Eh. Even if the DC does increase next turn because we liquidated a bunch of assets, it'll probably increase TO something like 65-75. We can still handle that.I'm really torn on the Stewardship option, I get the logic in saving money for the auction but I'm also very worried that someone else will swoop on and buy Lee Industries if we continue to delay it which would cost us an opportunity to gain all their resources and a high Stewardship and Learning hero
Also, we can't catch literally every opportunity that crosses our path; there are too many. If we want to do well at the auction, we need money in hand. There are lots of hero units and ways to gain resources out there.
To be fair, yes- but that doesn't translate into "we need him right now." While the whole "Doof and robot children" plotline is something I think we should be trying to jump-start given that that's the Doof we want to see.Stanley is probably also a decent Stewardship hero given that he apparently ran a fairly successful construction company before going full supervillain
Stanley isn't going anywhere.
Knowing what Toffee is, and that (for example) he commands the loyalty of millions of nonhuman creatures and an entire parallel world/dimension where they're obsessed with corn, would probably make it easier to put what we learn into context. What benefits would Janna's information actually provide to the investigation? She left that area several months ago, so she wouldn't know what's currently going on there. And neither Doof or Russ need to know Toffee's life story to go and investigate what is occurring in his territory.
Just sending a guy down there to find out what's happening can happen regardless- but part of an investigation is understanding what you see. The more Doof (and his chosen agent) know in-character, the more likely they are to understand what they see and correctly interpret the clues in front of them.
