run into a bit of an issue with the human category, and I have no idea why. Here's the code in case anyone wants to help:
Code:
[accordion=bright|100%]{slide=Kakara Goku|center}The current Player Character, Kakara is a nine-year-old saiyan hybrid -- which, in the modern universe, is as saiyan as you get.

[accordion=bright|100%]{slide=Titles}

These are the formal positions of responsibility you hold.

Scion of Goku: You are the heir to the leadership of Clan Goku. While your Clan doesn't take its Lords as seriously as Clan Vegeta does, you are still expected to someday take responsibility for moderating between the fractious Houses and leading your Clan into battle, should the need ever arise.{/slide}
{slide=Willpower}

One of only two explicit stats in the game, this measures your drive and determination and modifies rolls of a d100.

+25 (+5 base, +10 from "Driven," +10 from "A Cause"), +35 when acting against Jaffur's Seal or Dandeer Vegeta.{/slide}

Masqued Power Level: 225 Million (Increasable through Masque acclimation).{/slide}
{slide=Defeats}These are your greatest failures and downfalls. This isn't indicative of anything mechanical; it's just a record of those moments when you've lost.

Jaffur's Sealing. You fought with Jaffur to prevent his Sealing at his Mother's hands...and you failed. You put up a valiant showing, taking your father across the globe in his attempts to help Dandeer, but ultimately circumstances beyond your control took the victory from you. Now Jaffur is as good as human...as far as you know, permanently.{/slide}
{slide=Victories}These are your greatest triumphs. Above and beyond a simple win while sparring, these are the landmark moments that define you in retrospect; the candidates for what you can call your finest hour.

None yet...[color=transparent]Ouch.[/color]{/slide}

Mysterious: The rumored-but-never-seen Scion responsible for the Sealing (as far as most people know, at least), who spends her time in public buried in ancient tomes or wreathed in power, who emerged from a meeting with the controversial Lady Vegeta alight with the full glory of a Super Saiyan -- you are a conundrum to Saiyan society. Few know anything about you, but all are eager to learn -- particularly those of your own age, given their previous willingness to spurn you in public. You are an object of intense focus by those around you.{/slide}

Socializer: You don't have many friends, but you like people, and it's hurt you deeply to be able to talk to so few of them. But when you get the chance, you tend to seek out others. Gain a small bonus to all Communication checks.{/slide}

Trained Tail. Out of sheer distaste for the weakness having your tail grabbed inspires, you literally tortured yourself for a year straight until it didn't bother you anymore. While the experience was somewhat traumatizing, you've nonetheless succeeded. Your tail is essentially discardable for all the fuss your pain receptors would put up over losing it.{/slide}

Medicine [Competent]: You've taken the first step down the path of healing, and are well-equipped to offer first aid or take care of minor bumps and scrapes.{/slide}

Team Fighting [Talented]: As Scion, you and your father will be expected to lead the Clan into battle should the need arise. As befits somebody of your station, you've put in the effort to effectively work around your allies.{/slide}

Instant Transmission [Talented]: The peerless evasive technique, you have become incredibly talented in its use. Locking onto any ki signature you can sense as a guide, you can instantly teleport to another point.{/slide}

Ki Control [Exceptional]: You can raise yourself to maximum power in a heartbeat, and drop it down as quickly if you ever need to avoid notice. You are in perfect control of yourself and your body at all times, and move with a nearly ethereal grace. You feel as though there is little you can do to directly improve your talents as they stand now...so why do you feel like there's more still to learn...?{/slide}
[/accordion]{/slide}
{slide=Styles}A warrior who hasn't united their disparate techniques into a cohesive whole is no warrior at all. This represents the overall approaches you are capable of taking in battle.

Goku Style [Incipient]: You know and use many of your ancestor Son Goku's techniques, and although you haven't put any effort into copying his form, some have said that you have begun to echo it. Traditionally, Scions of your House tend to, so it would at least make people happy. No effects yet...{/slide}
{slide=Relationships}This represents anybody of importance that you know.

[accordion=bright|100%]{slide=Allies}

Gemina Kostos [Dependable]: Gemma is [i]always[/i] buried in a book or notebook; she keeps one on her desk in class, and she reads or scribbles while she walks. Despite that, she always pays attention, and has a sarcastic sense of humor that emerges at odd moments to take you all by surprise. Before you came along, she was the newbie, by about a week. She has really good recommendations for books. Most assuredly the smart one, she is affectionately resigned to a life of dragging the rest of you through your studies, even if she has to take her eyes off her books to do it.{/slide}
{slide=Acquaintances}

Fennella Peat [Friendly]: You met Fennella at the First Garenhuld Ancestral Council. While she was terribly nervous in the presence of somebody of such critical importance to the Cult at first, through the power of food and calm discussion you have managed to break through to her and secure a tentative friendship.{/slide}
{slide=Enemies}

The Enemy [Serious]: Every Saiyan alive is under existential levels of threat from this mysterious shadow of a being. It has killed gods, and the death of one coupled with the annihilation of Old Earth was not sufficient to see it dead. Nobody knows what it is or why it wants you and yours dead, but you don't need to in order to fear it. Given the centuries and (let it be so) light-years of distance it's hard to hold onto any level of personal antipathy for whatever this is, but if there's a single being in Creation who could rally every Saiyan alive to unified action, this is the one.{/slide}[/accordion]{/slide}

[accordion=bright|100%]{slide=Titles}Lord Goku: Clan Goku has little regard for nobility in civilian life, but nonetheless respects your Dad as a patient and wise mediator in the disputes between Houses. He has made many friends, but in a world where he is the ultimate authority by virtue of having removed the only organized competition, he has also acquired many enemies.{/slide}
{slide=Willpower}Unknown.{/slide}
{slide=Power Level}Power Level: 375 Million (at cap).

Super Saiyan Boost: 750 Million (mastered, at cap).

Total transformed power: 1.125 Billion (mastered, at cap).{/slide}
{slide=Defeats}The Sundering: Your father and Lord Vegeta were once best friends, until your father gave voice to his opinions on the Death of Talt. They have been bitter enemies since, and the consequences of that day have literally defined the shape of modern saiyan politics, most definitively for the worse. It is your father's single largest regret, the failure that he has since defined himself by.{/slide}
{slide=Victories}Jaffur's Sealing. In Sealing Jaffur, your father saw an opportunity to reverse some of the harm he did in the Sundering. His victory that day took a weight off of his shoulders that he had been bearing for years, even though he must constantly deal with the fallout.{/slide}
{slide=Reputations}"The Wise." Your father has a solid reputation as a capable mediator and administrator, who acts with patience and responsibility. He has successfully maintained the order of law in Clan Goku since his rise to the station of Lord, and even in these troubled times continues to do so with ease and aplomb while lending his support to the Regent Lady Vegeta's faltering rule.{/slide}

Atoner [Foundational Trait]: Your father feels intense guilt for the mistakes he's made over the course of his life, having spent years being forced to watch as everything he strove forward spun out of control as a direct result of his choices. He will [i]nearly always[/i] decide to immediately commit to whatever course of action he views as permissible that will allow him to mitigate or reverse any consequences of his failures, and benefits from the full bonus of "Ally to Good, Nightmare to You" on any checks made in service to that course of action.{/slide}
{slide=Abilities}Full-Power Super Saiyan: Your Dad has accessed and mastered the titanic well of strength within every Saiyan, and wears the authority from it very comfortably.{/slide}

{/slide}
{slide=Combat}Overall Skill: Unknown. In addition to his skill at politics, your father is a mighty warrior, though not the greatest ever produced by the Clans.

[accordion=bright|100%]{slide=Hand-to-Hand}Overall Skill: Exceptional. Your father, as a master of the Goku style, has made this his point of true focus.{/slide}

Kienzan [Exceptional]: Your father doesn't bring it up when he can avoid it, but you know that this is his option of first resort in his role as OSS.{/slide}
[/accordion]
{/slide}{slide=Ki Talents}Overall Skill: Unknown. Your father can sense a cluster of saiyans from around the world, but that's everybody, really, given that they had power levels in the millions. You have nothing to go on for his generic ki talents.{/slide}
[/accordion]{/slide}

{/slide}

Dandeer Vegeta [Dependable]: Your father and Dandeer are old friends and close political allies.{/slide}
{slide=Acquaintances}{/slide}
{slide=Enemies}House Senzu [Serious]: Your father has made his position clear: Head Raditz's attempt at transforming during the Sealing was lawbreaking and as good as treason. Their rebellion against Dandeer Vegeta since is only worse, in his eyes. He seems to regret the situation, but shows no signs of backing down.{/slide}[/accordion]{/slide}

*slightly amused* That is what I'm formatting at the moment, yes. Thank you for saving me the work. *yoink* :D

Holy f*ck what is WRONG WITH THIS FORMATTING?! I CAN SEE WHERE THE PROBLEM IS, WHY DOES IT REFUSE TO BE FIXED?

Why can nothing on this project go right?

Okay! Break for the day. I'm going to hold off on the front page for a bit to regroup and pump out an update for this and my other quest. Then, in all likelihood, I'll adopt a scorched-earth policy, and simply redo the accordion formatting from scratch so that whatever tiny, unnoticeable tag buried under dozens upon hundreds of lines of code that's f*cking this up dies for sure.

Good news is that accordions are actually kind of perfect for this job once you get over the fact that they're only slightly less of a pain to format than tabs. I'm sure a way exists to make the tabs cooperate and end up doing the thing I was trying to make them do. It would have been pretty. I'm pretty sure, given sufficient time and thought, I would have managed it.

F*ck that noise. F*ck it hard. Accordions are the way to go!

Oh bless you you beautiful man how did you do that? *yoink* I will gladly fill in all those slides if it means I don't have to code anything else tonight.

Oh my god- it's me two years ago. Like, word-for-word.

The problem seems to be pretty much solved but have you looked at Embers in the Dusk's formatting? It's even got nested stuff.

I have, yes. Durin has my profound respect for the effort they put into running such a gargantuan quest in scope, length, and detail. I feel like I need to approach it in terms of engineering rather than writing. But yeah, that one is a sterling example.
