Hmm...not sure how I feel about my idea having popped up in a fan comic. I guess I should stop calling it "my idea" for one...
But anyway, if the GM says that USS-imbuing will work here, maybe we should work towards it? Striking power superior to SS2 is a worthwhile thing to have and an excellent ace up our sleeve. We need something that can give us an edge against Berra.

This is the first thing I recall that takesdirect inspiration from it. Most of the timelines have single point difference and the fighters are taken from about the time GT would start though it doesn't consider it cannon.
So you have timelines in which each of the villains won, timeline in which Vegito didn't defuse, in which the kaioshin killed frieza so the saiyan live, in which Goku didn't hit his head and joined the saiyan, in which the same happened but humans won, in which all namekians fused to kill Frieza and the like.

-but, seriously, a style choice is starting to emerge. Tien's balance and focus on multi-limb and multi-form make his a good base for grappling, which is seriously neglected (boring and hard to animate) in the setting and therefore something many would be vulnerable to. Grappling presents a lot of less-than-lethal restraint options which would appeal to a pacifist and dodge a lot of the "hate violence" mali.
On top of that, his style is the one which formalizes burning lifeforce for energy, and this is really important because Kakara is probably the scion most likely in the history of the exile to master the spirit bomb. They were never combined in canon, but spirit bomb life force collection plus Tien energy burning plus prodigal ki projection means an extremely potent and versatile power source which doesn't exhaust the user. Tien style restricted it to last-ditch major efforts because they couldn't afford to burn life force casually, but with spirit bomb energy collection an entire new zero-day form nobody is prepared for could be created fairly easily all while still appealing to her pacifist nature. That covers the potent ranged combat aspect even before potential synergies with things like Kaio-ken feeding into grappling.
So, in the final calculus, you've got a powerful array of non-draining ranged attacks which don't hurt innocents followed by a mastered Super-Saiyan, an angry great ape, and a spirit-pumped kaio-ken baseline simultaneously teleporting in to wrestle a target into nonlethal submission in a manner nobody is prepared for using their four arms + two legs + tail each.

No she isn't. You need to be pure of heart to form the Spirit Bomb (throwing it once formed is another matter entirely) and she most likely has at least some small amount of evil in her, preventing her from forming the Spirit Bomb.
You're forgetting the Buu Saga. When the Spirit Bomb was being made there, the option to add peoples' life force to the Spirit Bomb was available but Mr. Satan refused to ask for it because it would kill the people. Studying Tien Style gives us nothing new so far as the Spirit Bomb goes.
The Spirit Bomb is only harmless towards those with pure hearts of good. Since almost everyone has at least a tiny bit of evil in them, it's an attack which can hurt almost everyone.
