Something that is worth considering is that, well, we might have a secret bonus to Diplomacy because, you know, Genghis Khan, Xanadu, etc, etc. These ghosts might work for the family or be family or something, some sort of arrangement along those lines that happened after his death.

Even if there isn't a bonus, I could potentially see one of the ghosts deciding to help them out with the rest of the quest as an advisor or something if we succeed.

My point is that memes are essays, albeit condensed ones... or essays are a series of memes.
If you are actually being sincere I'd really like to know who taught you essay writing and graded memes as essays.

The fact that a picture can contain a lot of details does not mean that any particular picture is an essay, play, cookbook or any other form of text. The point of the joke isn't to be a coherent logical argument. It is to amuse through humorous juxtaposition and subversion of expectations (hence why Disney characters are having an such an OOC existential discussion in the first place). The original meme was even more incoherent. See here for other examples of humor through incongruous juxtaposition.

Pretty good chance that there is also one of these things in Castle Doofhawk, that one McGuffin that ended there as a result of a good random event roll.
So if we find one here, one in (one of) Felldrake's temple, one in Doofhawk and one in Auction, we would have at the least 4 of the twelve.

Man, this is like collecting all the Dragonballs with how spread out they are.

I should not have Known that Meme, for it has reawakened memories of a nightmare I did not even experience first hand.

Queen Lizzy art
So if you partake in the discord, you'll know that I actually do quite a bit of drawing that isn't officially posted in thread due to mostly being rough, casual sketches. Coincidentally, I've put marginally more work into one than most, and having been encouraged to do so, I present to you Lizzy.

I can post some of the others if you guys want to see it, I guess.

I wholly support this endeavor, for it will be great base art for me to leech my skills from and easy Omake EXP

Today I have learned it is surprisingly hard to get a straight answer on the question of "can you punch a ghost originating from the Yuan Dynasty?"

Even without that exact info I'm leaning towards diplomacy as what I did find had heavy emphasis on spirits in ancient China needing proper burials/justice. They probably want something and Khan can probably deliver.

Well, that is a nice bonus since we brought Max, we wouldn't have gotten access to his uncle to help out with this. And will give us more bonuses on the quest. I say we try diplomacy first, then we can try other things if it fails.

So, is the Discord for this quest public?
There is no Discord for this quest. It's the Discord for DVV that happens to have a DoofQuest channel. A small distinction, but an important one.

Max might be complaining but he already payed for his trip getting Arizona on board. He might not use Toon force but he certainly has Toon Luck in spades

Because Khan was known to be so merciful to everyone else in his homeland who fought him.
I mean he kind of was? Being tolerant of defeated opponents so long as they served loyally was part of why the mongols were so good at conquering.

I too support the diplomacy option, It might not reflect well on us if a bunch of foreigners suddenly show up in the land of Temujin's ancestors and immediately adopt a shoot-first-question-later attitude towards local magical fauna.
