Woo! MirageQuest! This should be a fun change of pace - sees all the stuff interfering this turn - well, that was some really bad timing. Ah, well.

While the suits won't be as great as your own-
Wait, Mirage has a power suit? Sweet!

[] Plan Executive Actions
So, would you object to switching Max from "Play some video games" to my previous suggested write in "Shadow Wasabi"? I still think their personalities are simular enough that they might get along well together, and this turn he's on a Stewardship action, which iirc you thought fit better with Max's depiction in the movie.

And, more to the point, we might get something interesting off of this, while I very much doubt anything will come of the video games.

I think something could come out of video games, though it is very possible it is simply another watch soap opera action, intended to keep the hero busy when we have literally nothing for them.

I'd be willing to make the change.

OK, I'll concede that something might come of the video game option. For that matter, we got that Investigate Dr Zone action from the Watch soap opera action, so who knows what could be possible. Some things are more likely than others, though.

--[] [Intrigue] Hunt for Moles (Tobe)
Incidentally, I cannot help but suspect that there is a distinct possibility of this resulting in Tobe hunting the literal animals. This will probably only happen on a failure, or possibly a very strange success, but...

For the purpose of information parity with the Discord:

nwish: Since you're here C-Moon... Is the examine Doof action only available while he's frozen?
Made in Heaven: Yes? Why wouldn't it be? Unless you want to lose Doof for another two months

Alright people, I want to do the Doof examination action for the collab and here is why:

  1. Dr. Mercurial is Dreamfinder, and is directly involved with the action. Note the purple name
  2. We were directly told Dreamfinder can help us get Russ back
  3. Doof's mind could help us rediscover Russ's existence, since he was wiped from Doof's memories and Dr. Mercurial might be able to notice that
  4. Russ needs our help since he just had an encounter with Bill
  5. We can only do it this turn, all of the other collabs can be done later

If nothing else it would be amusing for the Federal government to read a report about how Doof's mind works.

That being said, it would be rather annoying to try to fit Technor into the action.

We could have Ludivine do it and the potion to let her also tutor Gomez. Plus it is the option most in range for Mirage's middling Learning.

Not really.

Emergent Robotics: 11+28+30+4 = 73
Examine Doof: 11+40+4 = 55

Wendy knocks Technor and Ludivine out of the park in her field. Unless Technor gets some kind of bonus from his sessions, and Technor would have doctor-patient confidentiality covering that.

I mean, if we look in terms of CoS before II gets involved…
ER: +73, on DC150 after XP need to roll 77+, so 23% CoS
ED: +55 on DC 100 after XP, need to roll 45+, so 55% CoS
Examining Doof does give higher odds of success
That's true.

I would like word from MiH before deciding anything about Ludivine being put on the collab though. The way I read it, if she wanders from it, there won't be any collab, but I could be wrong.

I don't think she can wander from a collab, but I could be wrong.

We have word:

C-MoonToday at 11:47 PM

Ludivine won't wander off of the collab action, but if Absent-Minded procs, she could end up doing something you don't want, or something the other faction wants regardless of whether you want it or not

Two thoughts:

Have Kitsune finally reach out to MNYC. Should synergize with Janna in Brocamas.

Wendy Talking to Trevor with Potion (or having Ludivine tutor Gomez with it). But both plans have Wendy talking to Trevor and Norm will hopefully be there with his write in personal action.

Decided to chuck my own plan out there. The big thing here is that it uses a Learning action instead of Stewardship as Executive Priorities fodder, because Mirage is better at Stewardship than Doof and we should lean into that while she's in charge. (Also I want to crit-fish the extradimensional research. It's a fairly easy way to get a much needed edge when trying to cross dimensions without getting wrecked by Toffee or the other guy)

With that Stewardship action freed up, I slotted in Collaborating with Smarty Mart. With Mirage+Roddy's Stewardship, we've got 23(Mirage)+29(Roddy)+2(Roddy Loyalty) = +54 on a DC 70-10 action, meaning we succeed on an 6 or higher and crit on a 66 or higher. And there's a possibility that this might trigger Roddy's +15 to large construction projects, given the text of the Smarty Mart action says that it's "a large-scale upgrade to your Doofenshmirtz Evil Megamarts". If Roddy's +15 does apply, then we're looking at 23+29+2+15 = +69. We'd autosucceed the action and get a crit-success on a roll of 51 or higher, assuming max DC reduction.. Pretty nice odds either way when the option gives us an income boost and access to a powerful Stewardship Hero at the base success level.

Edit: Forgot about the -20 Stewardship malus. Does make the action a bit less attractive, but we'd still be at +34/+49 out of DC 70-10=60, depending on whether Roddy's trait procs or not. Still very favorable odds on the action, with a 15% or 30% chance of crit success, depending on Roddy's trait.

Your study doof's head plan is good but what do you think about the changes in my doof's head variant plan? I have the potion going to Ludivine to instruct Gomez as I think that will give a huge benefit right now and we can have Technor build legs later, and Kitsune going to Magical NYC to finally get that contact and should synergize with Janna also going to Brocamas.
