Yes, that is what I initially meant. It was canon to the show, but it is not HERE, for obvious reasons. I should have specified. Notably, the Star Wars special WAS explicitly non-canon, even with the show, and they declared as much in its opening crawl.

Say....with Hawk's action didn't working as intended and if Doom keep on pestering us in Rival Reports, maybe it's prime time we do assault a rival action. What do you say on 'Blast one of Doom's National Actions with Fireworks' by Kitsune sounds?

The issue is its probably impossible to get people to dedicate the time and actions needed to actually harm Doom, as opposed to happy-slapping him once in a while. Like Russ fucked with him that one time and Doom got maluses for offensive actions against us, but that doesn't really harm his existing power base at all, and the Cog rollout was delayed. Except both of those malus are gone now and we didn't really capitalize on them at all. Same for Hawk. Maybe exposing him a few turns ago when he was "fresh" would've been good, but we se from the Blot interlude he was pretty much already fired so honestly all we probably did was give Doom more reasons to fire the guy which again doesn't really hurt him!
We critted. So...Probably, yeah. Hell, it might be like that time where we get our pick of, like, 6 different heroes.

I'm down for it. We now have Janna back to do Occult and we have a lack of reasonable DC intrigue actions. Put Russ on the drug ring, Kitsune on fucking with Doom, free up Mirage to go do diplomacy or stewardship, free up more heroes in a knock on.

Siiggggh I'm just gonna cry in the corner and wonder if we actually can get intrigue focused sabotage a rival actions instead of it all being under the "assault a rival" martial. Lets see if any of you can get answers.

With the exception of the magic action I can't help but feel like this turn was pretty meh
Yes we succeeded everything except the Spy action, which is probably the thing I personally most wanted to succeed, but all our rewards seem pretty sub par
Even Exposing Hawk doesn't seem to have had anywhere near the effect we were expecting and depending on what happens in the interlude might have been a complete waste

I'm hoping it might give him a PR hit. Probably not though. Maybe if we'd gotten a conviction...

We are also getting the Mongolian Relic actions this turn. If Khan gets a situational bonus ala Feldrake and Chicken Itza, we could stick Kitsune on fucking with Doom, Khan on occult, do some more tech upgrading for Martial, and then give Janna a chance to actually study magic with Feldrake. Get that tasty Occult.
(Or we could send her on more quests. That'll never be a bad move, and if we get one for Marco from the Dickens this turn it's pretty much mandatory.)
We got a critical success on our magi defenses, and we now have at least a couple new Hero Units, one of whom is Wendy, and the others of whom are guaranteed good Stewardship heroes.

I mean, I built my plan for synergy against Doom. You can't just expect to put one measley attack on a KING and expect it to do much. You need to hit hard from multiple different angles. Don't go halfway trying to damage a King and you expect large results.

So do the dickens need to roll again in their interlude or do they keep last turns roll and it just takes 2 turns?
I mean, there's a difference between expecting it to have a huge impact and expecting that revealing that one of his highest ranking subordinates has committed several crimes and having him arrested by the new competent police chief would have some impact on him and cause some negative PR
