Bakaemono: Personal Friend

While you're not one to take promises of friendship on faith, you seem to have hit it off with Judy Silverman. She's made vague hints towards something being 'off' at Bakaemono, but so far as you can see, she does have some actual power.
Here is the blurb from Mirage. I guess we should take the supply chain action from them and work togerher with them more as they have the closest and most genuine connection based on this blurb. Perhaps they would be willing to join the DEI family after the fallout from whatever the Yokai is planning.

We also should focus more attention on the Zaibatsu in general cause of their connection to Doom, Vanessa at SFIT, and the Yokai planning something.

Should we be worried aboutDoom? I kind of feel like we should be hammering him.

Maybe not necessary if you read the opinion tracker of him. I think Yokai is a higher priority right now.

And here is the rest of them.

Danville People: Beloved Uncle, Reclusive Chocolatier

The people of Danville and the broader Tri-State Area view Dr. Heinz closer to a wacky uncle than a distant CEO, largely benefiting off of his more benevolent policies and viewing the rest of them as too unimportant to really affect their lives. Quality of life has improved significantly due to the jobs offered in and around Danville, enough that most will overlook the downsides of his control, but some people are rightfully beginning to tire of the chaos that continually affects their lives. Being subjected to raining meat and mad scientists running rampant in the streets grates on the nerves after a while. Dr. Heinz's declarations of 'independence' and plays at being a mad scientist are seen as absurdly hilarious by many, viewing it as a parody of how 'evil' other CEOs can be and a sign that Doofenshmirtz alone is actually self-aware.

[brief giggling fit]

A few have even taken to the company's 'Doofania' insistence, albeit in a mostly jocular or humoring manner. It's seen as a repudiation and mockery of the classic CEO delusions of grandeur, rather than… delusions of grandeur itself. DEI can, in broad strokes, be seen as an equivalent to a mad inventor's chocolate factory or a mostly benevolent fey; a powerful force that can be turned to for aid and succor, but never without its dangers and completely unpredictable.

National Opinion: Eccentric Millionaire

The rest of the country views DEI as just another megacorp, albeit one with odd branding, without a speciality and with a wide variety of products. Their work on the famine earned considerable goodwill, and developments in fields that the general populace can care about, such as dinosaurs, have done a lot to improve this. DEI's weird 'Doofanian' fixation is ignored by most, seeing it as a grandiose delusion that some choose to play along with because of monetary incentives.

US Government: Unpredictable Thorn in Side

The Federal Government has little to no reason to be fond of you, given that you are actively pushing back against the very delicate power structure of the US. Thankfully, DEI stands atop a very large jenga tower made up of bigger, far more dangerous jenga pieces. As long as we avoid pressing the issue, the government is likely to focus on keeping their coverups intact and, where possible, dealing with the factions that could crash the economy overnight. You may do crazy things, but you do crazy things that don't, normally, hurt them more than anyone else.

Shego: Drakken 2.0

Based on her interactions, it seems that Doofenshmirtz strongly reminds Shego of her former partner in crime and current subordinate. This can be occasionally useful. Frequently, it is not. Structurally, our corporations are almost entirely separate despite being headquartered quite close, geographically speaking.

Olympia: Tentative Cooperator

Olympia has extended general feelers of cooperation to us, albeit without a larger degree of followthrough on either side. There may be an opportunity for a deeper relationship, but questions remain about their true intentions. Sinatron in particular is a major question mark.

Judge Doom: Possible Antagonist

While Doofenshmirtz' previous antagonisms are unlikely to distract Doom in the long term, it is possible he suspects what we suspect about the death of Alonso Hawk. If so, he is doubtlessly working hard to determine what we know and what can be done about it.

David Xanatos: Ally of Convenience

Xanatos is unquestionably manipulating the Doctor to his own ends. Thus far, those ends have not been openly hostile to our own interests. However, his skill at obfuscation most likely exceeds our own.

Funtelligence: Cordial Coworker

Our collaboration with Funtelligence has borne fruit, despite whatever misgivings exist clearly between Mr. Trengrove and Ms. Wower. Trengrove looks on us with some degree of suspicion but doesn't have any concrete opinions on the Doctor as of yet.

Bakaemono: Personal Friend

While you're not one to take promises of friendship on faith, you seem to have hit it off with Judy Silverman. She's made vague hints towards something being 'off' at Bakaemono, but so far as you can see, she does have some actual power.

Sycorax: Indifference

Sycorax has not yet had any significant dealings with us, although they have expressed some interest in collaboration after our work in genetics.

ENCOM: Fading Competition

ENCOM once saw DEI as a potential competitor until DoofOS faded from public attention. Now that DaedalOS has a relatively insignificant part of the market share, ENCOM appears to give DEI little more attention than any other technology firm.

Calisota Conglomerate: Not Worth My Dollars!

We have not yet presented the richest duck in the world with a profit incentive.

Khan Industries: Politely Acknowledged Neighbor

DEI has not yet done anything in particular that would affect Khan's own interests. Some areas for collaboration exist, but so far the company has only kept up meaningless pleasantries.

New Mewni Investment Corporation: Uncertain. Somewhat concerning.

The illusive CEO of NMIC and benefactor of the New Mewni Economic Investment Zone hasn't seemed to have paid any attention to DEI since offering the corn deal a while back. Considering his apparent nature as an interdimensional warlord who happens to have a block of shell companies that sell corn products, that is probably for the best. His assets are almost certainly being funneled towards the search for this 'Star Butterfly'.

Mark Beaks: Free Advertisement

Mark Beaks and Doofenshmirtz have a light squabble going on, which Waddle is taking advantage of to keep their name on the Doofnet feed without paying for the adspace. He is a minor nuisance, the Doctor's petty fixation aside. Recently, Waddle has started a "Don't be Evil" campaign as a petty slight, likely to provoke a greater response from DEI.

Zootopia State: Curious Omnivore

Our interactions with the Pacific Northwest state of Zootopia have been scarce up to this point. The mayor of Zootopia, Bellwether, has recently come to us with interest in collaboration. Doof's early history of being raised by wild ocelots is not expected to incense the mayor's fringe following of anti-predator extremists.

[Personal note: Raised by what?]

On a further note I think I am going to be moving forward with this plan once the moratorium ends in a few days, considering we have received WoG that the doof's head option is one time because he is frozen and hints it could help with Russ, with MrHobbit's eventual plan probably being my second choice if a doof's head option isn't going to win the vote (as his plan is similar to Executive Nystical).
@woweed I know you made a doof's head plan with some slight differences, would you be willing to vote for my plan once the moratorium ends?

I think we should put more attention on San Fransokyo. It is besieged by monsters, infiltrated by cult, threatened by tsunami if Obake plan goes as it was in canon, not to mention whatever Trevor plans on doing. It is also a town in which we just send Vanessa.

Hope we will gain opportunity to look into cult at some point. As of now talking with Trevor and recruiting more of hero 6 is only things that I can think of that could help with it.

On stewardship [ ] Solidify your Hero Structure under Mirage decreased its DC by 10 points, so it is still remains doable, or at least don't carries risks of crit fall.

As for further AI studies I am more interested in developing our existing AI over doing further fundamental research. And all we need for it is for some hero units to interact with our AI.

I've modified my Exeuctive Nystical Doof's Head plan, by instead of having Lizzy do the learning action other dimension inator, do the intrigue action to sweep the low level information leaks.

There is merit to the idea of canceling the non-collab learning action for the 4th Intrigue instead of the 2nd stewardship, and better yet both for a 5th intrigue action.

Mirage has 27 less learning than Doof but 13 more Intrigue. So right away there is value there.

I think the simplest and best bet would simply to have Lizzy do the easy sweep action instead of other dimensionator. We can do that next turn and this way can potentially crit both, starting this turn with the extra intrigue action with Mirage's better intrigue score, plus it's a special Mirage action so it's time sensitive.

Plus doing all of the security actions together feels like the right thing to do, don't give any warning to the moles and eliminate any potential ways the moles could come back in one fell swoop.

Hm....Sure, yeah, I can work with this.

To clarify, the heroes who are locked in theirs previous actions are Wile E. Coyote, Monogram and Gomez right? Or i'm forgetting someone else?

Alan, but he can't do it, so he just wanders with the dread of imminent deadline following him.... There is just nothing to finish though.

...Apparently, I never gave my two cents about the Opionion-Track-Inator - letßs rectify that one, shall we?

Danville People: Beloved Uncle, Reclusive Chocolatier

DEI's weird 'Doofanian' fixation is ignored by most, seeing it as a grandiose delusion that some choose to play along with because of monetary incentives.

...Did *frigging Mirage* just GIGGLE about Doofanias people reading Doofs genuine insistence to be "Supreme Overlord of the Tri/Two-and-a-Half-State-Area" as him actually not being sincere about it and instead playing up the "evil, domineering CEO" shtick for shits and giggles?

I admit, that *is* funny about how wrong they are about us.

That being said, them seeing us as essentially a more genuinely philanthropic Willy Wonka (although many are rightfully starting to tire of the chaos we tend to chaos somewhat-accidentially in the process) is a facade we should cultivate because it makes the people more inclined to not hinder us.

I am not saying that we should completly cut out the zaniness - quite the opposite, I want us to refine that zaniness into actually productive stuff...but I already covered that issue before

Understandable, that the Feds would be annoyed about us actively kicking against the structure keeping everything afloat. But they are willing to not bother us too much as long as we don´t press the issue further? Fine, we don´t do that then and instead - as stated above - focus on refine our zaniness and pettiness into more constructive forms - easy as that.

Figures that Shego would be very wary of dealing with us on account of her - quite rightfully - seeing us as simply "Drakken 2.0", with her being on the fence about whether that makes us *better* or *Worse* to deal with. I´d say that we try dealing with her in a way that makes her move us mentally closer to the *Better* side of the equation to de-escalate any brewing needless conflict with her.

Olympia: Tentative Cooperator

Olympia has extended general feelers of cooperation to us, albeit without a larger degree of followthrough on either side. There may be an opportunity for a deeper relationship, but questions remain about their true intentions. Sinatron in particular is a major question mark.

...Yeah, Olympia is the unstable variant right now, because while on the surface we had primarly positive dealings with them - old grievances inherited from Kronos withstanding of course -, below the surface there is the whole Screenslaver issue to tackle that will probably boil over in the coming SRA-focused Adventure that I am almost certain we will vote for to tackle. So in the end, that Adventure will probably roll the dice hard on our dealings with Olympia.

This statement, coupled with the description of the Intrigue option regarding high-level moles, all but states to me that Doom either has infiltrated or will infiltrate DEI to stir up some shit - especially since otherwise Doom was suspiciously mumm about our rivalry, which to me is *not* a good sign at all.

David Xanatos: Ally of Convenience

Xanatos is unquestionably manipulating the Doctor to his own ends. Thus far, those ends have not been openly hostile to our own interests. However, his skill at obfuscation most likely exceeds our own.

...I really want him to drop the "of convenience" part somehow - best way to achieve that would be to ease up on the whole "kicking at the US´ fragile structure by insisting to be a Banana Republic dictator" bit and collab some more with him personally on different issue like the Magical Underground.

Sycorax: Indifference

Sycorax has not yet had any significant dealings with us, although they have expressed some interest in collaboration after our work in genetics.

No real plans regarding either of them, so I´ll just take it.

ENCOM: Fading Competition

ENCOM once saw DEI as a potential competitor until DoofOS faded from public attention. Now that DaedalOS has a relatively insignificant part of the market share, ENCOM appears to give DEI little more attention than any other technology firm.

...Yeah, we´ve fallen back hard in the IT sector thanks to DoofOS simply refusing to be reworked into something actually worthwhile and DaedalOS just doesn´t have the market coverage to rectify that. So for the time being, we´ll have to "abandon that front".

Calisota Conglomerate: Not Worth My Dollars!

We have not yet presented the richest duck in the world with a profit incentive.

Well, I am not too keen to do business with that ass anyway if we don´t have to, so fine by me.

Khan Industries: Politely Acknowledged Neighbor

DEI has not yet done anything in particular that would affect Khan's own interests. Some areas for collaboration exist, but so far the company has only kept up meaningless pleasantries.

I can only return that sentiment at the time, SK.

Yeah, we can´t really do anything against Toffee right now, so him being occupied with battling Phobos and hunting down Star only helps us prepare.

Recently, Waddle has started a "Don't be Evil" campaign as a petty slight, likely to provoke a greater response from DEI.

...Yeah, not taking his bait right now. If he wants us to follow up on things, he´ll have to do better than that.

You heard right, Mirage:

*Ocelots*...and apparently also Polar Bears according to the quest, but that´s beside the point.

Anyway, really want to stick it to that bitch somehow, but right now, we are a bit tied up, so she gets off scott-free *for now*

[] Plan Executive Nystical
[] Plan Executive Nystical Doof's Head Variant.
Uh, Nystical? Bit of a problem with your plans: we can only use Executive Priorities once.

Executive Priorities: Once a turn, Mirage may choose to take a Diplomacy, Stewardship, or Intrigue action in place of any other action. This action takes a -10 penalty, as repurposed resources are not perfectly efficient.

On stewardship [ ] Solidify your Hero Structure under Mirage decreased its DC by 10 points, so it is still remains doable, or at least don't carries risks of crit fall.
Yes. The DC of the action has been reduced by 10 points, but this turn the rolls are also reduced by 20.

If we spend XP we'll essentially have the same chance of success as we would with Doof, except Doof actually has more Stewardship!

Edit:
What happened with [ ] Investigate the San Fransokyo Cult action? I thought it was supposed to become easier, not disappear outright?
That option probably doesn't exist because Mirage doesn't care to investigate them.

And I would say our internal security is more important.

I'd like to bring up the potential Quest Team of Mirage, Technor, Mezmerella, and Queen Lizzy:

Martial: 5+27+5 = 37
Diplomacy: 26+33-5+(10)+(10) = 54 base, +5 for people who appreciate sarcasm (which probably includes Evelyn), +10 for anything to do with Kronos or Olympia, +10 for supers Mirage has no history with
Stewardship: 23+22+(10) = 45 base, +10 for anything to do with Kronos or Olympia
Intrigue: 31+29+(10)+10-ish = 60 base, with bare failures becoming bare successes, +10 for anything to do with Kronos or Olympia
Learning: 11+30 = 41
Occult: 0+4 = 4

So, Occult is a clear weak point, and perhaps Marco could have filled that in. But he both costs income and would be exposed to Toffee.

Magical NYC has been on backburber for awhile, plus she is known as savior and Janna is also going to MNYC this turn.
Yeah, sure, but Japan is something we only get with Mirage, who has better Diplomacy than Doof, and we can do MNYC whenever. Just because something can be done for synergy doesn't mean it has to be.

No?

[ ] Expand into Foreign Markets
DC Variable

DEI's growth over the years has been steady and consistent. We can now take the logical steps, acquire the proper permits, and grease the right palms to expand into foreign markets. This can be a risk, but certainly one worth considering.

Select one of the following nations Doofensmhirtz has recently had on his mind.

-[ ] Japan: Eastern capital of bleeding-edge science, robotics, ninjas, and anime. Their Prime Minister is Kitsunezuka "The Big Cheese" Seymour.
DC 120

-[ ] British Isles: Industrialized centers of trade and commerce. Includes the UK and Ireland. Home to John D. Rockerduck, oil magnate and Second-Richest Duck.
DC 130

-[ ] France: Bonjour! This futuristic country hosts noir scenes, genetic engineering, romance, fine dining, and supervillain terrorism.
DC 130

-[ ] Thembria: Frigid, repressive state on the edge of Siberia. The Thembrians maintain a robust army and chilly relations with the rest of the globe.
DC 100
Notice how Expand into Foreign markets isn't blue text, which means it isn't a Mirage exclusive? Also notice how it mentions that Doof has had the nations on his mind.

The action text isn't blue so we should have it moving forward.

...Huh. I see. Alright, objection withdrawn.

EDIT: Hey, wait a minute, if we have hired Olivia Denkins, shouldn't she be listed under hero units? Or am I just crazy?
